I have the Mozilla VPN on my laptop. I'm trying to get it on my desktop. I signed in to my Firefox account, but there is no Mozilla VPN in the tray and the Mozilla VPN instructions say. I've checked the taskbar icon setting and it is not a hidden icon either. Mozilla says I can have 5 devices. How do I add a device when the app is not visible/installed?

You need to install Mozilla VPN on each device you want the VPN to be on as simply logging into your Firefox Account will not trigger the VPN to work on that device.

To download and install Mozilla VPN, see How to download Mozilla VPN on your desktop or mobile device.

Where can I get the install file? A search takes me to the webpage where I must enter credit card info and agree to pay the fee -- which I already did. It seem to me this will be paying twice for the same thing when they say up to 5 machines on a subscription.

Are you logging in with the same account you used to register/pay for the VPN?

Yes. However, I'm still in the 30 day trial. Could that be part of it?

It shouldn't be an issue. What is the operating system for the second device? Also, try clearing your cache and cookies.

You can reach the Mozilla VPN team directly: Log into your account at https://accounts.firefox.com, click manage next to Subscriptions, and click support.

All are win 10. When I log in I am not seeing what you describe. However, under Devices & Apps I am seeing all my machines so I assume that means they are on the same account correctly.

Strange. Devices shown under Devices & Apps are only related to devices signed in to the same Firefox Account. They are not related to Mozilla VPN. Mozilla VPN must be installed on each device separately.

If Subscriptions is not showing, it may be possible that you accidentally signed up with a different email address. I'm not sure quite sure if it takes time for the server to realize you've registered for Mozilla VPN, but it might also be that you need to wait for it to appear.

Yes it is all really weird. On my laptop in the VPN >Get help>Contact Us, takes me to my Firefox account where there is no link or info to contact any form of support. It just shows my account information. This pretty absurd.

Further, the icon for the VPN on my MS Surface has disappeared from the tray.

I think you are correct, I signed up for the VPN with a different email address than my Firefox account. How do I change that?

Log into the account with the 'wrong' email address and cancel the subscription. Once that is done, sign up using the correct email account.
