I have installed a Ricoh printer which I access (for printing etc) by an Ethernet connection. My router gives the printer an IP address through DHCP but when I try to log into the admin functions on the printer Firefox gives me the message: Error code: SSL_ERROR_WEAK_SERVER_EPHEMERAL_DH_KEY Despite the comment on the Mozilla help pages there is no option to "Report errors like this to help Mozilla ..." and it's definitely not a malicious website.

Hi StevenS, try disabling two ciphers and see whether the printer has an alternate way to connect:

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button accepting the risk.

(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste SSL3 and pause while the list is filtered

(3) Double-click the security.ssl3.dhe_rsa_aes_128_sha preference to switch the value from true to false

(4) Double-click the security.ssl3.dhe_rsa_aes_256_sha preference to switch the value from true to false

Thanks. I can get to the printer admin functions but I still have to go past a "Potential Security Risk" screen. At least I can get where I need to get.
