Flash Videos Problems Since Upgrade to V13.0

Since the upgrade to V13 videos on sites like ESPN and Yahoo Sports will play with audio only, no picture (YouTube appears to be OK)

I have reinstalled the program and even tried the beta version being tested but the situation remains the same.

The above has failed to resolve the problem (The various files referred to for deletion in one reply are not on my PC)

Would appreciate some simple, easy to follow guidance to deal with the matter.

hello chaos13, adobe has just released another (major) flash upgrade, can you try first to remove your current version from the windows control panel & then install 11.3: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

Thanks for the reply but I made sure all the add-ons were up to date when the problem started. Therefore the current version referred to in your link is already in use.

The problem relates to FireFox as the same vids play in both Chrome and IE. Also noticed the theme on my IGoogle page in now not displayed since the upgrade. No problem when viewing the same page using Chrome.

Is there a way to report this to FireFox directly as an update / fix is needed. Will be using another browser until it is sorted :(

I've been having similar problems. I'm unable to play the embedded games on slingo. com and pogo.com, whereas I could before. I'm also unable to view the chat on the decorah eagle cam on ustream. Everything works fine in IE but I hate using that browser. I'm soooo frustrated!

Does anybody have the solution to this challenge in non techie language. ( I am a computer user not not a computer expert )I have no sound or video in firefox. All the sites I'm using are working all OK in IE but not firefox since the upgrade to V13.

I find this so frustrating as I absolutley hate using IE but looks as if I'm being forced into that sutuation as I need to beable to access live and recorded business / training webinars and this challenge it is hampering my livelyhood.
