I-Thunderbird Isithangami Sokwesekwa

i have been away from my pc for 6 weeks and cannot access thunderbird. it repeated states that the login server IMAP.telstra.com failed my email hillsec@bigpond.net.au i have tried changing the in server and outgoing server to match my ipad and iphone which can receive emails. please help me to restore everything in thunderbird.

Last week, sometime, I received ALL the emails, that have come into my "mailbox", from about the time I purchased my latest computer, several years ago. There must be hundreds, if not thousands, of the little critters. All arranged alphabetically, starting with the letter "a". So far, the ONLY solution I've found from "Thunderbird Help", is to 1. Open inbox 2. Select [left click] one of the repeated emails. 3. This high lights the email in BLUE. 4. Select BOTH "CONTROL & A" KEYS at the same time. 5. This highlights the WHOLE PRESENT page of emails in BLUE. 6. The instructions then say to press the "DELETE" key. 7. Question is- IF I PRESS THE "DELETE" key, will that just delete the emails on this page, OR delete EVERY email in my entire "inbox"? The only OTHER remedy I've tried, is to send the unwanted emails, ONE at a time, to the "TRASH" folder, then empty the "TRASH" folder, when I get 10-15 emails in it. That could take a VERY long time. Hello all together,

i just reinstalled my whole pc, win10 64. I exported my profile including all possible data, the .zip was too big to import so i copied it into the profile folder, on my desktop, in another foldet etc. But i always get the error message shown in the picture. This is my only chance to have access to my (partly) old email accounts... that's why i followed all steps, but i cannot import everything. I REALLY need your help and would appreciate it A LOT.

V 115.9.0 (32-bit) Good day, I have K9 as my mail client on my Android phone. In K9 there is the possibility to display all incoming mails of my different IMAP accounts in one folder (Common inbox). Is it possible to set up such a folder in Supernova? Thanks for detailed instructions Stefan

Thunderbird continues to lose my password for incoming and outgoing mail. Occasionally it works, but I keep getting messages that my password doesn't work / enter new password. When I go to passwords, it does not show the incoming or outgoing servers so I can make sure my password is there. I use Xfinity for my email. It was suggested earlier that it is an Xfinity problem. My Thunderbird email is essentially unuseable. I need it to work!

I cannot receive certain emails sent by interactive brokers which is trying to verify my profile and information on file. They told me to contact my email provider.

I want to support Mozilla but have no need for the complexity of Thunderbird. I find navigating the huge number of options hugely timewasting, eg I inadvertently remove some headers but can find no way of undoing this. Is there a cut down, simplified version I can use?

Every time I open TB email on my laptop I get the following page, which then exists as long as I am on TB. I can work-around this page to send and receive email. Here is the top half of the page:

Hi, I am not sure how it happened, I am now in a position where I can't use my Thunderbird properly. Every time I open TB, it asks for "please enter your Primary Password" which I don't have/deleted? If a try to remove the tick from "Use a Primary Password" it opens a box requesting my Current Password, I have tried the last one and the one before, none are accepted. When I search in Saved logins, it seems to me to be empty. in short I seem to need a current password to change my password. It is a vicious loop. Every few days, the index pane of some folder gets corrupted. Repair (right-click, Properties, Repair Folder) fixes it. Then a few days later this repeats, with a different folder. I have three IMAP accounts and this occurs on more than one of them.

Any suggestion for finding and fixing the underlying problem?

I have Thunderbird 115.10.1 (32 bit) and Windows 10 Pro, 64 bit.

The reminder function quit working...nothing at all

I'll add an appointment ask for a reminder, but nothing happens however it used to work

I used to get a reminder email as well as a notice sent to my phone, but now nothing to include the folks I have invited to the event. No reminders for anyone. I have checked Notify Attendees and Separate Invitation per attendee on the Edit Event pop up the by nothing I do seems to work.

The goal is to get the reminder to the phone screen(s) and emails.

why do you change my message selection when I delete an unrelated message??? Sometimes you delete a message that I haven't opened yet (and don't necessarily wish to open at this time)!!!

tried to donate, it wouldn't let me click paypal, so used credit card, then just kept saying an error has occurred. You cant say I didn't try. You ask for donations then don't accept them.

Hi, I have used Thunderbird for many years and always liked it. I would like to know is there a way to tone down the brightness of the white message pane in email ?? It is very bright and glaring. Any white anywhere else I go is just fine. Thank You,, Banyarola
