I just asked this question a few minutes ago. This is a correction. It's only the font size in my signature that has shrunk since the latest Thunderbird update. The image in the signature is still the same size as it was before the update. I would like to know HOW to make the signature font size the same as the message font size.

My environment - I am running Thunderbird 115.10.2 (64-bit), and Windows 10. - I have had NO Windows updates for at least two weeks.

The problem - About five days ago, outgoing messages (messages I was trying to send) started taking about 15 to 30 seconds before they were sent successfully.

- Today, I am unable to send messages. I can receive messages.

Actions I have taken 1. I re-installed Thunderbird after using Revo Uninstaller to uninstall it. 2. I contacted my ISP. They checked their settings, and have been unable to detect any error.

I've been running Thunderbird for years on Gentoo which has version 115.10.1 as the most recent. I don't send much mail so I'm not exactly sure when this problem occurred, but I'm unable to authenticate with my SMTP server. I have not changed any configuration. Some weeks ago a changed my password on the server, but I made the appropriate changes to Thunderbird password manager. All settings, username and passwords are 100% correct as I copy pasted all of them. IMAP on the same server (uses same credentials) works.

I have tried deleting and re-adding my accounts which did not help. I have also tried deleting my profile folder. All other mail clients (e.g. claws-mail, kmail, mailspring) with the same SMTP server don't have any problems sending mail. This problem seems to only affect Thunderbird and Thunderbird forks such as Betterbird.

I have no firewall and am using SSL authentication with cleartext password on the SMTP server.

I get the following output to console on attempted sending of message:

My Local Folders has become corrupted after restoring from a backup. I can't delete or move subfolders, and can only delete messages by holding down the shift key. Is there a way of repairing this? Thanks.

I created a signature years ago. With the last Thunderbird update, the signature font (and image) shrunk in size. I would like the signature to match the font size of the message text, like it used to. I can't find any information about that, or any explanation as to why it shrunk.

Please find attached screenshot. I have added 10 email accounts for 5 domains. Most of them are unified since I used the "unified [folders]" option. Unfortunately, Thunderbird ignores several email accounts. This seems like a bug to me.

The height of the viewing panel for emails is far too small. I can only see a couple of lines of text at the most and am unable to reduce the height of the incoming list of emails as previously in order to increase the height of the viewing panel. I have been helped to increase the font size of the overall layout so that I can now read it better but the green button to declare that my problem has been solved tells me that the page isn't working!

I am having issues with Thunderbird not retaining my email server and passwords. Each time I want to send an email, it prompts me for the password and then tells me that the email address and server don't match. I have tried numerous times to correct this, but it doesn't hold the information. It also switches the server info between accounts. I have 3 different email account and sometimes only one works correctly

Hello, I am new to Thunderbird and still learning. So I may have missed something setting it up. When I write an email over time it gets saved in my draft folder, but I get multiple copies and when I send it the previous versions remain in my Draft folder. So I end up with email messages, some of which have been sent and some are genuine drafts that I need to finish. If I wanted to keep a different version I'd probably amend the title. So my questions: How do I tell which has been sent and which is still a draft to complete and do I have to delete the old versions myself or ideally can I set it so that when I edit the message and save the new draft it overwrites the previous one? I've read the "fixes" from 2023 and they do not work for me. I tried changing the DESCRIPTION to blank, didn't work. Changed them to the corresponding e-mail for the account. Didn't work. Changed it to "SMTP" with the corresponding e-mail. Didn't work.

It keeps changing the last one I edit to the one I edited before it. It's driving me crazy. Won't send mail unless the User Name is correct (obv.)

Whole mess started when forced to switch from Cox to Yahoo recently. Seems to be working other than TB changing the name as soon as I type in the next one in the next email address and then it not working until I change the User Name back to the proper e-mail address of the 6 accounts.

Good Day. I inadvertently upgraded to version 125 using PatchMyPC. After the upgrade the filters are not listing correctly. I search for a filter that I know exists; but it does not appear. When I try to save it under the same name, obviously it complains that the Filter already exists. I'm assuming this will be fixed in a future release. Thanks. Joe T.

Some how I managed to get duplicate folders with many sub folders attached to 2 other accounts. The sub folders do not all contain the same information. Some are empty other contain information I am looking for. I want to print on the sub folder names along with the number of entries so that so that I can copy/consolidate the non empty sub folder back to their original location. The sub folder list is very long. I work better with hard copy as opposed to flipping screens. Any time I tried to print the sub folder list, it printed all of the contents.

I just migrated my email from cox to yahoo servers. The cox.net domain is retained.

I had never seen a "bulk" folder with my other domains and was having problems with emails being sent there.

I deleted the bulk folder and it moved to trash but cannot actually be deleted. I also re created a bulk folder. see pic.

Now emails are still going to the bulk folder that is in trash.

Is there any way to fix this?

I deleted Thunderbird, than Installed latest version. Now in Thunderbird "Use Primary Password" is clicked so I can't reset primary P/W. Previous P/W doesn't work because there is no P/W there as far as I can see. Instructions I found: "Tools> Developer Tools> Error> etc. There is no "Error" button. Instead I get Incoming Connection (attachment) and an other screen that I don't understand. Can you help please? Thank you Ilio Pieroni

from today I cannot download my gmail to Thunderbird, I'm getting always here below error code:

“400 invalid_request” or “Access blocked: App sent an invalid request,” it means the app uses an authorization method that Google doesn't allow. Google has safe ways for you to sign in and share your Google Account data with third-party apps and sites.

Please let me know how to proceed.
