The temporary fix for the unpopulated unified folders including the Sent folder, and the issues with missing messages, some showing up in individual folders and not the unified folder and vice versa were just that, temporary fixes. Yesterday, the Sent folder was back to being unpopulated, and the individual folders containing my important and starred messages were all open for some mysterious reason. How this happened out of the blue is also a mystery, because I was not notified of an upgrade. If upgrades are installing on my computer without my permission, this is completely unacceptable. This is a subject that needs to be taken seriously at this point.

Hi, I am looking for some help. I am using Windows 10, Comcast internet, and a VPN. I get error message when my VPN is on saying that my IP Address has bee blacklisted and I can not send or receive emails using Thunderbird. I also get an error within Thunderbird. My VPN Service says its either Comcast or Thunderbird. Been working with Comcast on the issue. Could it be a Thunderbird issue? My VPN Service says to reinstall Thunderbird but no guaranties that will help. Please let me know if there are any solutions I can try. Otherwise I may need to pay more for a dedicated IP Address. Thanks Marc

When I want to print an email I want the body of the email and I do not want the header information. How do I remove this unwanted script at the top of the email? I have tried ticking and unticking the tick-box for headers and footers in the print dialog to no avail. This question has been asked before but was archived.

I have been struggling with this for months. I really like Thunderbird but I have tried everything. Receiving emails works fine, it is just the SMTP that hangs. I will have to abandon this and go to outlook if I cant resolve. It Does eventually go but it takes a couple tries. The examples given, I resent and it was fine.

SOOOO MANY THINGS ARE WRONG AND DON'T WORK RIGHT.

The older version would be an IMPROVEMENT to this set up!

When creating new account Thunderbird hangs on "Checking password..." When I click on "Configure manually" and then click on "Done", I get the message "Incoming server al… (funda kabanzi)

But, the account is not in "Account Settings". Additionally, it is not in "Outgoing Server". I had this email account before and removed it. Please help.

This is the GENERIC url for the DEFAULT gmail contacts sync:

Is there a way to customize this URL to get ONLY the LABEL from the entire contacts list?

For Example:

My email provider required me to migrate to a new server and advised setting up a new Account in Thunderbird. I did this and it successfully imported most or all of my stored emails from the old server. However, the import only preserved the first level of sub-folders (I have up to 3 levels). If I right-click on my email account in Thunderbird and choose Subscribe, I can still see the sub-folder structure there. Is there any way I can restore it so that it (a) shows the full collection of sub- and sub-sub folders in the tree; and (b) locates the correct emails in each sub-folder? If not, I face days of work to recreate sub-folders and move emails to their correct location. Thanks for any help!

I have imported a public key in my openpgp key-management/ In my settings of the end -to-end keys: preference of key technology: choose auto the key technology by the available keys. I have read openpgp standard supports inline en s/mime encryption but what is used by thunderbird when I choose openpgp as key encryption when i type/send an email (w/o attachment by myself). I ask it because my correspondent only decrypts inline encryption.

The latest version of Thunderbird changed the top menu, and I see a "Get Messages" button, but can't find "Send Unsent Messages" as a function anywhere. I've tried customizing the menu, and I've looked through older help discussions for any ideas, and I've prowled through the settings menus and can't seem to find it. I've also tried right-clicking on things - no joy. I have a message waiting to go out in the Outbox, but no way to send it except Redirect.
