So I recently switched my mobile browser to firefox, but I can't get the passwords to synch completely.

Settings on desktop and mobile firefox both have password synch enbled. But the saved passwords I can access on mobile is significantly lower than the passwords I have on desktop.

I'm not too sure if this is related but more than half or majority of my desktop firefox passwords were imported from chrome. I'm not too sure if the passwords that are not synching to mobile, if they were the ones imported from chrome. I switched from firefox to chrome to firefox again so it's hard to tell.

Few days ago I downloaded something, but canceled it from the notification. Now a notification with the headline "Downloads" and the file name below keeps popping up every half an hour or so, when Firfox is closed or in the background. I can't click on it and restart it.

in any other open tab, auto-hide addressbar/toolbar properly goes into hiding as soon as i begin scrolling, portrait or landscape.

ONLY IN AN ABOUT:CONFIG TAB, auto-hide addressbar/toolbar requires that i 1) scroll all the way to end of page and then 2) vigorously & multiply scroll down, through the stuck bar. any upward scroll & i have to start from scratch. portrait & landscape.

this Android alpha cancer has metastacized to Android beta. danged annoying.

please fix this bug & don't regress it back in.

I have synced my android tablet to my linux pc, but when i try to open the desktop bookmarks folder, I get a message saying I can't edit default folders. I know it's synced, because when I search bookmarks for a bookmark that I know to be on my pc, it comes up. The problem is that the folder will not open.

I have tried reinstalling. I don't know what else to try.

In Samsung Galaxy M23 5G smartphone (SM-M236B/DS) with Android 14 and Firefox 123.1.0 when I go to https://translate.google.com and insert a phrase, for example "I want a table" (you can try any words you want, single word or phrase) I hear the words distorted. This is happening after about 3 or 4 times or more tries when I hit the little speaker icon and waiting to finish the vocal pronunciation each time. I can't remember if this happened in earlier versions of Firefox for Android. I installed most of known browsers for Android (Opera, Edge, Vivaldi, Brave) and none has this problem, even the Samsung browser. I installed other versions of Firefox for Android (Focus, Beta for testers, Nightly for Developers) and all of them have the same problem. Also, I uninstalled and installed the original Firefox and I did restart of smartphone and also I connected bluetooth headphones but same problem. Maybe you will not hear the distortion in that smartphone above and android 14 combination with the first try but you will hear it in next tries. I don't know if this is happening in other Samsung SMARTPHONES. When using Paypal I keep getting warnings from Firefox that it is an unsafe site. What steps can I take to make Paypal safe and stop getting the warnings? I've looked in the settings area but can't find what might relate to making a site safe.

On my S24 when I use Firefox the screen starts flickering and it's impossible to navigate. Only fix is to restart the phone. Online there are lot of users of the S24 series that complaints about this issue. Can you please provide a fix? Or I will have to find an alternative for Firefox

I have Avast premium security on my Android Motorola G6. Every time I open Firefox this malicious website tries to open! I deleted my history and it still comes back. Also when I'm not using the Firefox browser it still tries to open! Once I open the browser sometimes there are as many as seven or more attempts by this page to open! I use Firefox with Video Background Play Fix. It worked properly on my old phone, but doesn't work on my current phone. Playing unexpectedly stops sometimes, usually when I launch another app, but sometimes in my pocket.

I tried to add to about:config (in firefox nigtly) browser.tabs.unloadOnLowMemory = false . There is no such option in current version. I tried to add manually, but it didn't help.

Hi running latest firefox for Android on Pixel6a. Whenever I full screen a video, it minimizes Firefox and I'm back at my phone's home screen. After this happens I'll reopen Firefox and full screen the video it will work properly.
