Dear team, 1) thanks for your work! 2) I can observe a quite important problem which could make me uninstall the app. Mozilla is now draining much power, even while not using it (e.g. at night where I can monitor the problem). I can observe that since I switched to a pixel 8 phone. (Which has itself a poor living battery). The phone can hardly survive a day and a night without being charged. And when charged on everything. It can loose up to 30% battery until the morning. Another phone could be 5%. What really strange is android show me that during that period of time Mozilla was responsible for 90% of this leakage. I had sync enabled.(Tabs, history and bookmarks) I removed it, but the leaked percentage of Mozilla at night stays around 70%.

When not in fullscreen, visualViewport updates correctly. However in fullscreen mode visualViewport remains fixed and never changes. Is this a bug? It's creating an issue for my webapp which has a fixed text entry element at the bottom of the fullscreen element. I have to detect the visualviewport changing when the keyboard shows otherwise it is completely obscured. Please assist me.

hello. I am a user who uses Firefox 123 in Android 14.

There is a problem with writing posts based on HTML editors on the site I usually use.

The editor is in the form of Wysiwyg, and if the image is inserted through the editor, it is impossible to continue to enter the text after the element.

Even if I try to touch the right side of the image and keep input from the right side of the image, the cursor(blinking '|') refuse to go back to the image.

Can I solve this problem? If I need About:config settings, I'm willing to use Firefox beta or nightly.

All video players on websites will, if viewed in full screen, close the firefox app on my android device. The app gets minimized and can be opened back, but all pages become bugged then and appear in half the page only, links cannot be copied either, the page will only work partially when my phone is held horizontally. This issue happens with or without auto-rotate enabled. The bug most often happens as soon as I set a video on full-screen, but can happen while the video is playing also. I tried disabling all of my add-ons and the bug still persists(I will attach a photo of my addon list). Here is a video of the bug after the app closed and I reopened it.

Sometimes, when I type a search query or a page address and hit enter, nothing happens, the keyboard is closed and nothing more happens - a blank page - no loading or anything (the same applies when you try to type a page URL).

I use the latest Firefox (124) on Sony Xperia 5IV.

I could attach a video but unfortunately only images are supported.

When I scroll some pages in Firefox mobile, there are some graphic artifacts and glitches, especially when elements are moving. I tried this site on different browser (chrome), there are no problems.

When I try to use the share menu, it's not functioning and blank of options to select.

I used to be able to restart FF and it would restore the menu. Lately, not only does restarting lose my most recent tabs but it also fails to restore the share menu.

I REALLY need to be able to consistently save tabs to my reading app and Google Keep as a part of my daily PKMS processes.

FYI (and Unrelated) the share menu's Print does function (brings up printing screen) but Print to PDF just hangs in a neverending download process. This also happens when attempting to download certain .ics files from Gmail. Might be related, might not be.

When the share options are available, it works as intended.

Hi! I been using youtube through firefox on my phone for awhile now. Mostly since it allows me to play the video when the screen is off.

I have now swapped phone to a HTC U23 Pro. After the change everytime that i look at a video now it stutters a lot. No matter the network connection.

On my old Samsung A71 it still works fine.

It works fine in the youtube app or through grayjay.

Have removed every add on i have and resinstalled firefox but the issue is the same.

Any tips on what i can do to fix it?

I use Firefox on at least three different devices, and my Firefox account is linked on all these devises. And I have a huge amount of bookmarks, and almost daily create new bookmarks, as well as store links into existing bookmarks on my Linux Laptop. The problem is that when I then later use my Android smart phone or my Android Samsung Tablet, the bookmarks are not reflected in the same user friendly fashion as it was created or seen on my Linux Laptop. So much so that it is extremely user unfriendly and nearly impossible to store a link into an existing bookmark or to create a new sub-bookmark into an existing bookmark - also because the bookmarks can not be collapsed or navigated as easily as on my main device, which is the Linux Laptop. I need Firefox to reflect my bookmarks in exactly the same fashion and same order as I create them, and I need the bookmarks be be collapsable and navigable. I really want to use Firefox, but this disability forces me to now use Chrome, and I do not want that. Please fix the bookmarks in Firefox. I just started using Firefox for Android, as a workaround to the problems I'm having with playing my YouTube playlists.

But, I'm having several problems in Firefox for Android.

1. Playlists (the actual lists of videos) cover the video that's currently playing. My workaround to this is to play in full screen mode, but that brings up problem

2. Full screen videos automatically switch to landscape orientation, despite system settings, with no apparent way to switch back to portrait orientation without also exiting full screen mode. I've tried rotating my phone with auto rotate on/off; neither setting has any affect on the orientation.

What's extremely frustrating about this is that any workaround is actually a workaround to a workaround to a workaround; it's workaroundception.

What I really really want is to be able to simply play my playlist/listen to it without having to jump through hoops and without having to burn through data like a bonfire burns through sticks.

IMO, the best solution would be to download the entire playlist:

...in one go, and stick it on an mp3 player like it's 2009. So far, the only YouTube to mp3 sites I've found only download individual videos; not whole playlists. (And that's not really a Mozilla issue anyway; the Mozilla issues are the unwanted rotation and the video stack covering up the currently playing video.)

After installing a shortcut to a website that stages as an app through the Firefox Android app (Samsung 6.0, Android 14) when using said shortcut, if entering any text box the keyboard will pop up and rapidly close and open, making it unable to use. This problem happens on any text box, and with any keyboard. I'll attach a youtube link of a screen recording as well as a gif, though it's rather difficult to see the entire problem through a gif. For several months, whenever I need something auto filled, the only thing that pops up is a button that reads "Unlock Firefox" instead of the appropriate saved info. This button does nothing when tapped and when held down, there is tactile click, but then nothing.

Hi, I have a problem with my firefox app. Everytime I play or skip a port of a video, it plays stuttering and return normal only If I rewind some second (if I pause it nothing change). Anyone knows why? Is there some way to solve this problem? I have deleted every data, cookies etc, every add-on and reinstalled the app but nothing changed. I also formatted every setting of my device but same result. Oh, also, this problem don't happen with other apps like gallery or chrome. It stutters even if I have just Firefox opened video

I use the Firefox app for Android on a regular basis.

For a long time I have found one unpleasant problem with tabs, when I open a new tab and notice that the remaining 107 old tabs are open, I cannot close all tabs except the current one. I can close all tabs, but the current one will close too. Sometimes I have to look for a link in the browsing history after that, it can takes several minutes. It would be convenient, in addition to the inactive tabs section, to be able to simply close everything except the current one.

Maybe there is already such a function without using third-party mods on Firefox?

I cannot share a tab from my phone to my tablet or vice versa. I can send tabs to my desktop computers, and my desktop computers can send tabs to my phone, but for some reason Firefox Sync thinks that my phone and my tablet are the same device.

Curiously, when I go into my Firefox account settings and change the name of my browser on each device, as soon as I sync, the names are swapped. Specifically, I named Firefox on my phone "S23 Ultra". When I checked the settings on my tablet, it showed that that was also the name of Firefox there, too. So I changed the name of it on my tablet to "Tab S8+". As soon as I hit "Sync Now," my phone changed to "Tab S8+". And when I changed my phone back to "S23 Ultra," as soon as I synced my tablet, that became the name of my tablet browser, too.
