The browser stopped working since last week. Before when i opened the browser, i can see it loading. But nowadays, the loading is gone and only black screen is left. I cannot even access add-on. Its just loading

I'm on Android 11, Oxygen 11.0.13.BE.89BA

Whenever I open up Firefox and enter a website or a google search nothing happens.

No loading screen, no crash, just nothing.

Uninstalling it and reinstalling it works once, but then the second time I open Firefox I'm back to the same issue.

Google Chrome works just fine, and I'm not having any issues related to data or wifi.

Within the last couple days at least, firefox just does not load any sites on the phone. They simply show an empty page. Chrome will load the same site under the same network conditions.

I can't get any sites to load in my Firefox app since the update to 114.2. I have cleared my cache, forced a stop, and done everything else that's ever worked in the past short of uninstalling and reinstalling. It looks like 114.2 was supposed to fix this issue in older versions, but I'm still having issues.

Periodically, the following bug occurs on different phones. I also found it in complaints on google play and I will take the text from there (you do not give a solution to the problem), but I will provide my screenshots. This is not the first time this issue has occurred, on various phones in my family. "I tried using it again, and EVERY website I try to access doesn't load. It just shows a gray screen and the lock in the URL bar is in the "connection is not secure" graphic. I can't even access about :config because it's also just a gray screen.HOWEVER, every other browser on my phone works." It helps to solve problems only by completely deleting all firefox files and then setting it up from scratch. It is unpleasant. I'm having trouble with Firefox on my mobile device. It was working fine yesterday but won't access the internet now. It runs but won't connect. All other programs on my device access it as always. Could I have unknowingly disabled it? I've made no changes to any of my settings for months. I don't want to lose the info it has acquired by reinstalling. Can you please help?

Whenever I try to install and use Progressive Web Apps (most recently WefWef for Lemmy) I find they are unresponsive, and run at what feels like 30fps (possibly lower). I tried using PWAs with Chrome and find they run perfectly. Is there any way to fix this issue?

2 days ago and now nothing will load at all I reinstalled and tried to get in about:config but that also won't load. I am on a OnePlus Nord running Android version 11, oxygen OS 11.1.10.10.AC01BA

While browsing Amazon.com using the past several builds of the Nightly for Android, I get this most annoying bouncing pop-up tip that is a yellowish with black font saying to click on this heart icon to save the product. I have never seen this on any other browser for Android, and never on my Firefox on my laptop or desktop. Is there anyway to get rid of it? I cannot stand this and I have almost thrown my phone because of it many times. I have never thrown a phone before. I cannot explain why, but it pisses me off so very much!

Firefox rejects ALL service requests. Left on address line is a "human being symbol" with red backslash bar over it. How to recover?

(When problem appeared I have not touched any settings. Phone power off/on does not help.)

Since the latest update 114.2 I cannot get Firefox to work properly on my Samsung phone. I have Version 8 of android operating system on the phone. When I attempt to search I just get a blank screen. In the web address box it just has an icon with a line through it and the web address. Refuses to display website. Doesn’t let me change from private browsing to regular browsing. Nothing I do seems to have any effect. Yes, I know I have an older phone but it was fine until this update.

I saw a similar problem and the user said thus 114.2 fixed the problem. Well, it broke mine. Please advise how to correct this problem. Thanks.

I am not on my phone. So the operating system info gathered is not from the system I use on my phone.

Hello. My Firefox for Android shows only blank pages on my Samsung A53 5G. Last month I had the same issue but an update was available immediately and it fixed the issue. Does anyone have the same issue? Thank you.

It happen since yesterday. When I open any tabs I choose in the app, it doesn't load, and only shows a blank grey page. I can't even refresh these pages. In fact, on every tab I go to, the results will be the same. Is this a bug? If so, please solve it.

I'm not really sure when this problem started, but since yesterday (05/07) I noticed that I am unable to open any website, even the google.com main site is not opening using Firefox for Android.

I use it as my default browser, so I really would like to be able to use it again as before.

I haven't tried to remove and reinstall it, but I will do it, just to be sure.

I own a Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 and Samsung Galaxy A42 5G. Neither of these devices has the monospace font Courier New installed. However, when using Chrome, text boxes on websites that use Courier New are displayed in a different monospace font (which I've been unable to identify). On Firefox, they are not. This breaks the appearance of some websites which rely on text being monospaced but don't include "monospace" in their CSS font family.

The obvious fix is to simply install Courier New on the phone and tablet, which I'm working on doing (update: this is much harder than it should be). However, I think Chrome displaying a different monospaced font when the requested monospaced font is unavailable is a good user experience feature, and would like to see it mirrored in Firefox.

To sum it up, I have this issue where opening the app to the homepage and searching something or going to a website will result in the page taking up to 10-15 seconds to fully load. What is weird, though, is that it will not do this if I open another tab and search something. Same thing if I fully close the tab and leave the app, but I go right back into the app to search something, almost like this issue also doesn't happen if I had recently used the app. The second I don't use it for a while, though, the problem happens again. Is there a fix for this? I've tried force stopping the app, clearing the cache, and uninstalling/reinstalling, but it still happens. I checked my internet speed, and everything is fine on there. I also checked how fast other apps load, and they load normally. What is going on? This is very frustrating.

I am using the Firefox browser on my Gs23, and it hangs all the time and needs a restart. It also has frame drops,while scrolling on websites I have checked it on other browsers and the frames are not dropped.
