Looked on Google Play for Firefox, wanting to download it onto a Acer Chromebook

There were several versions, and I selected the one the felt right. I now try to adjust settings (esp Zoom), and this version doesn't provide that option. Need it for vision-impaired wife that will be primary user on this device.

I pull up support and the title of the page says Firefox for Android.

So, first, is That the version that should be used on Chromebook?

None of the usual settings appear (incl Zoom), or uninstall for that matter. (so I can't uninstall to start over, looking closer at which version I download).

When I try to download a video with the same name as a previously downloaded video, it used to rename the new download e.g. "Best Fps Compilation". It would rename the new video "Best Fps Compilation(1)". However, now it replaces the already dowloaded video. Is it possible to fix this. I have everything it seems.

A long time ago it was possible to tap and hold on an image while browsing images and just download them. Now I only have the option to "share" or "visit site". It is very frustrating because I know in other browsers it is still possible to do it, it's a mozilla limitation, not a google limitation. I'm tired of having to visit sites to download images, especially since some sites require you to create an account to use them.

I get a message that Firefox has been installed, but I can't find it. Shouldn't I see a new app icon? Maybe I just don't know how to get started. The model number is officially this: Model# SM-F711UZGAVZW

FF 102's problems are deal killers for me. My dozens of Collections are gone, for one thing. The monetization is clumsy and greedy. Can I uninstall and reinstall v.101? Had it just a couple of days ago.

'useless after improvements' is a Microsoft thing. It's why people stopped using IE. It's why I just d/l Opera- ready to go if I can't get FF 101.

I have seen directions on this site on how to update FireFox but I can never seem to get to the 'about page'. I know it has to be simple, but it really does seem to be missing from Help link. I am pretty be sure this is operator error.

The main reason for this is it that I regularly get notices that my Firefox Browser is out of date/needs updating. I have had the auto update switch turned on, I tried to find the page with it off, most recently.

I just update Firefox on my Samsung Tablet, and it was a terrible mistake. Not only did it lose all of my bookmarks, but now I can't open separate tabs. Yes, it SAYS it still allows tabs, but be real - if I can just click on it, it's not a 'tab' it's another window. I use tabs precisely because I don't want to spent my valuable time hunting for the window I need.

I tried several ways to downgrade, and none of them worked. Can someone please help me revert to the last version of Firefox that had real tabs, not this stupid 'Tab Tray'? I'm pretty sure the the book marks issue is hopeless, since I have no interest in syncing my computer and my tablet, but an suggestions on that would be welcome too.

My account shows no bookmarks. On phone 1, I have several collections, no bookmarks. On phone 2 I have nothing. How do I get the links (from my collections) on phone 1 to transfer to phone 2? When I sync nothing happens (I understand collections don't sync). I would expect all my links would sync as bookmarks. They don't.

What's the fix?

Do I need to click each phone 1 link, add to bookmarks, sync, then manually recreate collections on phone 2? Collections is a totally useless feature if you can't sync them (yeah, I read elsewhere that Firefox may add syncing in the future

Hello, I have a VPN subscription that allows me to connect up to 5 devices. I will like to install it on my Android phone but I am not in the UK at the moment so the Play Store is giving me the message "This item isn't available in your country".

How can I install the app whilst abroad?
