Firefox just updated a few days ago, the 7th of August and I can no longer long press to get the safe image or download option at all. I have a 2021 Motorola edge. I never used to have this problem and I redownloaded Firefox with no avail. Please help.

So I got directed here after leaving an unfavourable review due to an ongoing issue that google had no answers for. The screenshot should show the problem. I don't not know what causes it, only that it feels random when it breaks. Cashe/data clearing doesn't help, only a full reinstall seems to fix it, but this gets annoying pretty quick. The issue is search boxes on websites become black, and the text looks weird. The only add-on I use is UBlock, and when I left the review, the app broke after just an hour after being reinstalled, before I even installed UBlock.

My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S20Ultra if that helps, though I'm due for an update, and haven't had the time to sort it.

I am on firefox android. Currently whenever I try to download a file there's a good chance that it fails (like 70%). If the download on a file fails then itll always fail. I have tried clearing cache, disabling all the add ons, enabling external download manager and altering enhanced tracking protection level but nothing works. The only way to "fix" it is by uninstalling but it only solves the issues temporarily. After a certain number of downloads (still uncertain on the number) it goes back to failling. It's incredibly inconvenient to have to do that every 1-2days because it resets all my cookies and I have to relog on all my websites. I have like 30gb on my storage so it couldnt be that. Please any suggestion would be helpful, I feel like I have tried everything at this point. Android version 13 Using the latest version of firefox

I just got a new phone (Pixel 7a) and embedded videos have closed captions enabled by default in Firefox. Even if I turn them off while watching one video, they'll be back on the next video. I want them to just be off by default. It's not an Android setting as far as I can tell - I have all live captioning turned off and the video player isn't showing captions when I use Chrome to watch the same videos. I am browsing the site, https://catalog.workshops.aws/eks-immersionday/en-US Each page has a next button at the bottom of it. Whenever I tap on it. It's difficult to navigate the website because the last link opens the privacy policy page rather than moving on as it should. The identical webpage functions well in other Android browsers.

Whenever I enter fullscreen mode, the entire app minimizes itself and starts playing audio in the background. I have to reopen the app and reenter fullscreen in order to actually use fullscreen and it is extremely frustrating. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Install often does not work nearly as well as the web page. For example, spelling bee "installed" on my Samsung tab A7, has difficulty accepting taps. Only about 1 in 3 taps will register a letter. On my brand new Pixel 7A, the spelling bee app is not in dark mode, even though it is in the browser. And my entire phone is dark mode. Also, I can't click on the share or overflow menus. Installing the New York times games page has the same problems. And last, on my pixel 7a, the USGS earthquakes app jumps around all over the place making it useless. It would be nice to have both options, "install" and "add to home screen" in case the install fails.

Hello, since the 2 last updates, i lost the ability to see the menu on side of video playing window. Usually it's the list of episodes i'm watching next to the player. It changed since prior last update i've done. Do you know how to change to previous settings please? It render small screen, full screen exactly the same size more or less. My pixel 5 still has the bug that Mozilla claims they fixed where if you rotate the screen of a video to landscape then it will send the app to the background or will not fully rotate and more the half the screen will be cut off. Will this ever be addressed? It's been months now.

The only 'fix' seems clicking on the app and sending it to the background over and over.

Every time I open Firefox there is 1 to 10 or web pages loaded that I did not load before closing Firefox. This was happening on Chrome web page so I deleted or uninstalled it. I only use Firefox because any program I use will work with it, without any problems. How do I stop this from happening? These appear to be spam sites. Thank you Timothy

The bug is when I am browsing website like a payment page, when I switching between the apps and return to payment page, the firefox will refreshing the page automatically and payment will get fail error.

Xiaomi 12, when reading a webpage in Firefox scrolling with the finger every 3-4 times the page does not scroll. Instead the address bar at the bottom pops. Lifting the finger and scrolling again makes the page scroll. This problems repeats.

Help would be appreciated because it is very annoying

Firefox Android just crashed when opening a bunch of bookmarks and then again every time I wanted to report a crash. I hope someone here can forward this to whoever usually receives the crash reports.
