Apparently Firefox mobile is different than desktop. On an Android phone I want to import my chromebookmarks into Firefox? I could not find an article on how to do it but yet found other people struggling and asking the same question.

in which file does Firefox Nightly save the bookmarks? And why is it still not possibly after so many years, to export them easily as a file?

Hello A little while ago I noticed that my bookmarks from this accound disappeared. I didn't deleted them. In fact I haven't done anything with them for years. But they are precious to me and I would like to ask if you have copy of them or could you bring them back on my account by any chance? (There were lots of them. I use to keep Bookmarks until I specially deleted them. As Bookmarks they stayed. Now when I do automatic search daily delation, the Bookmarks are also removed! I am not an EE but is there some easy way to separate these 2 so I can keep Bookmarks yet delete Search History? Thank you. A Bookmark to me is not permanent or ephemeral but totally under my control like on a book I put back on the self. What is a Bookmarks to Mozilla Firefox?

the story here is I had my OS drive on my desktop completely fail, wouldn't write, wouldn't read, didn't have anything too important just games EXCEPT for the backups to my bookmarks, i got a new drive and installed firefox. when i logged in, my bookmarks weren't there and it synced with my mobile firefox and the bookmarks that i had before my OS drive failed on my phone also disappeared, Im just wondering if firefox mobile has backups of bookmarks and if It does how do I replace these backups on my mobile and if possible use the backups on mobile to fix my bookmarks on my pc.

I cannot get Firefox to sync my bookmarks to to my new android. Other things are syncing so I know sync is working it just will not sync the bookmarks. I have tried everything. I have checked my sync settings a dozen times. I've signed out and signed back in on both devices. I have even uninstalled on both devices while signed out and reinstalled and still I cannot get the bookmarks on my phone. Please help! It's a Galaxy s21 and I am on windows 10

Been two years or more since this was aked it seems.... How to get bookmarks to save and display (and bookmarks bar to show) in Android version (i.e. had there been updates such to make it work)?

Hi, When any other app in my device uses the browser to open a tab instance within the said app itself, there is no option to add to bookmarks. The only options available are - 1. To move back and forward 2. Reload the page 3. Open in Firefox 4. A toggle for the Desktop site I personally add a lot of such links to my bookmarks for further reading and it would be a huge help if an option of "Add to bookmarks" could be added to the options there. Google Chrome has an implementation of what I'm talking about and you could just look to that for inspiration.

Firefox Sync loaded all of my Bookmarks 4 times so I have this huge list of bookmarks. I want to delete them all and start over. How do I do this without doing it one by one? Also, is there a way to open bookmarks straight from the menu instead of going through several menus to get there.

The year is 2023, still no import function for bookmarks from a different browser on Android phones?

Should I just give up on Mozilla Firefox and use something else??

First off it set the search bar and menu at the bottom of the screen and I didn't know how to change that. Then I couldn't sync with all my account passwords and bookmarks previously saved on other apps. I had to delete the app because the idea of privacy is great and all but I need to get access to my preferred websites and accounts easily. If you can provide an easy fix I will give the app another try.

I have installed firefox on my Samsung S 6 tablet (bought 2022). I can't get Firefox to show a task bar (or bookmarks menu - but the bookmarks do exist from sync) and I can't add in 1password. I synced with my desktop (where firefox and 1 password work perfectly well) and tried everything I can from online suggestions - but either they haven't worked or some of the settings they refer to don't exist in the Android version of firefox. 1 Password - which is also installed on the device - does not show up in the list of add ons accessed via the Firefox 3-dot menu; and doesn't show up either if 1 password is open or closed . I've wasted hours on this and getting nowhere. Any help would be appreciated
