Firefox is my GoTo browser. I appreciate that it is open source and respects privacy and security.

Right now I am struggling with release 126.0 on a Lenovo tablet running Android 13. My issue is the use and access to bookmarks. Unlike previous versions of Firefox there seems to be no way to get a bookmarks toolbar. That was a helpful feature in previous versions. And favorites are not as clean. My hope is that Mozilla will return to a bookmark toolbar.

i like firefox on my cell phone as well as on my pc, but i encounter a problem on my tablet. The screen is big enough that I could display my bookmarks bar permanently (as well as tabs). if I want to look up several things quickly, which would certainly be possible with my tablet with keyboard and mouse, I can't even do that because I can't open the bookmarks that quickly.

however, i can understand that this is not permanently implemented, but i would like to have a customization option via on/off in the settings and while we are on the subject, an option to switch tabs on/off like on the desktop like the page marker permanently on desktop mode would be really nice.

of course it could be that these options already exist, then it would be that i am too stupid to find them because i really couldn't imagine that they don't exist and have already rummaged through all the options.

Why are basic features like editing bookmarks not in the app. On chrome you are able to click and hold on a bookmark to select it, then click and hold on it again to move it anywhere you'd like in the folder. Also there is no "move to" option on Firefox which would make sorting much easier, it would be nice to have such a simple feature like this for convenience.

On my Tablet, the Bookmarks have decided to split into two folders :Bookmarks and Other Bookmarks. Not what I want. Is there any way that I can get them to combine to just Bookmarks?

I have made Firefox my default browser and am attempting to import my bookmarks from my AVG browser. However, when the choice menu appears, all browsers are shown except AVG. Any help appreciated. TIA.

I am writing to inquire about the possibility of searching and organizing bookmarks on the Android app using tags. I have recently organized years of Firefox bookmarks on the desktop app by tagging my bookmarks and removing them from folders. I would very much benefit from being able to use a tag-based workflow on mobile as I do on desktop. I notice this question was first raised about 10 years ago. I would like to know if there are any updates, or if perhaps there is an add-on that can fill this gap. Thank you!

Mam dużo otwartych kart. Po zamknięciu kilku kart, gdy wyjdę z aplikacji (zminimalizuje ją) i wejdę ponownie karty które zamknąłem nadal są otwarte. Tak jakby otwierają się na nowo. This solution does not work. Firefox on Android will display a "Did you use the system camera? You must pair from within the Firefox app." when selecting the QR scanner from the dialogue box in Firefox. The option is still missing in the menu as well.

Home screen might be considered a specialized bookmark I suppose but the categories don't directly apply above. Browsers for decades have allowed a custom Url to be entered or "use current page" as home screen. I can find no option under firefox settings for Android enter it. What's the trick?

I picked last tab but that isn't the same as a fixed URL such as my bank website or Facebook page I would always want to see first.

I signed into my Firefox account on my android device expecting to be able to access the bookmarks in my bookmarks bar. I cannot find those bookmarks in the android app. All I see are Desktop bookmarks Anyone know how to access bookmarks in bookmark bar?

I use Firefox on at least three different devices, and my Firefox account is linked on all these devises. And I have a huge amount of bookmarks, and almost daily create new bookmarks, as well as store links into existing bookmarks on my Linux Laptop. The problem is that when I then later use my Android smart phone or my Android Samsung Tablet, the bookmarks are not reflected in the same user friendly fashion as it was created or seen on my Linux Laptop. So much so that it is extremely user unfriendly and nearly impossible to store a link into an existing bookmark or to create a new sub-bookmark into an existing bookmark - also because the bookmarks can not be collapsed or navigated as easily as on my main device, which is the Linux Laptop. I need Firefox to reflect my bookmarks in exactly the same fashion and same order as I create them, and I need the bookmarks be be collapsable and navigable. I really want to use Firefox, but this disability forces me to now use Chrome, and I do not want that. Please fix the bookmarks in Firefox.
