I-Firefox iOS Isithangami Sokwesekwa

If I hit reply to an email the window that opens for me to type in the reply message is pinned in place on my desktop---and I can't move it as I can all other windows including the original email. This blocks everything under the reply window. Any ideas on what I should do? Already deleted and reloaded the email app ken

i’m not sure how to explain this. on only one site (arstechnica.com) the page displays odd coloring and freezes if sorted by votes, and as of today, if selecting the next page. it’s truly bizarre. other browsers don’t do this, only ff. i prefer ff though and would appreciate your help, thank you.

I am regularly getting crashes on Firefox When browsing using my iPhone 12 mini running on iOS 16. As soon as there is any sort of ‘heavier’ task, such as loading a PDF or browsing an online news site with loads of ads, the whole browser just freezes up and I can’t do anything unless I force close the browser via the multitasker.

It is happening multiple times per day.

What information can I provide to you to help troubleshoot this issue?

this happened only on my m1 iPad. firefox on my iPhone doesn't have this problem. 1.suddenly freezes up. need to relaunch the app. 2.sometimes lags and stutters when scrolling, switch tabs, and open settings. 3.sometimes it outright crashes after a very bad stuttering. this happened even when i only have couple of tabs opening.

i had tried everything i can think of with no success. 1.clear all browsing data. 2.delete and redownload the app(+delete firefox's folder in files app). 3.update iOS(both security patches and to next version).

the only thing i haven't tried is too factory reset the iPad. which i hope to avoid.

Since a week of 2 Firefox freezes when I type text in the address bar. After some time the text I typed start appearing. Also websites loading are sometimes freezing. Switching to another app on the iPad makes Firefox unfreeze. However need to use the reload function. Version Firefox 106.2 (21661) iPad Pro (11-inch) iOS 15.7 I removed Firefox, rebooted the iPad and reinstalled Firefox. That shortly seem to help, but now same issues apparent.

I have been using Firefox on ios for a long time and recently have started to notice a couple of frustrating issues-

• When I try to click on the menu while the site is scrolling, the app freezes and the menu sometimes opens after several seconds.
• Refreshing the facebook page sometimes shows a login page even though I am logged in. If I just refresh the page without entry credentials, it takes me to the news feed. Happened for linkedin as well.

I’m using the latest version of the app and latest version of ios 16 Request you to please provide steps to resolve this (any settings change on phone or app)

After the most recent update to version 106.1 on my iPhone 11 iOS 15.6.1, every time I open Firefox and open a new tab the browser is unresponsive for several seconds, then slowly registers my input in the search bar, and occasionally crashes during that process. It also hangs up and crashes at random. It will no longer open links to PDF files. I love Firefox, but this is becoming unusable.

Webpage freezes randomly recently. Need to close the app manually every time and restart all the searches or type the website afterwards. Please fix the problem. I am using the most updated version of firefox in IOS.

Have never been encountered this problem before.

Hello Since the release of 116 for iPhone, my iPhone 8 freezes. I have to switch the phone off and reboot it. Only for it to occur a few minutes later. I know from the comments on the App Store that I’m not the only one.

I’m running iOS 16.6, with around 21GB of free space.

Thanks for your prompt attention. I’m having to use the G**gle app to get round this problem, which doesn’t sit well with me.

When using Firefox on an iPhone 13 mini it keeps locking up stuck on a web page and nothing will clear it unless I reboot the iPhone the all ok it’s so bad now I can’t use Firefox as my default browser

I’m having a issue with the app on iOS where sometimes if I leave the app to do other things then return to the app later on it will be frozen. Sometimes I can open the keyboard and type but nothing happens. I also can’t scroll web pages and the app doesn’t come back alive. Instead I have to force close it.

I've had this problem of on my iPhone 14 Mac Firefox (now v113.2 where )tabs are taking long to delete and they freeze once I try to. After waiting awhile, anywhere up to 30 seconds or more, they either finally delete, but still slow or the app crashes and that seems to make the deletions fast, like they originally used to be. I've seen that other people seem to have this problem and I just wondered if a solution for this has finally been found?

Hello, I get the 500 Error screen when trying to sync Firefox on my phone. When trying both scan or email. ( I had to erase the app after having signed out, to try and fix a bug. The app kept freezing) Can't seem to find any help from Firefox's... elaborated support system. I'm probably dumb. But I don't have any more time for that. And I can't speak with anyone anywhere apparently.

Waiting for a potential answer here, or switching back to Safari in 24h.

I posted a review on the iOS market and received an email asking to post on this forum.

Firefox freezes several times an hour. It crashes every three hours. I installed the Adblock Pro extension (free version). Maybe it’s related but I have not noticed anything related to the extension. Safari doesn’t crash and uses the same extension.

The only point to use Firefox on iOS is the password manager and dark mode. Printing is inferior because it forces pagination.

In the last few weeks, despite regular updates Firefox constantly crashes, freezes, or works very slowly compared to my previous experience.

What to do?
