I-Firefox iOS Isithangami Sokwesekwa

For the past three days every time I initially open Firefox on my iPhone, I get a page that pops up. I'm assuming asking me if I want to switch my Firefox to a different language. I can't really tell what it's asking because it's in a different language. How do I stop this from happening? It is extremely annoying.

If I install Firefox 124.0, will I have an opportunity to change the default tab order setting to "Tab Order" instead of "Recently Opened" before the browser messes up the order of my 100s of open tabs?

Recently on my iPad and iPhone, clicking valid links in either my browser (Firefox) or e-mail (Outlook), a new tab will open to the “about:blank” page, and nothing more.

Hello. I was told viaApp Store review to come here and describe my issue. So I was hoping to upload my video to better show off what I am having major issues with. Unfortunately I cannot. So I'll settle with uploading the screencaps of what I see Everytime I go to a different tab in my plethora of tabs open.

The best way I can describe it is that I jump around tabs when I focus in on one, even if it's brief. And it's annoying to find out where I left off Especially when I open a new tab in the background. No other browser does that and if they did, it's been long fixed already.

So starting from the Homepage, I scroll up a bit to open up the next screenshot of Otakon. Once I go back to the tab page, I jump to a different area entirely, the last tab no where to be found but still present. So I then scroll up more to the definition of 'ambition' and then go back to the tab page. Now I'm back to where the Otakon tab was at. It's just lots of that using the browser and it's annoying especially if I'm doing a little shopping.

Since updating to 123.4 it frequently happens that I tap a link in a website and it loads about:blank and won’t stop doing that until I force quit Firefox and restart it

When firefox updated all of a sudden when I go to youtube sound will not play. My music has sound, when I go to chrome and safari youtube has sound. I have done everything in your help section (Not blocking - allowing audio on all websites etc), clearing cache and cookies and restarting - still no audio

Sooo I had tens of tabs open, with intention to keep them - I couldn't find an option to save all of them, so decided to update the app, just in case FF caught up with some functionalities I've seen in my other browsers - bookmarking all tabs, namely.

After I've updated, all my open tabs are gone and "recently closed" is empty. There's no way to have the tabs back.

I don't expect there's a way to solve this problem, but I'm posting it here just in case, and at the same time marking my segue to Safari.

Why does the app force me into a new tab every time I leave the app and come back!?! Even for a moment. It’s messed up two things I’ve been working on now. How do I set it to behave like a normal browser and open to the page I was on when I left..?

For the last month photos on my browser won’t open photos. I checked my setting and show photos tab was off which was weird so I turned it on then I was able to see photos but when I closed that tab opened a new tab it went back to no show. Totally Killer loves my Zilla

Recently on my older iPad (5th generation) whenever I do an image search and click on a highlighted image (any highlighted image) or the corresponding thumbnail link, doing so always and only results in a blank page. If however, I choose the option to open the image in a new tab, then and only then does the search go to the desired site. All the other search options seem to work fine.

I have cleared my caches and deleted my histories to no avail. Removing and reinstalling Firefox did not help. Rebooting didn’t do it either. Have I caught a malware that my antivirus protection has failed to detect? Is it a bug in the app?

I’m stumped.

All my inactive tabs on Firefox iOS are unable to be opened, whenever I tap on them the page won’t load and I can’t even copy the url from the search bar since there’s nothing there, and half the time the app crashes too whenever I’m on one of the inactive tabs.

I also can’t use the hamburger menu to copy the link or send to another device, and though the tab thumbnail is saved in the cache the page itself refuses to load.

Is there a way to bring them back? I’m running the latest version of the app and iOS.

I've done a bit of searching and I'm surprised nobody else seems to be discussing this issue.

It appears to be related to the fact that, if I haven't visited a tab in more than a few minutes, when I reopen that tab, Firefox reloads the page. I completely understand why this is done, and I still think it's a poor choice. Half the time it takes me away from the actual page or content I was looking at, and starts me over from the entry point (think infinite scroll type pages). There's a refresh button for a reason. Do less, Firefox.

But the problem I'm having is that this auto-refresh feature is broken. About 10% of the time, it just shows me the tab home page. It doesn't even reload the site. The address is not in the address bar. The refresh button is grayed out. Sometimes, if I wait long enough (30-45 real, actual seconds - feels like a very long time), the page will load. Sometimes. Most of the time I have to go into my history and re-open the tab that way. Sometimes it will go from the home page to a blank white screen, as if it's about to load the page, and then stalls there - again, nothing in the address bar, refresh button is grayed out. Depending on how far it got in this process, I may be able to swipe down to initiate a refresh, and if that works the page will usually load from there.

Is there a setting where I can disable this auto-refresh feature? Can I extend how long it keeps the cached page? Can I make it so that when I re-open the tab, I'm reliably back where I was? I thought that was the purpose of tabs?

As the subject suggests, I’m trying to figure out how I can recover about 180 tabs I lost while the inactive tabs setting was enabled. I don’t remember Firefox crashing - I just noticed a few days ago that all my inactive tabs were gone and have since been trying to find a way to recover them, with no success.

Which is why I’m here. Is there a way to access Firefox’s iOS files? From my research, I’m thinking it’s possible info on tabs might still be stored somewhere in those files.

Dear Sir/Madam,

The IOS version of Firefox (both iPhone and iPad) cannot receive tab pushed from all other devices (including pushed from Windows and IOS). I am sure that the Firefox on IOS devices is logged in and the notification of the IOS is on. This problem happened a few months ago which it was fine in the past.

I tried to logout the Firefox account and re-login. Also tried to delete the IOS apps and install again. But all the methods I tried cannot solve the problem.
