If i open a link to redirect to an app, let’s say wikipedia, it will redirect fine. When i switch back to Firefox, the mobile version of the link i clicked on will be loaded instead of just displaying search engine search results where i clicked the wikipedia link. (Admin note: edited to fix formatting issue)

Another thing that happens is if i click on the link, still being wikipedia, get redirected to the app, then close out firefox, the next time i open firefox, it will redirect me back to the wikipedia app.

This issue I have been having is not just related to Wikipedia, this is for any other link that may open a related app I have installed on my phone.

When I scan any QR code it goes to a Firefox start page instead of the site the code it’s written to. The same for links from other apps. My software is up to date. I have tried powering down and restarting. I really like Firefox and would like to keep it as my primary browser. What should I check?

Recently, I reported a glitch with e-mail messages from you. The text of the messages was darkened either completely or almost to the point of being unreadable--actually, backgrounded--always at least partially covered by a pop-up telling about the trackers that were derailed by the DuckDuckGo browser. Since then, I have made a discovery: The problem occurs when using Apple's iPhone Mail app, but not at all when using Microsoft's iPhone Outlook app. It should be noted that e-mails from you go to my Microsoft (Outlook.com) account. I had been using Firefox on my iPhone for forever. All of a sudden the icon just disappeared, so I can no longer use it as my browser. When I check my apps in Settings, it's there, and checked as my browser, but there's no longer an icon to click on. I went to the app store thinking it had somehow become deleted, and instead of being able to get the app, it just says Open, meaning that it should be on my phone. How do I get the icon back? The way it is now, I can't even delete and re-install it.

DuckDuckGo is default browser on iOS ad iMac. I want to block any and all Amazon.com results from my searches. How do I do that? If an overall block is not possible, how to I customize a search or the results list to filter out Amazon.com?

Prevent websites from auto-reloading while reading/scrolling. Sites where this reloading problem occurs reliably (so you can test, for example), include HuffingtonPost and CNN.

Sorry, but this feature is a PITA. Is there a way to turn it off.

I've been a firefox user for > 15 years but I won't continue to be if I have to put up with this.

You should make it so you have to opt to turn in on.

I'm tryin to swap over to firefox from chrome vbut I can't see my bookmarks. It seems that the desktop version supports a bookmarks toolbar but the IOS version doesn't. t wouldn't be so bad if I could see ALL my bookmarks on IOS but I can't. I can't find any way of accessing them.

I don't need a bookmarks toolbar on IOS, I just want access to those I bookmark on desktop into the bookmarks toolbar.

Any ideas?

Hi all, opening of external links (e.g. out of AppleMail or any other App) is no longer possible since FF version 123.0 (IPhone 6S+ mit IOS 15.8.2, FF is standard-browser). The last weeks I followed the article (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1442950) which should be fixed with version 124. Meanwhile I updated to FF version 125.2 but the issue is not solved for me yet. When I click on an external link in AppleMail or other Apps, FF starts and shows the startscreen. Then the screens "flickers" one time but nothing else happens. Because not many users are reporting this issue I think that may be a configuration set on my IPhone is the cause of this and not a bug in FF. Has anyone an idea what can be the issue and how to solve it ?

I'm now very annoyed by this issue and if I don't find a solution soon, I'll install another browser.

I keep getting the red padlock but when I tap on it it says my connection is secure and when I tap on that it shows that I’m connected to HTTPS. What’s causing this? Is my connection exposed? When i shutdown and reopen the app the red padlock goes away but I'm confused as it says 'connection is secure' either way.

Hi ! I´m using firefox 125.1(40778) on ios 17.4. Recently I faced a problem with the password manager of Firefox, as it doesn`t automatically fill in username and password on a site I visit on a regular basis. But when you click on the username the keyboard pops up and there I found the option to use the password manager of firefox. After re-authentification (fingerprint on my mobile) it opens the password manager and suggests the appropriate password. Clicking on it and you are in.

So the password manager still works although in a more complicated way because once you´re in the house you don´t need the door key anymore.

It used to be that when I typed in the beginning of a URL, Firefox would suggest a massive list of matching URLs from my history that would slowly dwindle as I typed more, but now I get only three suggestions.

I didn't change anything, so is this a change in Firefox? If so, can it be changed back? Or made an option?
