Keep getting red padlock despite it saying my connection is secure

Hi, I keep getting the red padlock but when I tap on it it says my connection is secure and when I tap on that it shows that I’m connected to HTTPS. What’s causing this?… (funda kabanzi)

Hi,

I keep getting the red padlock but when I tap on it it says my connection is secure and when I tap on that it shows that I’m connected to HTTPS. What’s causing this? Is my connection exposed? When i shutdown and reopen the app the red padlock goes away but I'm confused as it says 'connection is secure' either way.

Thanks, See photo

Printer help needed! Where is my default IOS printer (Epson ET-4850) & where is the print option in Firefox? The bigger question is how do I connect my default IOS printer to Firefox? Thus far I have no way to print from Firefox therefore have deployed the workaround of copying web address into Safari and printing from there. I do not want to spend hours researching something that should be simple and likely is something that most of you already know. Here I am 10 yrs post retirement I’m already feeling outdated & very stressed 😟 Thank you for any information & help you might share!

Ever since my IPad updated to iOS 17 I have had issues with Firefox crashing. I currently have iOS17.2 which fixed some other issues but not this issue. When it crashes and I go back in it will ask if I want to restore tabs, if I say no, then I get a new clean tab. However, the next time it crashes (which it will) and it asks to restore tabs, it restores tabs from the first time it crashed, not the current tabs I was on. I have deleted and reinstalled Firefox but it still crashes. And when I say it crashes it does it extensively, every time I go on Firefox. I’m sorry I don’t know the version of Firefox I have nor the operating system.

There is an on/off switch in the Android version of Firefox: Setting>Customize>Scroll to hide toolbar that is not there is the iOS version, that I use on my iPad. I've looked everywhere in the iPad version's settings, but that entire section (Customize) isn't there. Is there some way to make the toolbar in the iOS version visible all the time? It's really useful when I've scrolled down to read a page and need to switch tabs, something I do quite a lot.

I'm using Firefox on iOS along with the Bitwarden app for password management. I've noticed that Chrome and Safari display Bitwarden suggestions for password autofill directly in the toolbar, but Firefox does not. Is this due to my settings, or could it be an unfixed bug with Firefox on iOS? Has anyone else encountered this issue or knows if it's being addressed?

I found a bug in your Firefox for iPad in Version 125.2 and earlier that has been recurring. Once I establish Dark Mode in one tab, (Tab 1) via system dark mode on iPad settings and Firefox Settings, When I open a new tab,(Tab 2) it will be in Light Mode. When I switch Tab 2 to Dark Mode via Firefox settings, it will automatically switch Tab 1 into Light mode. If I switch all odd # tabs into Dark Mode, all Even # tabs will be a weird Light Mode but with the videos in screen paused in a strange negative photo view. After reading up on all websites, forums on Mac, iPad and Firefox, it seems this is a Firefox Bug. To correct this, all tabs opened in either light or dark mode should be the same mode as the new tabs opened. My iPad update has been updated to the latest version 17.4.1 iPad 9th Gen.

I’ve used Firefox for many years on both my pc and mobile and keep them both up to date and use sync. However recently when using the app and wish to enter my username and password with autofill, after using my phones passkey, I can find the website on my password list but the username and password are not being displayed and will not autofill to the website I am attempting to use. However, when I am using the website on my pc I have no issues at all. Even after manually entering the username on the app password list and attempt to access it again at a later time, the username and password are not being displayed or deleted. Please see attached photo as an example.

Recently, I reported a glitch with e-mail messages from you. The text of the messages was darkened either completely or almost to the point of being unreadable--actually, backgrounded--always at least partially covered by a pop-up telling about the trackers that were derailed by the DuckDuckGo browser. Since then, I have made a discovery: The problem occurs when using Apple's iPhone Mail app, but not at all when using Microsoft's iPhone Outlook app. It should be noted that e-mails from you go to my Microsoft (Outlook.com) account. I hope that helps.

‘Pay with PayPal’ functionality on websites is broken for me and has been across updates of both Firefox and iPadOS for as long as I can remember at this point. I’m using an iPadPro running iOS 16.7.2 with Firefox for iOS version 120.4 (36613). When I’m checking out at e-commerce sites (e.g., J Crew), and I click on the PayPal button when selecting a form of payment, a new tab opens, but it’s literally blank — nothing even tries to connect or load. This happens across e-commerce sites. It doesn’t happen with Firefox on my PC/Windows laptop or on my iPad with other browsers (Chrome, Safari). I have tried everything that I can uninstall/reinstall, deactivate, or toggle, and nothing seems to fix this. I have cross-site tracking disabled in iOS. Some people have suggested that websites are not fully supporting Firefox any longer or that there is a problem with Firefox and Apple’s proprietary rendering engine. I’m really at the end of my wits about this. After having used Firefox faithfully since Netscape disappeared, I’m honestly on the verge of giving up. Please help.

Sorry, but this feature is a PITA. Is there a way to turn it off.

I've been a firefox user for > 15 years but I won't continue to be if I have to put up with this.

You should make it so you have to opt to turn in on.
