The latest version of firefox for MacOS 14.4.1 has broken the picture in picture function. When enabling PiP, the video window takes up almost the entire screen and doesn't remember the size i set it to, like it did in older versions of Firefox. Another issue is when im in fullscreen mode and enable PiP, the PiP window takes me to another 'desktop', whereas before it would simply overlay on top of my screen.

Once updated Firefox all old tabs didn't open ( and it was not possible to restore them anymore). So I'd like to restore all old tabs of yesterday session. Really important for my work. Looking forward to hearing from you asap. Regards, Orlando.

I've got an M2 MacAir running the latest version of Sonoma. Within the last week, the battery power has fallen off a cliff. It barely runs for a couple of hours and recharging takes nearly half a day. I'm not running anything unusual just social media & YT videos. This seems to have coincided with the latest Firefox update. I was wondering if this might be contributing to it or if this is a common problem since Sonoma & FF updates?

Anyone any ideas?

There are a few websites (e.g., https://thehermitagehotel.com/) that show up as a white screen (see attached) when I visit them from Firefox using my usual settings, but show up correctly if I use Firefox in private browsing mode. Turning off enhanced tracking protection does not resolve the problem. My browser privacy in Settings is set to "Custom" with everything checked, but changing to Standard and reloading the site does not fix the issue. As I noted above, the only thing that works is to open the site in private browsing mode. Most sites work fine. This problem is limited to 2-3 websites. My version of Firefox is 125.0.1 .

We have used Firefox for access to certain sites for years. Recently, we wanted access to particular sites, but the info boxes needed would now not allow entries. Then, we went to Chrome and there was no problem entering the info. Please provide a response to resolve these issues of Firefox not allowing data entry, but Chrome allowing data entry for the same sites.

Every once in a while, maybe once or twice a week, I'll press Cmd+L to highlight the address bar, type a URL for a new website, and press enter, and instead of going to that new website Firefox just reloads the current page. It seems that this happens exclusively when the current website is gmail.com. (I might be wrong) I can't remember it happening on any other website. This problem has been occurring for me for the past year at least. Any recommendations?

Hi there. I love Firefox, but I have an issue at the moment where I have one copy set up on my Mac, and it has two profiles. However, I'm running into regular problems where they're both open and they can't quit, or they crash, or they want updates, the other one, and then it has to be restarted and can't open web pages for stuff like that.

A little bit more about my setup. I have two admin accounts on my Mac and an applications folder with Firefox in it. Then each of my Mac accounts has a version of Firefox with a different profile.

I'm about to do a clean install of macOS with the two admin accounts. I want to install Firefox correctly this time. How do I have two entirely separate copies of Firefox running on my Mac in the two admin accounts? I just don't want their threads to be mixed or them to be updating each other or anything like that.

Absolutely love Firefox, but this has been quite a big issue for me and I'd love some advice here. Thank you.

After years of accessing www.youtube.com with Firefox with no problem, the website is no longer accessible as of yesterday. When I point my browser to that URL, I get a screen with greyed out video previews, greyed out titles, greyed out account access and a search window that does not do anything. I can access YouTube just fine with Safari. I've cleared my cache. Please advise.

Am trying to update my email address. When I try to make the secondary the primary, it wants a verification code entered. The field for this code will not let me paste it or enter it manually. Will this glitch be fixed soon?

I have recently refreshed Firefox on my laptop running MacOS. Previously I had changed the full-screen-transition in about:config to be zero, but since refreshing changing the setting hasn't disabled the transition. My config is this currently: full-screen-api.transition-duration.enter 0 0 full-screen-api.transition-duration.leave 0 0 full-screen-api.transition.timeout 0 Despite everything being like before the transition persists... I'm currently on the latest version of Firefox (125.0.3)

In all instances, when I click on a link to view a document on a website, rather than simply pop up to view, the document is downloaded and I am required to save it to my computer. Something in the Firefox settings is preventing the pop-up view from occurring. Not certain where to reset in order to correct this. Please advise

How can I get access to my own site again? I have been able to access joycefitch.com for years but today I can no longer access it from Firefox.

Firefox just stops responding when trying to load a web page. The only way to get it back working is to reboot the computer. I have tried quitting the application but when I try to restart it it doesn't respond and I end up having to force quit and reboot the computer and then it will work fine. Hello. In the last few days when I visit my Shopify website, the pricing on my products is not visible. This is only for me, nobody else has this issue. I do not have this issue on Safari, or on Firefox when I open a private browsing window. It is something to do with Firefox, but I don't want to have to open a private window every time I go to my store. Is there a solution? This has only been happening for the last few days. Thanks

Ever since the latest update, the picture-in-picture function stopped working properly. If I activate it, the video will automatically go to full screen, and I need to press the full screen button multiple times to move it down to a small box. I am using Firefox on a Mac laptop.

I am afraid to update to Firefox 124 for fear of losing the existing order of 100s of open tabs if the default setting of ordering tabs by "Recently Opened" kicks in before I have a chance to change the setting to "Tab Order". Can anyone help me? I'd like to upgrade to 124 if I can do so safely!
