Hi! I do not want more cookies than "necessary". So I reject, make settings etc. And I clean them automatically when closing Firefox, just in case. On some sites that I visit very often, this turns out very tedious and timeconsuming. How to allow only necessary cookies and not the rest? With Privacy & Security, Cookies and Site Data, Manage Exceptions, I can allow or block cookies from specific sites. What do I allow when I choose Allow? Only the ticked ones or all marketing and other stuff even when these are not preticked as default? Or will the choices made during this session be saved? In the case of my bank and a couple of others, I would like to save my choices to be able to enter it a little faster. But cleaning at closing Firefox also deletes that, I suppose? How to save my choices without saving all cookies?

Is there any way to see what kind of cookies have been saved? I can see the number of cookies for each site under Manage Data, but how to see the type of cookie?

I have just discovered Pocket now allows you to sort Pocket Saves into Lists. !! Hurrah and thank you so much.

However, it would be SO HELPFUL if it was possible to sort the Lists alphabetically, as I now have so many it is difficult to find a particular List.

I realise this may be a development, but just thought I would check.

Also - I am not sure many people have realised you have added this ability to Pocket, so maybe you could advertise it more. I beleive a lot of people would prefer to use Firefox for saving Collections instead of other providers, but it was so confusing to use it before you added this capability. Thank you

Yesterday, Amazon disappeared from the Firefox search drop down menu and it had disappeared as an option from the list of possible search tools. Later on in the day, it reappeared. This morning it had disappeared. Amazon is still there, but Firefox seems disinclined to admit that. How can Firefox make Amazon stick?

You may have heard about this, Youtube (and parent Google) have recently declared war on adblockers and non-Chrome browsers. I have reason to believe they have escalated that war to deliberately crash non-Chrome browsers, at least slowing them down to make them non-responsive.

In the past few days, browsing Youtube has caused my system to stop responding requiring a power cycle to clear the problem.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? Is this just a bad setting, or is Youtube acting as malicious as I believe them to be?

All of a sudden I can't open a certain website. I opened the website a few days ago with no problem and have been using the site for years. (I checked to see if the site is down but it's not.) I googled how to unblock websites in Firefox and nothing I've tried works. I disabled Trackers for the website and I cleared my Cookies. I added the Firefox uBlock extension a few weeks ago to stop constant website popups (after I tried resetting Firefox) and I turned uBlock off for this certain website but I still can't access the website. I also installed Mozilla VPN last week. I'm using Firefox 122.0.1. What could be the problem?

I've been using Firefox for the past two years. I go onto www.homedepot.com all the time. Every day, multiple times a day. All the sudden over the past two weeks, it won't load my bookmark. I type it in manually, it doesn't work. I clear cache, history and restart browser. No luck. I restart computer, still an issue. I go into 'private window', kind of loads and then all the sudden freezes. I use Chrome and it works no problem. Then I search the Firefox support forum to find that multiple other people have had this issue over the past five years.

I mean wow, I use Home Depot to buy materials for work plus a credit card account and then to just have it not work anymore on this browser for no apparent reason is crazy. Then to not be able to contact anyone at Firefox regarding the issue is also crazy.

I mean it's fucking homedepot. I know like 10 years ago there was a data breach with them so maybe firefox is protecting itself from them? But then just have a message pop up saying you can't access the site on firefox. No problem. But to have it be so open ended and a continuous problem over years. That's just dumb. How can I trust Firefox with my information and data if I can't even access a basic site with no recourse for solution or understanding or help?

After the automatic installation of the latest update to FireFox, I find I cannot load yahoo.com. I have tried all the suggestions for Hotmail. None of them work: no page loads. The page loads fine in Chrome.

For a few months now, on different sites, the backround is fully black on black text and I can't use it at all, so I have to enter on Chrome to use it. I tried reseting the cache and booting in safe mode, but it doesn't seem to work. I changed things like themes and made the site be able to choose its own, but nothing seems to work. One option I found online but I'm not to happy to try is to make another profile, but I have all my passwords and bookmarks on this profile.

New computer, new Firefox install. Old computer has the Library Icon in the upper right corner when the browser opens. I imported my bookmarks, but can't figure out how to get the Library Icon positioned.

just downloaded Firefox 122.

opened firefox and tried to open facebook (with only one other tab open)...got error message "Gah. Your tab just crashed." see attached message.

tried "restore tab", cleose tab. opened another tab....same error....BUT ONLY FOR FACEBOOK!!! (not shouting, emphasizing). other sites open just fine. And FB opens in other browsers.

tried deletring all cookies and data, too

Recently I realized that the vast majority of my passwords were no longer present in the Firefox password manager. When looking at my profile's logins.json file, they are all present, yet only the last two are visible in the password manager itself. I've tried refreshing Firefox, restarting my PC, and creating a new profile and copying over both the logins.json and key4 files to it, yet the issue remains. Is there a way to decrypt the logins.json file using both it and the key4 file so that I could import into Firefox as a CSV? Thanks in advance.

I have a 30-day free trial for DeepL add-on (and enabled it in Firefox). I tried to use the extension when I visited a Russian website and clicked DeepL and "Translate this selection" and nothing happened. The webpage wasn't translated. Do I have to be a "Pro" user to use DeepL? If not, how do I get it to work? I'm using Firefox 122.0.1 version and Windows 10.

After updating firefox browser today i cannot use Facebook site. I dont know if that occurs with other sites also, because right now i need to use Facebook.

After 10 minutes or so suddenly i get black window with error message. No matter how many times i refresh or open new tab and go to facebook website, it crashes a second later and gives error message again. If i close firefox browser completely and then open it again - and log in - i can be logged in Facebook like 10 minutes and it crashes again with - again - same error message. I did not have this problem before update. And i can use facebook in other browsers perfectly. If this bug does not get fixed i need to get rid of the faulty browser. Please fix this bug.
