I have an email account blocked (jgcaller129@gmail.com) and have tried the sync tab at the top corner of my computer. It sends a message with a number to this blocked email to unblock it- how am I supposed to get an email from you on a blocked account. How do I unblock this account. I have tried several times with the same result now the icon to sync isn't there anymore. PLEASE HELP This email is very important to me. You can send a reply to an alternate email account (also linked to Firefox -jgcaller15@gmail.com).

I thought I had all my search settings in firefox locked down to only use google for search and nothing else. But today it shared/looked at some data of what I was browsing and made a suggestion for a different medical search engine (that I did not ask for), so I have a serious privacy concern. Here's the screenshots... what am I missing???

I migrated to Win10, installing Firefox and restoring bookmarks from a json file. I subsequently spent some days reorganizing and editing the bookmarks but inadvertently deleted a large subfolder from these. Of the number of options to get that back I see there are 10 or so recent bookmark backups I can try restoring from. The folder I want exists in one of those, but I will also have lost many recent edits. Is there perhaps a way to view both bookmark trees side-by-side, or a way to restore bookmarks selectively or to a different location than the bookmark root?

(I know I can back up what I have now, restore an older version, manually copy out the missing folder, restore my new version and reinsert the lost data, but hoping for less work)

I can't create a new container. The controls to do so are missing. How do I fix that?

"uBlock Origin" is the only other extension installed. I use the default privacy mode.

So i was using firefox in Linux recently and now because of linux issues, i switch back to windows. I logged in with same id but sync is not working. I had a long history of passwords, extensions and bookmarks. Also opened tabs and all but the account sync is not working. I even verified if this is the same account i logged in with in linux as i have 2FA and in the app it says this is the email i used for it. Please help me ASAP

Hello! Upon searching on Google, Netflix on Firefox can have a max resolution of 1280x720p. But recently, I noticed while watching on Netflix that the video quality was really poor, so I checked the stream details and saw that the resolution was only at 960x540p.

I have tried to create a new profile in Firefox to see if there would be any changes in the Netflix video quality and there was -- it was 1280x720p on the newly created profile while on my default profile it just remains stuck at 960x540p. I could easily just change my default profile, but it is too much of a hassle for me 'cause I don't want to have to re-download all my extensions and lose my bookmarks. Was wondering why this happened and how I could fix this?

i would like to be able to remove ANY bookmark at ANY time from the main menu, not the bookmark bar but the icons in the middle of screen when you open the browser

I cant delete half of them, they flicker for a millisecond and dont disappear. how? i feel like clicking dismiss should forcefully remove the icon. it doesn't and this just makes me a little angry.

add the ability to click on the 3 dots and click a new button called DELETE. it should fix the issue by removing it.

I need to shrink the size of my tabs, which remains constant no matter how many are open. If I have four open, I get the "+" for a new tab at the end of the tab bar. If there are five open, the tabs consume the entire width of the browser window and the "+" sign disappears. It is not found in the "customize toolbar" menu. I have tried restoring tool bar defaults and changing the uidensity to 1, but neither change shrinks the size of the tabs or gives me the "+" option.

What do I need to do to get back to the way it used to work?

I am creating a new website and on the test instance everything works everywhere except on Firefox. I have 4 x header images on a slider, the first one loads ok, the second one loads ok, then when it should move on to the third & fourth it just stops. The site can still be navigated, but it's a bit annoying and not the user experience I want. The test url is

With automatic updates, does Firefox actually notice when the computer's operating system no longer meets the system requirements? Will the update still be carried out, even though this could lead to problems with use, or will Firefox stop the updates automatically?

Currently i found the configuration for opening in the same tab, and that middle mouse will open a new tab. However, the new tab from middle mousing, just opens the same tab as where I middle moused. It does not appear to be loading/opening the link I clicked. Ive tried a few items in about:config but havent found one that makes it load the middle moused link.

Transferred everything to a new computer (Windows 11). All my bookmarks transferred just fine but the little logos are all gone and every bookmark has only the little "globe" logo. How can I get back all the individual logos? Thanks, Len

when i go to webmail1.earthlink.net it used to fill auto fill in the e-mail address and password that i have saved. NOW it no longer does that, in fact it now shows only (no username) under username. I have several e-mail addresses for that web site and everything it wants to update it... WHAT happened??? it was nicer to have it remember then me having to find my piece of paper with the usernames and passwords
