I'm using my Firefox with Custom CSS with toolkit.legacy thing enabled. I'm using Firefox for my everything and I love it. But It keeps break my current profile then starts a new profile that everything has been reset. It keeps break my profile and starts a new profile. I lose everything... It's enough for me. I could not find any solution for it. If It's not fixed, I'll stop using this beautiful browser :'(

A few months ago, an automatic feature in bookmarks quit working. It used to be that when you bookmarked a page you would be prompted about what bookmarks folder you wanted to put it in. That suddenly quit working. Now, after you bookmark a page, you have to go into "Manage Bookmarks" then move it to the folder you want. I can't find a setting that would bring that back. Was this a change that was deliberately made in an update or is it just a glitch that happened somewhere along the line? If that feature was removed, I'd like to know why. It doesn't make sense.

Is there a way to stop Firefox from creating a desktop shortcut every time it updates? It is just desktop clutter for a lot of people, especially since Firefox is pinned to the taskbar anyhow.

None of the "solutions" I've found so far did work. -clear browser cache -clear browser history -restart firefox

Firefox: 118.0.1 (64-Bit) OS: Win 11 with latest updates

I was just updated to version 118.0.1 which is advertised to contain a webpage translation function. I clicked the show me button which sent me to the Firefox Mexico webpage. However, there's no Translate button/icon in the address bar. I've verified I'm running version 118.0.1 and have rebooted the computer. Still no Translate function observed. Any ideas?

Centurylink Webmail will not open in Firefox. Worked yesterday but not today. Can open it on Chrome, Edge, and surprisingly a "Private" Firefox window.

I've made no changes to browsers in the past week so don't believe it is anything I did.

Help, please. Not sure what to try next.

as of 2023/09/29 hulu, netflix, prime and disney+ are not playing videos on firefox, after making zero changes to settings or configuration.

I tested Netflix on Google Chrome and videos played, confirming this is a Firefox issue. I cleared recent/all history and changed passwords for those sites. Netflix logs me out if I attempt to play content. Speedtest reports 200 mb/s. Mozilla VPN is installed but turned off. Netflix sign in reports a new device/login in my state which is different from the VPN setting so this confirms that the VPN is not active and blocking content. HBO/Max videos play correctly and that site does not have the same issues. Firefox has crashed numerous times in the last two weeks. Sometimes just a single tab, sometimes a full application insta-quit.

I prefer to compartmentalize usage across different browsers for privacy/security reasons and would like to continue to use Firefox for these streaming services.

My website main image has displayed via Firefox browsers seamlessly for years. However, recently when visiting my website via Firefox browsers the main image no longer displays.

I have cleared cache, and followed all direction provided on the mozilla support site and the image does not display. It displays via other browsers and also on tablets and mobile but again not Firefox any longer.

I used to use Nimbus Screen Capture, until it started having issues with the latest Firefox configuration.

It was capable of allowing the user to create a template to customize screen capture title.

Is there any way to do this for the Firefox built-n screenshot tool?

Per version 118 we now have the possibility to have webpages to be automatically translated from its original language to another one. As end user I get prompted for every page I visit whether I would like that to be translated. This is quite the flow-stopper. I have no need nor interest for this amazing functionality. However, I can't find anywhere an explanation on how to disable that functionality. I would appreciate it if I was not prompted for this translation possibillty. My question: how to disable this translation functionality alltogether? (I.e. How to stop Firefox asking me about it?)

One version says go "Tools > Options > Content" - but my Tools mention has no options found

Other version says to " Enable JavaScript on Mozilla Firefox

   1. On the web browser, click the Firefox menu and select Options.
   2. In Options window, select the Content tab.
   3. Mark the Enable JavaScript checkbox.
   4. In Options window, click on the OK button to close it.
   5. Click on the Reload current page button on the web browser to refresh the page.

I am in IOS Firefox, 118.0

vpn plugin on one browser won't connect to internet so i have to stop using it to go anywhere. if i use the vpn for the whole system, using a firefox browser doesn't give me clean connections so i can't get to some sites. any suggestions? do they know about this? i noticed in my settings i am now using a custom setting for tracking and a reinstall of the plugin said it now had to have access to 'private windows' which i've never had to do before. do i need to switch to the chromium browsers? cheers in advance.

What is going on? Before, I was able to close firefox with the close button. Now, anytime i do that, when i reopen firefox it will not reopen the tabs. Sometimes I will be able to type in the search bar and almost get the windows to switch.

This is so annoying, ive already lost a lot of tabs i will not be able to get back.

After installing version 118, Firefox does not automatically explain the pages.I have to go out in the settings and choose the language of the translation every time. The problem occurs after the browser is synchronized. MX Linux system.

There is no gear icon when I open a new tab. and my thumbnails are missing. Tried the solution here Right clicking does not give the option to restore defaults. value of browser.newtabpage.enabled is true. changing it to false did not change anything, neither did changing it back again.

Since the latest download one of my 3 win10 PC's is displaying icons on top of the text. Firefox is up to date at Ver 118.0.1 (64-bit) I expect its a setting but I cannot find it. Screenshot attached. TIA KR's Andy B

When I try to connect to the Etsy website I get the following message "429 Too Many Requests". I have a VPN and I have to turn it off to be able to connect. I contacted Etsy and they said it was a browser issue. Besides turning the VPN off when I want to connect is there a fix?
