I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

I am frequently needing to clear the Cached web content, when doing development work on a website. I always need to remember to remove the check mark from the Cookies box. However, I sometimes forget and loose dozens of log-in cookies and need to reset them, which is a big pain.

I was unable to find anything in the Firefox Advance Configuration settings. In Chromium and Chrome browsers, only the Cached images and files box is set with a check mark. If I cannot change the default for Cookies, this is reason enough for me to switch browsers, despite using Firefox for many years.

Just FYI, these two add-ons now cause problems when loading some web pages. Just started this AM (8/5/2023):

Many websites aren't working or aren't showing any data. Like Spotify. It looks like its open, but no data appears.

I've updated the latest version. Chrome works. But Firefox doesn't. Help!

After the newest update Firefox fails to upload some pages. I reset the internet and wifi but that didn't fix the problem so I try Edge and it worked fine....

For example Facebook load fine but if I try changing the cover photo the menus (pull down panel) never appears. Earthlink home page never uploads. etc.

While I switched to MS Edge all the pages mentioned above worked fine.... so it is not the Wifi or the internet connection

I believe I had originally installed Firefox while I was in the UK. Since then I've moved to the US. When I type "amazon" in the location box, the first option is "amazon.co.uk". I've looked for options to change this to amazon.com. I cannot remove it (there's no "..." to the right). I've downloaded and reinstall Firefox now that I'm in the US. I made sure my default language is English (US).

One thing I can't done is completely uninstall Firefox and then reinstall. I'd rather not lose any settings and so am saving that for the last resort.

Anything else I can try?

Hi, As of last 2 days (since the last upgrade) Firefox does is stuck on some sites. Some features on facebook would not load Some sites say that the servers take too long to respond - say they have troubles reaching servers. Some sites refuse to login or stuck (chesstempo)

Note then I tried all this on Opera - all worked. What could be the issue? cleaning cache did not help.

Firefox 115.3 kept crashing on opening. I tried Safe Mode, but that also just crashed straight away. I'm not aware of any changes that have been made that might trigger this. I've not changed any settings, or Add-Ons, or anything like that.

Even though I was supposed to be getting the latest updates, I was not informed of 116. So I have now downloaded and installed 116, and everything has disappeared. Bookmarks and settings, all gone.

I know they still exist, cos I can see them in Firefox 112 on my laptop. But on my desktop, it's like a virgin installation.

Hello Every time i reset PC and open Firefox i have to login to all services again ! Whats the hell is going on ? Every time all bc procedure answer TXT , answer ble ble question what the .... is wrong with you ? i used Firefox like 10 years ,, i guess is time to switchh to othher .... show like MS or yahoo P or chrome

I cleared all history from my browser history and no I can not get pages to load. Or if they do open, I am unable to click on any section. The only exception is that Firefox seems to work normally if I use Private Browsing.

Long story short, due to a boot up error loop, i was forced to reinstall windows.

I have done this before and after logging into my Firefox account, everything synced. This time however, it did not work. All my Book Marks, Passwords etc are gone. I really need those back.

If anyone can assist i will greatly appreciated.

I have sync turned on for all options but everytime Firefox updates I lose all passwords and log-ins from my main Windows desktop PC, the Bookmarks are all still in place.

Log in and password infois still available on my iphone and macbook air..

How do I restore them and prevent it happening again?

Firefox keyboard recognition not working. The letters that I type are not those appearing on screen. I’m typing in Word, & copy/paste in order to write the text.

Recently, the web fonts are not displaying properly while using Firefox. This is not an issue on Safari or Chrome. How do I got about fixing this issue? I've attached an image to show how fonts are displaying currently.

I have System Mechanic Ultimate Defense from iolo on my windows pc. When I updated firefox the password manager, called ByPass, was no longer on firefox and I could not put it back on. When I tried to launch it from System Mechanic I got a message that said - 404- page you are looking for could not be found.
