Hi,
im getting unknown issuer on my thin-clients with a FF ESR 45.9.0. This FF is tied to the OS (Ubuntu 16.04) and the OS is the most recent compatible version for our version of the thin-clients. So yeah its super old and I'm not able to update any of this. There is no security.enterprise_roots.enabled option available. What would be the best way to solve this issue for ~400 clients. Thanks in Advance Regards Tekkion

Hi, I use the Firefox Developer Edition for Windows Desktop (112.0b4 (64-bit) on daily basis. When I play the Udemy DRM content nothing goes wrong first and the browser loads the page well. But after some time passed I see that Firefox stops to load the page and the tab spinning infinitely. Pressing the realod button doesn't help. The only solution is to restart the browser. I use no-proxy setting. The refreshing of the browser didn't help either. I have configured the following options in the "about:config" but it didn't help as well: network.dns.disableIPv6 : true network.dns.disablePrefetch : true network.http.http3.enabled: false

I installed the Mail Link Enhancer add-on. It works, sort-of. The subject line and other fields included after the ? in the mailto address do not get filled in. Looking at the add-on info, the developer is Nick, but there is no contact info in the More Information section of the add-on profile. The add-on hasn't been updated since 2020, so I'm fairly certain that things changed since then and that's why it isn't working, but I'm no expert.

Hello! I'm trying to login on the developer hub, and it asks me to set up the 2FA, i follow the instructions, setting up the key that it gives me
After that I do verify the code and it success, but it is stuck on saying "Two-step authentication enabled" and it does not do anything
I try again to press the button, it times me out so I wait 15 minutes, after that it says again it has been enabled, but I does don't do anything else.
If I reload the page I start from 0 with another code, and same behavior.
When using Google authenticator the code is wrong both entering the code and scanning the qr.
What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

Hi lovely People, I try to setup 2FA on accounts.firefox.com with Authy on Android. In Step 1 the code generated from Authy is accepted.
But then, in step 3, when I try to paste in the just in step 2 provided backup activation code, it tells me it's wrong. Am I stupid? I just copied that key from step 2 ... I tried it many times now. Checked if my clipboard is working as expected, tried to delete the spaces in between... I used FF Standard and FF Developer Edition. My Authy is working elsewhere.
Any help? I searched the Forum, found some relating questions, but they never get answered. No one having the same issue?

I am an 86 y/o programmer with poor eyesight. I wrote my first program in 1960 and am learning html, javascript, php and sqlite. I frequently want my browser to 'forget' but in 150% enlargement the forget window doesn't fit on my screen and if i scroll down on the page i lose the popup, so i have to back out to windows (10) set my viewing to 100% and do it over. Suggestion: reduce the size of the pop-up and put the 'forget' button on the top. Are all the little icons necessary? I cant change any of them. And is the time frame necessary? i always choose '24 hrs'. IMO you only need a 'really?' pop-up to the forget button push and then wipe it all out. IMO Firefox is an amazingly good program! kudo's to all you Mozilla programmers! jim murray [email removed from public forum]

I already have a profile with all the extensions, passwords, bookmarks, etc., that I want, with FDE. I want to start using Nightly, but dislike the continual moving of passwords & bookmarks, so I just want to use Firefox Sync for this.
(1) Is Sync a good option for me here? I would use FDE & Nightly on the same laptop.
(2) If my plan is ok, what is the best way to start with a new Nightly profile (which I would then Sync)? I tried deleting my old Nightly profile, uninstalling Nightly, and then downloading & uninstalling Nightly again, but every time I do this (including a reboot after uninstalling), I get a profile cannot be loaded error message every time I try to start Nightly. I don't want to use an old profile with Nightly, because I do not want to sync old data at all.
Suggestions?

After restarting my pc, signed in on another windows account, which does not have Firefox installed. Then, signed in to my account, opened Firefox (Developer Edition 112.0b9 (64-bit)), however, all of the tabs, pinned tabs and history were gone. Can't restore from the menu, can't restore from the Profile folder, because files in it were overwritten when I signed in to my account (according to time modified). Anybody been in the same situation? Any advice? Thx
see above and you tell me how you can help.

After updating firefox to 112 it now starts with ugly white ui dummy before actually loading proper UI. Screenshot attached. It was not happening on firefox 111.0.1. It happens every time I launch firefox 112. Of course nothing in changelog is said about changing performance or UI so I have no idea what is causing this.

Hi Firefox,
A link opens automatically in Firefox as soon as I turn on my PC. And that link redirect the page to some other link. This is happening from past several days. I have attached a SS of those links. What is the solution ? Is there a way in Firefox to block such links ? Early response appreciated.

Hi,
For years I have read directions to get my tabs back where is most logical for me, below the Bookmarks Toolbar. Now with this latest version of Firefox the workarounds I had before are not working.
To cut a long story short: I have made a Chrome folder under the Profile folder I have made CSS sheet with what looks like the commands I need. I have configured Firefox to read the userChrome.css sheet.
I have followed all the directions on this thread https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1375646 (most of which are repeated elsewhere) and it still doesn't work.
I am beyond frustrated - if anyone happens to know where I can go to request this as blinkin' option I would love to know.
Please could someone help me sort this out in the meantime though?
This is what is in the CSS sheet (which is in the correct place according to the above instructions - checked that already):
Thank you in advance.

My search engine page when I click on FF changed to Bing this morning. I installed Avast Virus Remover yesterday, and nothing else. All methods given on all the answer pages did not work (do not find the link) or I do not know how to get to the command (e.g. Tools - xxxx - xxx - which tools?) I can't open FF so I can't use any of its options, unless there is a way to open FF without this Bing thing.
Win 10. I ran all the AV's and malware programs and they found nothing because I really do not surf a lot. I can't say which version of FF because I can't open FF
Thanks

i used jeffersonscher to get all my tabs back from by old session but i restarted my pc and the session store jsonlz4 file got changed with a new one that didn't have all the tabs i previously had on it. When i did the restoring my jsonlz4 file was at 1:08am but when i accidentally restarted my pc it now is saying 2:31am and all the tabs that i have restored so far are on it but not the ones i haven't restored are not.
So is there a way to be able to get that old jsonlz4 file back so that i can restore all the tabs that i used to have.
Please help.
I use Safari on my mobile devices and Firefox on my Mac. What's the best way to keep passwords synced?
Thanks - Terry
