I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

This is more of a suggestion than a question. Is it possible for Firefox to have an in-built collections feature, similar to the one in edge? I really like the Firefox browser but i've used other browsers as well such as Chrome and Edge and their in-built collection and also the group tabs function is very convenient when we want to refer to tabs from previous sessions grouped into their respective categories... I've tried some extensions available in Firefox to replicate the same function but they don't work as well

My passwords won't auto-fill. The selection for "Ask to save logins and passwords for websites" is unchecked every time I restart Firefox.

I've tried everything. Re-installing, refreshing, removed all of my plug-ins, etc. I'm not in private mode either.

This is really disappointing. I don't want to switch to another browser.

I recently upgraded to Windows 11, and was very careful, I thought, to back up my Firefox bookmarks and the tab plugin I use to save my sessions because for whatever reason Firefox can't handle that reliably. It all worked, because I could just sync it, but now a month later I had to reinstall Windows and... I can't sync my browser.

I've tried every password I could think of. I can't recall if I wrote it down somewhere last time, or changed it since, but I'm pretty sure I'm using the right email. Right now I'm logged in with another account.

And while I see a tab session saved from last month, which is unfortunately a little out of date but better than nothing, I don't see any saved bookmarks from this year. Just one from a year ago. I have no idea what's happened exactly, but I wasn't as careful this time because the sync worked so recently.

Now I'm stuck! I have some very important bookmark folders saved, that are key to all my projects basically. I can't just start fresh. But I can't log in, can't find any password change written down in my notes, which I may just have forgotten to note down. And I can't find any contact for Firefox support.

I do value security when it comes to handling my data but there must be a way to verify who I am, and change the password using my email?

Xfinity streaming stopped working after the last firefox update. It's definitely firefox as it works on microsoft browser. I use the firefox brower and would like to get the streaming working again so I don't have to switch browsers.

I use firefox everyday and i experience crashes a lot usually when i right click. Normally I just close and reopen firefox and its working ok but today it crashed and deleted all of my open tabs. This never happened to me whenever firefox crashes it doesnt delet all of my tabs but today it did. I looked up on the internet on how to restore the tabs and the internet said Click History, then click Restore Previous Session but when I click history there is no button which says Restore previous session. Please help Thank you

Essentially, Firefox (desktop and android) at random times fail to fully load google websites. For instance if I search in the toolbar (google is the default) it won't complete the search, it will just think a bit then revert to a 'new tab' page as if the search never existed (bing.com works fine). Or if I go to my gmail account, it'll slowly load the envelope loading screen but will never complete. This is an intermittent issue throughout the day/night where suddenly I just can't load gmail or google search for 20 or so minutes.

I am able to get to google photos and calendar, etc. but not gmail or google search.

I am able to load those in other browsers such as Edge. I have attempted to clear cache and history and turned off all of my extensions. I've also re-installed Firefox.

The closest thing I have to a solution is that it has something to do with my home internet (wifi not hardwired) and/or region (Australia). For example, when the sites don't load I've tested turning on a VPN for the US, which then allows the sites to load just fine.

Is this some sort of DNS issue or something that I can change in the router or on my desktop? It's very curious that it's only those two sites that don't work (gmail and google search).

Where did all my saved logins and passwords go? Why did Firefox delete all that information? And NO, using about:profiles to check for alternative profiles, etc., does not work! There is NOTHING there! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! This is going to cost me hours/days to fix, unless I can find out what happened and get all that info back!

Whenever I open Firefox in MacOS Ventura (13.0.1) it opens in full screen. I want it to open a bit smaller so I can see my desktop behind it. Full screen is fine for a laptop, but I run it on a 26" widescreen monitor. How can I set it so it only covers, say, 3/4 of the screen?

As of a few weeks ago, I can no longer copy and paste when using Outlook for emails with Firefox as the browser. I have no issues if I use the MSN browser. When using Firefox, I can copy and paste in the subject line but not the body of the text. This is a real pain! I had no issues until a few weeks ago. If I try to copy and paste, I am able to copy but when I right click I no longer get a "paste" option. I now have an emoji option in its place. What's up with that?! I am using Windows 11 as the operating system on a Dell computer. Thanks in advance!

I have been trying to get a text file of all my Photo albums on Google Photos. I'm writing a Powershell script to change the text file into a CSV that I can send to friends. This will allow them to find an Album's URL much, much easier (Like Google Plus).

Anyway, the text file works fine for the first part of the web page. But there isn't any more text after about the first 50 Photo Albums. Is there some way to remove this pagination so I get the whole web page?

Any thoughts? Or other methods.

Multiple websites now requesting 2-factor authentication 2 and 3 times since last update.... Booking.com, my bank, Expedia, Sumup etc Is there something I need to change in security settings? Once I'm logged in once to these sites, they tend to remember the browser settings (me logging in basically) but since the latest update to Firefox last week, I am having to go through this process at least twice for several sites: once to log in and then again to take any actions once into my accounts... I use pinned tabs for gmail, calendar, etc. How can they be pinned permanently? When there is a shutdown/restart/signoff my pinned gmail tab requires a new signin which open in a new tab. I have to close the pinned tab and repin the new one for each open tab (gmails, cal, contacts...)

It happened today, my Firefox browser is unable to play audio from YouTube, i have checked everything from checking to my external hardware settings , drivers everything is okey, i can play videos in other browsers with audio but in Firefox i can't hear audio. Can anyone help me with this kind of unusual problem.

I have the setting: "When you open a link, image or media in a new tab, switch to it immediately" disabled, but it still jumps to the new tabs when I open links in them.

How do I stay on the same page while opening links in other tabs? I have tried CTRL + LEFT-CLICK, CENTER-CLICK, and RIGHT-CLICK menu to open in new tab.

I just checked to make sure Firefox was up to date.

I d/l Total AV and added Total WebShield & Total Adblock as extensions to my browser. Now when I open Firefox, it won't open in full screen. If I disable the WebShield, it opens full screen. Are there compatibility issues? Can you advise on how to fix it? It's very annoying.

When I log into amazon with mozilla and try to search for an item, amazons reply screen, on my windows 10 computer screen, goes black. When I do the same login sequence using google, everything works normally. I prefer using mozilla . This is a recent problem with mozilla that started two weeks ago. I need this fixed. I don't want to change browsers but I use amazon frequently. Thanks for your help.
