The Aer LIngus website crashed earlier this month, but was reinstated shortly afterwards. But I am still unable to see it on Firefox, though have no problem on Opera. I get a message on Firefox: "To regain access, please make sure that cookies and JavaScript are enabled before reloading the page". But I didn't make make any changes to my Firefox settings so am at a loss. Help! Thanks.

I seem to have that bug that was fixed a few updates ago where videos won't play. I have the latest version of Firefox. For example, YouTube will load and the page, progress bar and even subtitles will show, but the video will just have the spinning circle. I have tried videos on other websites (Facebook, Tumblr) and they won't play either.

I've uninstalled/reinstalled Firefox, refreshed Firefox, disabled all add-ons, allowed autoplay of videos/audio but nothing works. The videos all work on Chrome and Edge.

Hello,

I was having problems with one of my passwords not updating correctly in firefox 105.0.1 I exported all of the passwords into a csv file and then followed the steps outlined here in the forum to turn on import passwords from a file. Then while trying to fix the password problem I removed all passwords/ids. I clicked on the import from a file, selected the file I exported to but nothing happens.. No passwords, no id's. I thought maybe I wouldn't see it in the about:logins screen, so I tested out three different sites from the export file and no luck on anything. I was expecting a box to pop up telling me the import was successful or if I was sure I wanted to import all of these passwords but nothing, so even though I get the drop down to import I can't. Has anyone experienced this problem before or any solutions.

Thanks in advance

What is with Firefox lately. Endless problems with screen sizing, light dark mode. But what is really pi**ing me off is the inability to connect to certain web pages. No I don't have a any spyware or viruses (I have scanned with 3 different programs) and I have no problems with connecting to the pages with Chrome or Edge. I'm getting the error messages

Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to www.amazon.ca because this website requires a secure connection.

Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to www.ebay.ca. If you visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit card details. Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to www.google.com because this website requires a secure connection.

Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to www.google.com has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.Error code: SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER

And I get the same warning with Amazon, eBay, my email client Shaw Mail, Google Search, and several other pages that require a login. Is there anything I can do to fix this as I'm really starting to rethink my preferred web page browser?

Hello, I use Firefox 105 on my PC. I have embedded various YouTube videos on my website. I've had the following problem for a few days: I can see my videos on both my smartphone and tablet without going to YouTube. On my PC (Win 10 Pro Vers. 21H2) the display wheel "rolls" without opening the video (... "an error has occurred, try again later"). But if I click on: "Watch on YouTube" plays the video via YouTube correctly. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? Is there a wrong setting in the Firefox browser? Many thanks and best regards Helmut

Hello, I have the most recent firefox update 105.0.1 (64-bit). I'm currently using the desktop / PC version. When I drag my cursor to the left side of any webpage, click and drag upwards, firefox acts like i've pressed the back button! I've been trying to get some work done, which includes clicking and dragging things, so this is incredibly frustrating! I've already turned off browser.gestures in about:config, and now I'm not sure what to do! Please help me! ): This also happens when I click and drag from the left side of the page, to the right side of the page.

Edit: Turns out it was my mouse ): got a new one and it fixed the issue.

I'm a teacher and over the past few years, I've been using different Simple Tab Groups for different courses, lesson plans, readings, topics, etc. Which has been great. I've currently accumulated 31 tab groups. A couple of times in the past, tab groups have disappeared or all bunched into one group and I've had to rescue them from History or STG bookmarks and sort them out. Which made me fear that Simple Tab Groups isn't terribly secure.

Are Simple Tab Groups pretty safe, or risky to maintain in the long run? Should I switch to a different Tab organizing / Tab saving program or add-on or app? If so, is there a way to migrate the many many tabs I've saved?

Thank you, whoever's out there!

My Firefox (Windows 10) updated to 105.0 this morning. I have https://www.google.co.uk/ as my homepage and Firefox always used to focus on the Google webpage search bar on startup.

Now it focuses on the address bar instead (i.e. https://www.google.co.uk/ is selected). How can I make it focus on the webpage search bar on startup again instead?

I already found this thread from last year https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1334131 and tried changing browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar to false but it didn't have any noticeable effect and the issue is still present.

Many thanks.

Firefox currently blocks port 10080 to protect against a presumed security threat. Linksys routers use port 10080 to allow users to log in to the guest network so Firefox has rendered Guest Network logins to be unaccessable forcing router owner to allow "guests" to log in to the the primary lan and potentially cause issues with the very network they are trying to protect from outside issues. Firefox needs to provide a way for guests to log into the guest network within their software... particularly in the ios and android versions of the Firefox apps. Please provide a reasonable workaround so that I don't put my network at risk by allowing guests to log in to my primary network.

So this problem is isolated with Firefox as it doesn't happen with Edge or VLC on this pc. If I have Twitch or Youtube, probably any other audio or video playing, open when I turn the monitor off the audio will no longer go through properly when it is turned back on. The video is still playing fine but the audio isn't going through properly. Refreshing the page fixes the issue.

I have made sure to disable all other audio outputs and defaulted the current HDMI output. Audio playback works fine on every other application that I have tried.

Running Windows 11.

some firefox has kept my username and password for my bank.

i go to that page and they are both prefilled. I have tried to use the password manager to remove them but failed. I did find an entry and clicked to remove it but it still does it.

How can I get this out of the system? Pretty serious, eh?

And it is firefox, not cookies. I have a cookie manager and there's no cookies for the site.
