I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

So I got on my computer today, and I tried to open Firefox, but it wouldn't open, I would get a loading icon on my cursor and then nothing. So I restarted my computer, same issue. Reinstalled Firefox, same issue. I then reinstalled after having deleted the %appdata% folder for Mozilla, but that also changed nothing. So I looked in Task Manager, and it would just open instances of Firefox as a background app no matter how many times I clicked. I've also tried using other browsers with no success. (Also, I'm runnning Windows 10, 64-Bit version, and had not installed any programs recently before Firefox stopped working.) I would greatly appreciate if I could get some assistance with this because I prefer Firefox much more than Microsoft Edge which is the only browser I'm able to use right now.

My Firefox stopped working and now no pages load, cant access the setting, passwords, etc. i can write an adress in the search bar but it just wont load, no endless loading just a greyed out icon. I Have reinstalled firefox multipletimes aswell as refreshed it.

Hello, I have not been having any issues with Firefox for about a year. Yesterday morning, when I came into the office and loaded up Firefox the same way I had been for a year, it was not behaving in the way I would expect. Web pages were not loading and I wasn't able to 'refresh' pages in the normal way. Firefox is basically unusable for me at this point. When I open Firefox, none of the tabs will open to the website. All of my old tabs were there but don’t show anything. If I open a new tab it will open but will not show anything. I tried to refresh Firefox, and the tab not open. I tried to close fire fox and reopen it and fire fox would not reopen. I tried restarting my computer and opening Firefox and Firefox will not open. I tried to uninstall Firefox and my computer told me that Firefox was running. I shut down my computer and then uninstall Firefox. When I reinstalled Firefox it would not open.

As of 4pm est 2/8/22, firefox was working fine, it updated around 10PM and has been broken ever since. I can't even get it to open except for right after a full computer restart. when it does open it's just a gray screen, can't even go into the settings. websites don't load. refreshing does nothing. reinstalling and refreshing does nothing. I don't even get an error message. chrome works. IE works. nothing on my end has changed. I have 2 extensions. ublock origin, and web shield. I've turned both on and off with no effect. I let it go for a day to see if it's something on mozilla's end, nothing doing. it's now 4pm est 2/9/22 and the problem still exists.

I run windows 10 home version 21H1, with full up to date drivers. that hasn't changed.

this only started when it updated to the most recent update.

After the most recent "upgrade", I cannot access my old tabs and there is no restore previous session option under history, plus everything is exceedingly slow. How do I contact a staff member? What is a telephone number for support?

When attempting to load websites in firefox, i enter a URL into the address bar and hit enter and then... Nothing. It's like Firefox isn't even attempting to begin a connection to websites. I have tried multiple uninstall/reinstalls of the program, I have removed all extensions I can, I've attempted clearing my cache, none of these things worked. the version I have installed is 97.0.

Will not load anything. It will start up in a new tab, cannot open about:config, cannot open settings, bookmarks, nothing. It will not go anywhere, do anything or show anything at all.

As of yesterday, Firefox won't load any webpages or firefox pages (e.g. settings, config, etc.). I've tried refreshing the install, uninstall/reinstall, and updating my Microsoft visual c++ redistributables and this problem persists. By "not loading webpages," I mean that it doesn't even show that it's directing to any webpages when I attempt to route to them. Any advice?

Firefox will only open in the background of my computer no matter how many times I try to open it. I have reinstalled Firefox and deleted and reinstalled its files many times. When I try to open Firefox, my mouse shows that it loads and then it only opens in the background. I have tried safe mode and editing my profiles too.

Hello All, I'm having a issues with firefox on windows 10. I have been using it for years and this is the first time i have had this issues. Firefox will not load, if it dose it just a blank screen, I can not go out to any web page. I have tryed the work around, uninstall and reinstall noting is working. Has any see this before. My last step is looking like reinstalling windows be seeing how firefox is working on other PC i have in the house i do not wish to do this. Can any one please help me.

I am setting up new laptop running windows 10. I have installed Firefox browser several times with same result. Once installed Firefox will not launch reliably. If I restart computer, firefox will sometimes launch. Very frustrated, have used Firefox for 10 years on several machines with no issues. I am running Firefox 96.03 on a different laptop with no issues. Can I upload an older version of Firefox on my new laptop or can you help me fix the new version so it will work?

Well firefox was fine yesterday, today i open my computer up and it will not load anything. No home screen, type something in it doesnt try to load. I cannot open settings, i can click it, but it does nothing (the hamburger drop down works)

Edge works fine, but firefox is goofy.

Pc information: Amd ryzen 5 3600 6-core 16.0gb ram 64bit Windows 10 home Version 21H2 Osbuild: 19043.1526 Ethernet connection (also tried wireless, same results) 1tb free space

I've done everything I can think of. I've ended the task, restarted my pc, uninstalled, reinstalled. Nothing has helped. It's a miracle I can still launch the file, it maybe starts once every 7 tries. I have no idea what happened or what I'm doing wrong, but its been like 2 hours and I'm still beyond lost.

My laptop took an update on 2/8/22 and my Firefox stopped working. The toolbars showed up, but nothing in the main window and most sites wouldn't open. I uninstalled and reinstalled. It would work correctly for a couple of sites, but would just stop working. Only the toolbars (bookmarks and search) were on the screen. I removed the app data for Mozilla and uninstalled and re-installed again. It again worked normally, but only for a few minutes. Just toolbars and a white main window. My laptop was running Windows 10 when this happened. I went ahead and installed Windows 11 and did another re-install. Same thing. It worked for a short time and then quit. It doesn't seem to matter if I sign in and sync or not. I hope there's a fix for this. I love my Firefox! I'm using a different computer to send this. It is a Windows 10 machine that has the same update, and Firefox is working fine on this machine.

Browser stopped responding. Extensions didn't work. Regular reinstall left me in the same situation.

I have tried to do a clean install 4 or 5 times. Deleted profiles, went on a hunt for files to eliminate.

will do a google search 3 or 4 times after reinstall, but won't connect to other sites then it won't connect to google either. I'll get the 6 to 8 instances in the task manager that I have to kill.
