how stop firefox changing home page shortcuts. I keep missing old ones and don't want new ones unless added by me. TIA

En mi PC anterior tenía activa la sincronización de marcadores, la PC anterior fue robada, ahora al iniciar de nuevo con mi cuenta en Firefox, mis marcadores no se sincronizaron y perdí una gran cantidad de información recopilada en durante este año, algunos cursos que tomé y muchas referencias de accesos a sitios web.
Que se puede hacer para recuperar esta información?
