For some reason, IDM will not work in Firefox/DuckDuckGo. even though it worked a couple of weeks ago. I contacted IDM support who have tried everything they have, but no change.

Here is the issue: 1. I open Firefox (Duck Duck Go is my default) (132.0.2 (64-bit) 2. I type "vintage sci fi movies" 3. Click on "videos" 4. Pick any movie (example: The Phantom Planet (black and white but this does not matter) 5. In the Choose How you Watch, I click the left icon - Watch Here, and not Watch on YouTube; also click Remember my choice 6. The movie starts but there is no IDM dialogue 7. If I then click Watch on YouTube inside the movie, it switches to YouTube and the movie starts, AND the IDM dialogue pops up.

As I said, this worked in Firefox/DDG a couple of weeks ago.

IDM version is 6.42 Build 23, full (paid for) version Oct 15 2024 The IDM Integration Module in Firefox shows as Version 6.42.22, last updated Oct 28 2024.

Can you assist please.

I have used Firefox for longer than I care to remember and have never had any problem with it but this morning I switched on my PC and a new AI side bar has appeard on the left and I don't want it. Can you please make it so we can remove it and looking around the internet, I know I'm not the only one with this opinion.

I recently upgraded to the latest version 132.0.2. There's a vertical sidebar on my browser that I would like to remove. I looked into the customize sidebar settings but can't seem to find a way to remove it completely. I've also attached a screenshot. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

When open Google Drive using Firefox, I cannot click on any documents. I can open folders but the documents in these folders I cannot open. I can open Google Docs and then access documents but all documents through Google Drive including in the Shared Folder are greyed out and when I click on any of these I get the pop up "This file cannot be opened because you're offline." I can access Google Drive and its documents using Chrome. I would prefer to use Firefox.

I have updated Firefox, cleared the history, and emptied cache and cookies. I also logged out of and then back into my gmail account.

I am looking to turn on review checker and cannot see how to do it. I don't have the price tag icon displayed nor do I have any reference to Review Checker in my settings. I'm wondering if my version of Firefox supports it (133.0). Any ideas?

I am so frustrated. Although I'm relatively computer literate, I cannot find a way to stop that sidebar from opening up on Firefox Browser 133.0. I'm using Windows 11 Pro. I can find no button that allows me to either delete it or prevent it from opening. For heavens sake, not everyone wants all this stuff. I just want a great browser with minimal things to have to deal with. It is irritating to have to deal with this when there appears to be no simple solution to get rid of it. I do not feel comfortable with having to try to delete a profile element. Just give me the button to say I don't want it showing up when I open Firefox on my computer. It can't be that difficult. I use the menu bar at the top of the page to deal with bookmarks. I don't need a sidebar. Give me the option to get rid of it. It will always be there to hit the button on again if I choose to but I know I never will. It interferes with my page. If it isn't fixing something that is broken, and you want to try new things, fine. But give me the option to delete it from my experience.

I'm receiving the following errors on my Firefox browser: Procedure entry point & couln't load XPCOM. I still have the old icon on my laptop, but I downloaded a new icon/app, and it doesn't have any of my passwords or favorite pages. Is there any way to access my old Firefox browser?

Need to know why this problem of Firefox (on Linux) suddenly arose. When attempting to make audio or video calls it responds with, Does not work on Firefox browser. Yet it continues to work with about half my contacts.

Hi, having an issue where new tabs crash while browsing.

Will be fine for 30 minutes or so but opening a new tab/clicking on a bookmark leads to Gah. Your tab just crashed.

Using a working tab is OK as long as I stay on the same site.

All drivers are updated.

Once it happens, I close my browser and I am then fine for a while.

Removed all themes/add-ons in case of conflict but still same issue so re-added.

Any advice appreciated.

I am running Mac Big Sur, 11.7.10. When I am in Firefox version 127.0.2 and I go into any Google search, the tab crashes. It works in private browsing mode and also in other browsers but not in non-private browsing in Firefox. I have tried disabling extensions, add ons, etc. Nothing seems to help. This started happening a few weeks ago with any YouTube page also. How can I fix this? If I can't I will stop using Firefox as I cannot function like this. Please advise!

Some shades of white have a purple tinge to them. The amazon logo, certain themes, and other websites are slightly purple. This is only an issue in firefox, not any other program or browser.

I have been using [edited] @comcast.net as user name for Firefox account. I want to delete that email because I'm leaving comcast ASAP. I read instruction that say add a new email name as a secondary account and then delete the primary one above. I entered [edited[ @gmail.com. I got a message that said that account already exists. Since I didn't know that or remember any password for it, I entered [edited] @gmail.com and said "forgot password." I changed it Now Firefox won't let me in using the [edited] @gmail.com account. Would appreciate any help you can offer.

hello tried a few things from help docs on line. nothing working. just keeps happening. tabs will say gah. your tab just crashed. works for a bit but once happens.... have to close whole firefox and open again. just started happening yesterday. I have used firefox for many many years never a problem. Something was not updated right. Please tell me how to fix this once and for all. if not I have to leave using firefox this is driving me crazy. terrible. Hello I do not know what I have done, or how I have managed to do this, but EVERY TIME I start up my Firefox it asks me for my Windows sign-in login details.

I have gone through as many pages within the Firefox settings will allow, and I am unable to find anything that indicates how to turn this option off.

All I am wanting to do is press the Firefox icon, and for Firefox to start up, WITHOUT Firefox asking me for my Windows security login details.

Anybody have an answer for this issue please? I'll GREATLY appreciate any fix recommended to me for this issue.
