I keep getting notifications asking me to update firefox every couple of days. I download the update, it goes smoothly, the notification disappears, but it comes back in a day or two. I also have my setting to supposedly do updates automatically, but that doesn't seem to be working. Please help!

I just got a new to me computer and it has Firefox 125.0.3 (64bit) but I was more comfortable with what I had Version 124.0.2 (64 bit). What would be the downside of changing to what I had? I just use it for home use and browsing. How would I go about making that change. I'm not to knowledgeable about computer language and stuff. Thanks, Larry

I am writing to report an issue I have encountered while using the Firefox browser. Specifically, I am unable to take screenshots on the website https://hescoebill.pk/hesco-mis/. This issue persists despite numerous attempts, and it seems to be unique to this particular website. Is there any other way to take screenshot of site? I really want to take a screenshot for personal reason. Is it not allowed from the site owner side or what?

I'm testing different Debian 12 on multiple VMs, it came to my surprise to see that my VPN hash I used on a website the day before was saved by Firefox on the new VM.

The Sync was on but then which one saved my form (hash)?

1. Numbered list item Logins & Passwords ? note: The hash was not a login but a form. If Firefox saves all the form, you should explicitly rename Logins by any forms/inputs.
2. Numbered list item History? note: I hope this is only URLs.

If Firefox is savings "forms" (input fields) not just "logins" then it should be explicitly written. Is it an expected behavior?

Just updated a friend's computer from Windows 7 to 10. Installed firefox over previous ESR and now there's no way to remove the search bar from the new tab page. On my W10 system, the search bar isn't there, not sure how or why, but on her's there's no option NOT to show it as there used to be.

I found some VERY old (2014) info on this but doesn't seem to be up to date.

PLEASE give us our options back and stop taking them away, sheesh, getting as bad as Microsoft.

Is there a workaround for this to remove the redundant search bar from the new tab page since you can search from the address bar?

Our website The Last Price is based in Qatar that have different category products like iPhone Mobile Phones, Tablets & Earbuds, Home Appliances, Accessories (Mobile Covers & Cases, Keyboards & Controllers, etc.) and many other eCommerce products.

As I mention above that we have different ecommerce products which we only want to sell in Qatar but we are getting some other countries traffic like USA, Pakistan, Germany, Brazil, Argentina, so how we can block these countries or anything in Google Search Console which help to keep the website with country specific?

Is there any specific Mozilla Firefox extension that you recommend or any HTML code help to block other country traffic?

I have read through the user threads and tried everything I could find including malware searching and, of course, setting google as my search preference but no matter what I try the splash page for Firefox (re-installed twice) is Yahoo. Has anyone found a cure for this issue on their Mac - my Mac parameters are in the attached screenshot.

I was using FF on Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS. Had version FF 120.x and playing video in Netflix worked fine. Then I updated to FF 124.x and playing video stopped with error F7355-1203.

I've checked the DRM setting and it is enabled, I checked addons and I have OpenH264 and Widevine installed, both set to always active.

I've checked installed codecs and I do have libavcodec58 installed. No update for that available via apt. I also have ffmpeg installed, no problem with that either. I can play Netflix videos in Chrome, but not in Firefox now. Something happened to Firefox when I updated from 120.x to 124.x. Today I updated to 125.x, same problem, Netflix video won't play.

I've unchecked the DRM setting and re-checked it, and that does reinstalled Widevine but does not fix the problem.

Any ideas what could be the cause?

With the exception of the Home and Catalog pages in the yotsuba theme, all boards default to black and only on Firefox, not Safari or Chrome browsers.

Any idea how to fix this? I'm looking to get back my default Yotsuba theme.

I use google as my default firefox home page on my HP laptop. recently a second tab opens at the same time. "how to set the home page" --I've tried closing it and restarting the laptop, but it continues to pop up every time I open firefox as a 2nd tab. I am/was happy with my homepage opening to google. How can I get rid of this second tab. thanks

I purchased a new computer, was finally able to download Firefox. When I go to use it, frigging Microsoft BING come up. How do I fix it? Thank you for your help. Susan

PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY - Thru Firefox, I use Tineye to find related photos - I use it all the time, it's been great - I always use a VPN and have never had problems until now (as of yesterday). Now it won't search, a verify you're human window comes up, and I have to keep clicking squares, which I do - but then it says to allow cookies and start over. Well I don't want to allow cookies (Firefox-Mozilla kinda encourages using their tools to block cookies, which I much prefer), and I CANT FIND WHERE TO ALLOW (not yelling its just that I said this before and it wasn't noticed) cookies even if I did (I went to Firefox preferences all I could find was under privacy & security cross-site cookies but that did nothing) and I don't want to disable my VPN. Maybe I should mention that I just added or started a Mozilla account, as I have had immense trouble with my aol emails, and am trying to move everything over to a gmail account. My sign in to Firefox was the aol email, and I had to try (I thought I did it) add another account, which I think I did successfully. So it was right after that, that all this started. Help please! I did get the following reply, saying to allow cookies (BUT I DON"T KNOW HOW OR WHERE TO DO IT) and something about a new browser profile and to stay out of my sync account, and I APOLOGIZE, but I have no clue what all that means. What is a broweser profile, what is a sync account and how do I stay out of it? I guess well I know i'm not too smart about this kinda stuff, so I apologize but I think I need detailed step by step what to do to fix this. I know thats a lot of typing, sorry.

When attempting to load a number of different web pages such as Quickbooks Online Apps, the page displays "Loading Apps..." with a spinning wheel, but never redirects to the Apps page; the site hangs forever. On other browsers there are no issues; it eventually switches to the correct page. In Firefox Browser I have tried adding exceptions in Settings --> Privacy & Security --> Manage Exceptions. No change. Thoughts?

Netflix all of a sudden wont work on firefox after update. still works on edge and my computer in other room which has an update firefox popup that i have not done yet. i reset drm already. it wont even sign in through firefox. i was on the phone with netflix for an hour they said use chrome which i hate or edge which is equally horrible but both work just not firefox. f7111-1957-205002 this code popped once. never had this kind of problem before. i already cleared cash and redownloaded firefox and all that jazz.

I use a web application that lists items in a table, which provides a link to download the table as a CSV file. It used to work fine in previous versions of Firefox. However, in the current version, while the file save dialog defaults to a filename that ends in .csv and CSV is selected in the "Save as type:" drop-down, the data in the file that Firefox actually saves is in XML rather than CSV format. I don't know in which version of Firefox this behavior changed, as it's been a couple years since I tried to use this feature. Or I suppose it actually could be a new bug. I do know that when I use the same feature in Microsoft Edge, it saves the CSV file in the correct format, so this behavior seems to be peculiar to Firefox, rather than anything wrong with the web application.

I've been having an issue logging into Gmail using Firefox. I've used both Gmail and Firefox for years and have never had a problem, but I now get stuck in an endless loop on the Gmail login page. I select my account, enter my password, then get sent back to the account selection page.

The problem seems to be relating to me trying to link two Gmail addresses so that mail from one is forwarded to the other. I set up one account this way without any issue, but when I went to do it with a different account, I got an error code. After that, I was logged out of Gmail in Firefox and haven't been able to log back in.

Things I've tried so far:

• Using a different browser. I can log in without issues in Chrome.
• Logging in with a different method. Neither my password nor my passkey work.
• Logging in with a different Gmail account. All of my accounts seem to be stuck in this way.
• Disabling all my extensions. This doesn't help.
• Clearing Firefox's cache. No luck here.
• Restarting Firefox and restarting my PC. Turning it off and on again doesn't fix it.
• Contacting Google support. They said they think it's a browser issue as I don't have any problems using Chrome.
• Using Firefox's private browsing mode. This does work and I can log in to Gmail. However, I don't know exactly what the problem is because I've disabled all my extensions and cleared the cache in regular browsing mode and still can't log in that way.

So I have a partial solution (using Firefox's private browsing mode) but it's not a long-term fix. What else can I try? Has anyone else seen this problem before and been able to fix it?
