I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

While doing a routine plugin check for latest versions here, I got the message that a newer version of the Microsoft Silverlight plugin was available from Microsoft. When I tried to download the installation executable from Microsoft, the download managed to lock up Firefox each time I attempted it (about 5 times or so) -- in the process, the file I was automatically given to download was identified as a 64 bit executable, despite the fact that Firefox 8.0.1 is a 32-bit application (I do have the 64 bit version of Windows 7 Professional). At this point, I don't know which version of the newer plugin I need, nor how to get it. Help!

I use mozilla to open internet and suddenly in the search engine box at top it brings me to Babylon.com which I have never seen before. I uninstalled the program through the control panel but it still appears when I open mozilla. I do not trust it and I think it is affecting my hotmail as when I sign in it will not allow mw to delete messages or signout using the signout button which I always wish to do. I do not like to just close page. The sign in page keeps flashing as connecting at the top left of the computer, rather than just saying connected.

Computer is on line as I can ping external addresses, and other browers work. I have done all suggested steps and it doesn't resolve issue. I have uninstalled/reinstalled, rebooted, checked proxy, security settings, and still no luck.

Starting happening in the middle of the day after no issues. Computer is on line with no other issues.

Is autocomplete data editable? These days you have to fill out everything down to your inside leg measurement just to ask a simple question and it has gone from a nice to an essential feature. There is a lot of old data that could be deleted or updated.

i have a problem.Flash Player upgrade required You must download and install the latest version of the Adobe Flash Player to view this content. but my Flash player is updated. i use ubuntu10.4, firefox 8.0

Suddenly my web page on Tiscali gets smaller. I can't get it back to a normal size as there are no suitable tool bars. On I E and Chrome it is still the normal size. Help!

search.conduit.com has taken over as my home page when using Firefox. I do not want it as my home page, I want Google. Everytime I reset Google as my home page conduit comes back. I have tried uninstalling it but it doesn't work - how do I get rid of it (in words of one syllable please, I am not a computer geek!)

when i tried to open certain porn website like xhamster, xvideos, pornhub and other porn sites. fire fox opens the main page but when i click on any video to open, it opens a page on top of which it is written OBJECT MOVED TO HERE. where this HERE is underlined and when i click on HERE it opens the youtube website. i restarted fire fox and also re started my computer many times but problem remains the same. i have been using and watching all these site since long but never such thing occur. this is the first time i am having this problem. please let me know how i can solve this problem???

When my computer is open my son can access the internet through Firefox. I want to prevent this by adding a password whenever trying to log in to the internet. How do I set this up?

Before I upgrade to Firefox 10, I would like to know how to disable the "The forward button is now hidden until you navigate back" functionality that was added to Firefox 10. How does one disable that functionality so that the forward button is always shown?
