LINUX. see subject, please. i started on this laptop w/ mint. 5 or 6 years ago. then downloaded peppermint 1 and has been working great, but the browser does not update automatically like is said. Hello everyone. I do not know if any else has experienced this but I have several websites that I cannot sign in to. I have no problem reaching the sites but when it comes to signing in I either get a message that my sign in information is not correct and this happens on Bestbuy.com or I get this message on Chewy.com Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.chewy.com/app/login" on this server. Reference #18.88dcda17.1684871617.2bce7d64 . Now if I use the awful MS Edge I have no problem signing in to either one. I have racked my brain to figure this out even disabling each addon which I only have a few. I have ran scans for Malware with Norton 360, Malwarebytes and MSERT and nothing there. I was hoping someone could shed some light on this in some way or maybe change a setting in Firefox that I am overlooking. I can access these sites fine and move around in them but like I said I cannot sign in into them. I would greatly appreciate any help.

Respectfully, DT

We have set up exceptions for mail.google.com and accounts.google.com in Settings. Yet, Gmail is still asking for passwords to log in and saving them. I thought I had done all it would take to have Gmail remember them. Am I missing something?

Also, we cleared cache.

Is there a security setting that allows me to show all my passwords rather than having to toggle them on each time?

I am a recluse. There's never anyone looking over my shoulder. I just don't want to have to mess with it anymore.

If there isn't, could some kind developer please make an add-on?

I am using two computers: an iMac (late 2009) running 10.13.6 (High Sierra) and a Macbook Pro (13-inch, 2012) running 10.15.7 (Catalina).

Thank you!

I have been trying all afternoon and no matter how fast I am, I am getting this message.

Document Expired

This document is no longer available.

The requested document is not available in Firefox’s cache.

As a security precaution, Firefox does not automatically re-request sensitive documents.
Click Try Again to re-request the document from the website.

When I click Try Again, I get logged out of the website I am on. What am I doing wrong? Is there a way to extend the time so I am able to reasonably enter the data into the form and not have it time out. I was able to the enter this information in the past without a problem.

The website is https://www.mysynchrony.com/ and I select one of my accounts and I am trying to add a bank account and I am unable to do so. Please help.

Please excuse me if I miss any details.... this is my third time trying to submit this issue.

I will just skip to the meat of it this time. I'm getting this error while working from my localhost. I have been working on a personal project for years with this set up with no issues until today. I can no longer click on the errors in the console log and be directed to the Debugger tab. When I click on errors, nothing happens. If I try to open them in a New Tab, I get the error below:

The address wasn’t understood

Firefox doesn’t know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (webpack) isn’t associated with any program or is not allowed in this context.

You might need to install other software to open this address.

I have also noticed firefox does not even load all the files until I refresh it at least twice. Even when it is all loaded properly, the error persists.

I have tried: - restarting firefox - restarting my computer - clearing ALL cache and cookies - running firefox in safe mode - disabling all add ons - disabling performance mode (was already off) - checking network.protocol-handler.external.javascript = false (it is)

Let me know if there is any other information I can provide. I really dislike having to work in chrome for this so I hope I can find a solution as soon as possible.

I have been using an old version of Firefox (109.0.1). I am not typically using a newer version because of an essential - to me - add-on which hasn't been updated, and which doesn't work in more recent versions.

On macOS Sierra this old version of Firefox crashes. Troubleshooting mode (I was prompted a number of times) and restarting the browser appears to eventually resolve the crash, but finally there is an issue with the memory and the browser doesn't "work."

The reason for the crash given is " MozCrashReason: Failed to load critical module "resource://gre/modules/WebNavigation.jsm" "

The crash report text is reproduced below: __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Dear Mozilla Support, [please forgive my poor English - FRENCH is my mother tongue]

CONTEXT - I use a Linux (Peppermint) Live DVD to surf the Web, always on the same laptop. I do NOT use any hard disk inside that laptop, just the Live DVD spinned by a DVD player. Only the RAM stores data => fresh new distro for every session - years ago, I created a Firefox account, and the Sync worked perfectly, and allowed me to back up my Bookmarks AND my Opened Tabs (they are stored in Mozzila's cloud, and after each sign in and a sync, they reappear in the left panel). Regarding the Synced Tabs, the left panel used to store all the previous Live DVD sessions (generally with the device's name: peppermint's Linux... (IIRC). - i do NOT use several devices, and do NOT wish to sync date acreoss them. I use Sync to get my Bookmarks and Opened Tabs synced across successive Firefox sessions, day after day. I worked perfectly well.

PROBLEM Since a few weeks, I noted that despite login and sync, on the left panel - Synced Tabs are now empty: no tabs synced at all => so I cannot seamlessly find back my opened tabs from one session to another (if I switch off my laptop, then later restart a new Live DVD session) - see screenshot = https://imgur.com/LO6jWLYl.png - Bookmarks are nevertheless still perfectly synced (see screenshot = https://i.imgur.com/Td0nbY2.png)

Many thanks for you help. Kind regards from Europe.
