Firefox doesn't remember which desktop windows should open on

I recently reinstalled Windows 11, Firefox used to remember which windows I had on which desktops and would open the appropriate windows on Desktop 1, Desktop 2, etc when… (funda kabanzi)

I recently reinstalled Windows 11, Firefox used to remember which windows I had on which desktops and would open the appropriate windows on Desktop 1, Desktop 2, etc when I restarted my computer. It doesn't do that anymore. Every time I close Firefox and reopen it, it opens every single window on Desktop 1. Weirdly, even if I reorder my desktops, it'll still open every window on whichever desktop used to be Desktop 1, even if the number has changed.

I've tried deleting xulstore.json, refreshing Firefox, and even uninstalling Firefox and deleting all of Mozilla's files in every directory, but it just won't open the windows on the desktop I had moved them to.

i played with the size of vertical tabs on the left. i resized the bar so that it is not displayed at all. anyone had same issue?

New Tab Groups feature doesn't work, tabs won't combine

Running FF 138 64-bit on Win 10 Home, and tabs won't combine. When I move one tab over another, I get NO GLOWING RING, and the tabs just swap places as I move the first … (funda kabanzi)

Running FF 138 64-bit on Win 10 Home, and tabs won't combine. When I move one tab over another, I get NO GLOWING RING, and the tabs just swap places as I move the first tab over the second one, no matter how slowly I move them. It doesn't work in Vertical Tabs, either.

Hello, I recently had 20+ tabs open in Firefox. I moved 1 tab of the 20 to be a separate page and closed the other tabs. Now I am unable to re-open the other tabs through the 'Recently Closed Tab' feature. That feature only shows a few new tabs I opened on the separate page. Is the only option to painstakingly search through history over several months to re-open several tabs I had open for several months? Thank you the feedback, Ken

I am trying to access my account at Now Finance (nowfinance.com.au) and I can't get past the login challenge. I have changed my password on the site several times with no change in the result. I can login OK with Opera and Google, but not firefox.

I don't need to login now. I have done my business using Chrome, but I think the above is something you need to know.
