I just switched to Firefox from Chrome, because Chrome was crashing all the time.

All I want to do is sync my computer, laptop, phone and Ipad's reading list. I want to be able to see an article on one device, add to the reading list, and have it on all devices.

I'm logged in under the same name on all, and it says sync is on, but the reading lists are different.

When Firefox is launched to maximized, the Windows Taskbar does not display when the Taskbar is set to Hide. Firefox takes over the entire screen. When I use two monitors and Firefox is on the second monitor it the toolbar is visible.

How can I stop this from occurring?

I have many hundreds of Bookmarks, maybe thousands, in a lot of Folders. However, a search will NOT find a Folder with the Search name.

Is there any way to get around this omission?

It used to automatically give me this selective option when opening the gmail account link... but that link has gone away in place of something much more cumbersome to negitiate.

Can you give me back my slow html gmail.com interface selection link like always before now?

I got these errors on my console when I load the page. Everything is correct, but after doing some actions (button clicks or text inputting), the web is crashing, and I get these errors in the console, and it starts infinitely reloading.

My Firefox tab crashes often. I eventually need to reboot Firefox. My Windows 11 patches is always up to date and I did system checkups often. I cleared cache files too.

Ever since switching to Windows 11 I've had an issue with Firefox. Any time I copy something in Firefox, be it image, article text, or even a url from the address bar, I cannot paste it anywhere, and my copy and paste stops working. The only way to fix it is to close Firefox, and then run rdpclip.exe as an administrator. I've confirmed the issue only occurs if I try copying from Firefox, as it doesn't happen in Edge.

Does anyone know what might be causing this. It's very frustrating.

When logged in to the Shopify Website (admin page) using Firefox browser, attempt to click any link on the page automatically makes the page disappear and re-loops to my Login Page. I've worked with Shopify's Tech team and their investigation suggested...1st-remove cookies and cache on Firefox (did not work), 2nd-they tested their site and came back with no problems, everything works, 3rd-Try using Google Chrome browser to see if I would experience same problem of re-looping to my Login Page, everything works...no-re-looping to my Login Page and every link on the page works. On Shopify's Tech team recommendation as well as my desire to remain with Firefox browser, I need to get this problem of "page disappearing/re-looping to Login Page" on Shopify website fixed. I was watching Youtube when my audio suddenly cut out. My speakers are fine - audio on other browsers or on local videos work perfectly fine.

I've tried refreshing Firefox and clearing cache, but neither of these work.

I want to use Classic Bing as my homepage on Firefox. But, Microsoft has shoved New Bing down our throats for most of the year. There's a large white search box AND an enormous gray box "Introducing the New Bing." Both of these boxes take up half of the homepage, and completely obscure the Bing daily image, the only reason I use Bing. How in the world can Firefox help me get rid of these New Bing annoyances and let me enjoy the Bing daily images?

I have multiple "instances" of all of my bookmarks in my Library--specifically, the Bookmarks Menu, the Folders within that menu and all of the individual bookmarks within each folder. (See attached; I'm just keeping the Bookmark Menu level but trust me, each one of those 5 instances has the exact same list of Folders and associated bookmarks.) I just want to see ONE instance of them in my library, not all of these redundant instances. When I delete ANY bookmark or folder in ANY of the multiple instances, ALL instances of that bookmark or folder get deleted. Searching the forums, I get solutions for combining duplicates, or backup/restoring bookmarks, or "turning off sync." But none of these relate to my issue (e.g., sync has never been on). They don't act like duplicates (where if you delete one the other remains). It acts as if there are multiple "pointers" to the same menu/folder/bookmark.

Can someone please assist with how I can get rid of the redundant instances/listings of the Bookmark Menu, folders and bookmarks without deleting all of them? I'd ideally like to keep the first one, underneath the Bookmarks Toolbar, so it shows up at the top of my screen.

I want to report that spyware named FindItPro which I, foolishly, downloaded. Well, it's a virus, right? But no antivirus can delete it completely. It comes back and you can't find the source. So, there should be some problem in your browser that allows it to live.

I'll send you a website where I got it. [link to suspected malware removed] BE CAREFUL. Virus will be downloaded along with Opera browser or something. I'll send this report also to some antivirus company. Yes, I was foolish, but I hope you will fix it.

When I start FF I get a Windows popup requiring an admin username and pw to run Firefox Updater. I'm in a corporate environment and users don't have admin rights (which is standard for any company doing reasonable security). I checked the properties on firefox.exe and updater.exe and neither requires admin or is set to run in compatibility mode. Chrome and Edge update without an admin requirement.

Yesterday I logged out of my friend's account on their device without selecting the "delete all data" by my mistake, and logged into my own which syncs all my bookmarks across accounts. After logging in for about 4 hours, I signed out, read long enough to select the "delete all data" checkmark, and shutdown their computer.

This evening, I have realized my account has hundreds of bookmarks unrelated to my account. After some confirmation I now know this information is from the laptop I synced from, and all this data was synced in some 5 hours.

Is there a way I can backup my sync data to the morning before this happened? And if I deleted my friends data, can they recover their bookmarks/browser info another way? (they wouldn't have synced to my data since I deleted only mine after I logged out).

recently i upgraded firefox to version 117.0.1. Soon after that when i close my firefox window and later than open new session, the old tabs do not reopen. This is even when i have "Open previous windows and tabs" option checked in general section of firefox setting. attached is the screenshot for the same. pls help.

Many websites I use on a regular basis have become unusable on firefox which i have used for over a decade. I can't change my Flickr cover photo because the pop up window is too huge, can't view a complete google doc because the thing is enormous, etc. The issue is that I MUST have the ability to set text in firefox to larger and I do so via the view - zoom in and zoom text only options. I have to have this ability because I have a visual disability. I do not have this issue using chrome but I detest chrome and want to keep using firefox, but entire portions of windows are cut off when they open up and I can't access them by zooming out either. The only thing that changes is the text gets so small that it is totally unreadable. This is a HUGE problem for me. I will NOT change my default windows setting to try and fix a firefox issue because that then screws up my window sizes for games, programs etc for my other software that I also use daily. So I won't be changing what works for 20 programs via windows settings to make ONE browser work better. This is a firefox problem, and firefox needs to fix it. I have tried multiple solutions cited online and nothing is working. If firefox is trying to get rid of it's users with visual disabilities, this is the way to go. How do I get back a previous session of Firefox (windows)? Firefox froze up. I restarted my computer. Now my session in Firefox doesn't show up at all in 'History'. Isn't there a way to recover a previous session?? I've never had this issue before and had a lot of important tabs in that session that would take many hours to try and find in my complete history from all links.....
