I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

For years we have been able to login to two different websites running on different ports on the same host with our Firefox browser (The last working version was 102.14.0-3.el7_9) our RHEL 7.x system. When I accessed the different sites, there was two Authentication Decisions, one sending one cert (We will call it CertA) to the system and the other listing sending a different cert (We will call that CertB) to the system, same hostname though.

I updated the Firefox browser to 115.7.0-1.el7_9 and ever since, when I navigate to the first website, it remembers the first Authentication Decision to send CertA to the system and works as intended. Then, I try to navigate to the second site and I never get prompted to pick a cert for the second site (CertB is what it should prompt for) and the connection attempt fails with a "Secure Connection Failed, Error code: SSL_ERROR_UNKNOWN_CA_ALERT" message.

If I go and delete the Authentication Decision for CertA, then go to the CertB site, I get prompted for the cert decision and I am able to login just fine. But, then if I try to go to the CertA site, I get the same error listed above.

I can use a band aid to check the "History > Always use private browsing mode" checkbox (Which never remembers the Auth. Decision) option in Firefox, then have to remember to close the browser each time I want to navigate from one site to the next. But I have never had to do that in the past and wondering if this is a new bug or if it is somehow considered a "Security Feature" or something.

I searched around the net a bit and couldn't find a way to manually add an Authentication Decision myself. Is that possible somehow with a config file edit on our Linux system somewhere?

I'm currently consuming APIs hosted on an external server using Java( or any other server side language), and everything works smoothly. However, when attempting to consume the same APIs in JavaScript, I encounter the 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' error.

After some research, I discovered that browsers implement security checks leading to this issue. Can anyone advise on how to disable these security checks or resolve this issue when accessing the website in the Firefox browser? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

i made a custom firefox colour setup for my desktop machine, and it doesn't have any option to save it- because of this, on my laptop which is synchronized to my desktop's firefox settings, it is not showing up at all and if i go to firefox colour it isn't there for me to add. so how do i DO this???

i do not want to maker my custom setup public so it is not available to all, it is my own setup using some of my own artwork which i do NOT want made public on the internet.

there MUST be a way to save it however and let my laptop's firefox also display it,m yes???

and on that topic, why isn't it just automatically synchronizing when everything else does?

When using multi-point headphones (I'm using open-runs) that are connected to my Windows 10 computer, while Firefox is open, the headphones think that audio is playing, even when it is not.

Closing Firefox fixes the issue, but playing any music from youtube/soundcloud and then pausing it does nothing to tell the multi-point headphones that audio is no longer playing.

Any help on getting Firefox to not do this is appreciated.

Sorry to trouble you, i recently un-pinned mozila from the task bar by mistake, as its my main browser i re-pinned it from the icon on my desk top, now i have lost all my logins and passwords and some recently saved bookmarks. Would there be a way of recovering them, again sorry to trouble you. Nigel

Здравствуйте. К своему стыду не могу разобраться. Поставил опции, во вкладке безопасность, удалять Куки и Историю по выходу из Firefox. При этом история сохраняется, при последующем запуске браузера. Так же при следующем запуске браузера, при авторизации на сайтах, автоматически заполняется поле "логин", "телефон". Как сделать что бы не заполнялся и была очищена история? Спасибо.

I have the same problem https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1421734 it's not a pdf. If I want to print a shipping label from eBay using Firefox nothing happens if I try to make it bigger. I can make it smaller but it is too small to begin with. If I use Brave or Edge (using the same printer) it works I can adjust it and make it bigger up to 200 %. I have already reset the printer options in Firefox and tried when disabling all add-ons.

windows 10 pro pc show all the booklinks however, synch to an Iphone 14 to ipad 9th generation and it does not synch. I have tried all the fixes and nothing works. Time to stop using Mozilla products? what the devil is going on with the Mozilla staff? Hard to provide a contribution when products don't work!

I want the tab button to stop navigating any web page. Im tired of the alt tab shortcut moving my focus around and forcing me to completely refresh a page just to interact with it again.

Please do not tell me to use about:config browser.toolbars.keyboard_navigation. It doesnt work because its not what im looking for. I want to disable the tab key in my browser. Period. 100% gone. Stop bothering me ever again type deal.

Is there a way to disable tab key navigation that doesnt require a year of coding experience with an obscure addon that probably doesnt work as of 10 updates ago?

I want GPO option in ADDS, which do not open closed pages where i login by user and password. For example udemy.com where i logged by user and password, close Mozila. Next open mozila put udemy.com and it open last session as authenticated status (User and Pass). I do not want this.

I can not log into my Harley ride planner account. Its not the websight as I can log in on my I phone. I get this message.The resource at “https://www.harley-davidson.com/etc/designs/h-d/images/dropdown-arrow-white-2.png” was blocked by OpaqueResponseBlocking. Reason: “nosniff is true and mimeType is an opaque-blocklisted MIME type or its essence is 'text/plain'”. How do I fix this? Thank you Paul

I've read all of the recommendation on how to keep links from opening in another window. Tried them all to no avail. This is a new problem. Anybody out there finding the same issue? Find a fix?

Recently my browser stopped opening in full screen. It opens in a little box that is usually partially off screen. I have not changed any settings and do not understand why this is happening. I maximize the window which usually has to be done twice (meaning I hit the maximize window twice to get it to go completely back to full screen). I have also tried dragging the corners of the window to maximum size, but the following day it will go back to not opening in full screen. If someone could help me with this, I would really appreciate it.

This AM, I opened my Firefox Browser for the first time today and attempted to sign into my EaseUS account. I was confronted by a "request" to add "Browsing Safety by Safely" as an add-on to my Firefox. However, it would not let me to skip this "request" without adding it to Firefox. Nothing I attempted worked. I've never heard of a compulsory add-on, least of all from Mozilla! If I would have had the time, I'd have tried different accounts/log-ons/browsers, etc. However, I didn't have the time to do it then. Help please.

What is this? Have you heard of it? Do I have a problem? Should I remove the Add-On?

I've been trying to reply to moderator "Phil" who requested information regarding Firefox crashing while on Youtube. When I press "Post reply" all I get is an error message:

It's important "Phil" gets my message as others may be affected my possible Youtube shenanigans. If possible, can you forward this message to "Phil": Unfortunately there are only two reports generated during the problems with Youtube:

The problem caused my system to stop responding forcing me to power cycle to clear my PC, so no reports could be generated. Hopefully these two will show what the problem is. In the meantime, can you check the reply system to make certain it's working properly?
