Hello everyone,

I'm currently consuming APIs hosted on an external server using Java( or any other server side language), and everything works smoothly. However, when attempting to consume the same APIs in JavaScript, I encounter the 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' error.

After some research, I discovered that browsers implement security checks leading to this issue. Can anyone advise on how to disable these security checks or resolve this issue when accessing the website in the Firefox browser? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

So I have two different accounts for one website. However one of them I use very rarely, maybe once in 2-3 months the other one i use almost daily. Therefore I have saved both logins in Firefox and I can see them in my passwords.

The problem is that whenever I try to access the website, Firefox auto-fills the "second" account, the one i only use rarely. What this means is that instead of me being able to just press login i have to delete the username filled in by Firefox and select the other one. So what i would like to do is to maybe tell Mozilla that I want it to use the other account for auto-fill.

My Windows Task Scheduler contains an entry called "Firefox Default Browser Agent". If I delete it, it returns. If I disable it, it re-enables itself. Can't be modified either. How do I turn it off permanently?

I already have telemetry and automatic updates both turned off.

In about:config default-browser-agent.enabled is set to false

I've had this for a few months now and it's driving me crazy.

I have blocked reddit.com, http://www.reddit.com, https://www.reddit.com, I delete the cookies, it keeps coming back. So I finally deleted every trace of Firefox off my computer, deleting the library files, everything. I download a brand new copy of Firefox, start it up and within seconds have a reddit.com cookie. There are no reddit pages open, no tabs, no nothing.

Also, I keep reading that you can right-click or control-click on a cookie to inspect it but that does not work for me on FF 115.4. I cannot find any way to look at the cookie code in Firefox.

I'm on the verge of just giving up on Firefox at this point. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When a "+" sign is entered, alone, into address bar, a list of some visited sites instantly appears. How do I delete these sites and prevent sites from being saved in the future?

I've searched everywhere I can find for an answer to this question, or for a place to submit it, and failed.

In Privacy & Security > History I've un-checked all except "Clear history when Firefox closes" which is checked. In > "Address Bar--Firefox Suggest", I've disabled all options.

I clear "Recent History, Everything" (Cookies and Site Settings are left unchecked) frequently.

Thank you for your help!

How to disable search suggestion in address bar in case of 404 errors?

I'm a software developer working on some web application and sometimes need to manually add URL components in the address bar of an open tab simpyl to test something. For example I have some tab open shwoing the web page under "http://localhost:8080/entry" and I need to test "http://localhost:8080/entry/foobar" by manually adding "/foobar" to the URL. Depending on if "/foobar" exists or not, either some web page is shown or inc ase of a HTTP status code 404 Firefox automatically opens a new tab and forwards my input as search to Google.

That is not what I want. I want Firefox to simply show the HTTP status code 404 like the other browsers I use. Though, I want to be able to search in the address bar in general, only not in case there's an existing working URL open already and I change the child path only.

Is there some way to disable the behaviour of Firefox for 404s or do I need to completely disable searches in the address bar instead?

Thanks!
