Is there a way to check the settings on a page in firefox so we can inform our users if their PDF settings are changed?

We have set the PDF option to 'always ask' - but this (as everyone knows) keeps changing. Multiple posts outline that they change when a new version is installed.

When this happens, and a PDF is downloaded instead of being prompted with the pop-up, our users call requesting support. this would be nice if we had a couple users, but when you have hundreds, it causes support issues.

If there were a way to check the setting on the page, and inform the user that the setting is not correct, it would be helpful.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Why am I not able to sign in to my bank account on FIREFOX 99.0.1 (64-bit) ?! I called my bank and they said it is FIREFOX that has the problem and to go to a 'New Private Window' in the FIREBOX browser! After I did that I was able to sign in, but I do not want to use private window, I want to be able to just my regular FIREFOX browser which I have been doing for years until now with FIREFOX 99.0.1 (64-bit)!

I love screenshot by Mozilla. However, recently in the last few months (not sure) when the change happened, the timezone (stamp) at the end of the screenshot is NOT based on the "local" PC that is using it. I am in EST but it shows a different time zone which creates a problem. Since Mozilla Online is China based entity, I believe it is showing their timezone. I checked the settings and I could not find where to change the timezone to local time. This is key for many users as we need a "correct" local timezone.

Previous versions had this feature (automatically) and I did not have to set it up. Can we have the option to change the timezone please? Thanks.

I want to be able to preview pdfs in firefox in a new tab without first downloading the file like it used to. But this version (99) of firefox won't allow me to do that. I tried selecting the "action" for pdfs in the applications section of settings to "open in firefox". What it does is preview the pdfs without downloading indeed but it previews it in the SAME tab which makes browsing more difficult. If I select "always ask", and then select "open with firefox" in the dialogue box, it opens the pdf to a new tab alright but it downloads the file FIRST. Is there a way around this please?

I have used Firefox for years with my MSN/Outlook emails. Recently, something has changed that has caused typing emails to a nightmare. As I am typing the "system" is constantly suggesting text and I do not know how to remove that feature. Each time this happens I have to stop and either hit the tab key or fiddle around with the space bar to get past this problem and continue typing what I want to write. Also, as I am replying to an email, the "system" occasionally opens another email document and at the same time moves the email I am trying to respond to. It moves the email, not to trash, but to Archive. I never use the archive feature. How do I fix these problems. Something has obviously gotten changed in "settings" but I cannot figure out where or how to fix. The "suggested text" feature is disasterous and annoying and it has got to be removed somehow. Please help.

When I download a file before I even have a chance to save or open the file Firefox downloads the file and puts it on my desktop. I have to look at lots of .pdf files and this a bit annoying as I have to keep deleting all the files I dont want. The dialog box opens and I always choose open rather than save but Firefox has already saved a copy to my desktop. How can I stop this autosave please ? Cheers.

I have searched for this answer and can't find it, so I am hoping that it isn't here already and I just can't find it because of the way I am asking in the search box.......I would like to unsubscribe from an e-mail newsletter I am getting, but there is no "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the e-mail like there is on most of them I do receive. Is there a way in the Moz://a web site that this can be done? I am using a "mask" e-mail address and have done an unsubscribe with a different e-mail newsletter, but this one, I am not able to do just a simple "Unsubscribe".

On an IPAD, when I do the identical search on Firefox and Safari, on Safari, the results contain many stores with each store containing many small images. While the stores display for both, on Safari the images do display, but on Firefox, the results do not display the images. The blank spaces where the images would go are visible, but no images occupy those spaces. An example would be to search for 'scooters'. No such glitch happens using Firefox on macbook air

When I try to log into chase.com, I'm told my (FireFox) browser is out of date, but I am running the latest version. What can I do?

Today I tried to place an online order to pickup from Texas Roadhouse, but no matter what time I chose a message said it was not available. The only selection that worked was "Earliest Available Time". Finally I called to place an order. Firefox worked 2 months ago but I don't recall which version I was using at the time.

Today I was using FF vers 97.x and later updated to vers 99.0.1 figuring that might be the problem, but it made no difference.

Later I tried Windows 10 Edge & that worked. Then tried a Chromebook & that also worked.

I've also had problems going to the Tracfone website & so have several other people. It's hit or miss with Firefox & usually it doesn't work. But Chrome or Edge seem to work for everyone.

Is this a website problem or a FF problem?

I subscribe to the Times.co.uk but past few days am unable to navigate on the website eg if I press 'show more on the web page' nothing happens. `It does work however if I access using my Safari browser, so clearly not a 'Times' issue

Recently upgraded to a new Macbook and added the latest version of Firefox. For some reason, I am unable to upload or attach files on any website. This includes things like adding attachments to Gmail messages, uploading photos to Facebook, or uploading media to my Wordpress site. There is no error message or pop-up box -- when I click "attach" or "upload" absolutely nothing happens.

The same files upload without issue via Safari or by using Firefox on my older Macbook, so it's not a file-specific or website-specific issue.

How can I correct this? I like using Firefox as my default browser, and it's annoying to have to switch over to Safari every time I want to upload a file. I've searched older posts here, but the suggested fixes (restarting your computer, making sure location services are enabled) do not do anything.

In the previous version I could run streaming videos from Paramount Plus, in the latest version I cannot run them. I have no problems running them on Microsoft Edge.

How can I use Firefox?

I've noticed there is a "verified by Amazon" icon in my address bar next to the FF shield. How did it get there, can, or should, I remove it and how. I don't trust anything Amazon does, so if possible I would like it to be gone.
