There is "show in folder" menu for file in downloads. And it will launch my file manager at the parent folder for the selected download file.

There are so many files in my downloads folder, so i would like the specific file to be autoselected. My file manager support this if i pass the filename as parameter in the commandline.

However, seems that firefox only pass the parent folder path to my file manager in the "show in folder". However can i customize firefox so that it will pass the full file name to my file manager when i click "show in folder", and my file manager will open the parent folder with the specific file autoselected.

Hello everyone, My browser opens with two small pop-ups that pops and closes immediately right before the actual firefox window shows up. I have noticed that some time ago and I'm pretty sure this wasn't happening before. I didn't do any updates or add on's (firefox or windows). What could be causing this? Could it be a virus infections? Windows Defender scanner doesn't find any threats. Thanks for any tips and help.

Quando eu mudo a página do Firefox, através de um programa externo, e depois tento voltar para a página anterior, a página aparece na tela, mas fica completamente INATIVA, e a barra de endereços também não muda para a minha página anterior. É um problema GRAVÍSSIMO que só acontece com o Firefox. Várias das suas sugestões já foram posta em prática, incluindo-se a reinstalação, mas, sem sucesso. Como faço para resolver?

This purple capsule icon appears in the upper left-hand corner of my Firefox browser when I share a tab using Zoom or Google meet. It does not go away when I stop sharing my screen, or if I quit Zoom. If I'm using two displays, sometimes it sticks on one screen when I move my Firefox window and hovers over every window in any app. The only way I can make it disappear is to quit and restart Firefox, which isn't practical. I can't find any setting in the Mac Control Panel or in Firefox to turn this off (Reddit is split on if this is a Firefox problem or a MacOS problem).

As soon as I touch the mouse wheel to scroll up or down, it jumps to the bottom right cell of the page and won't go anywhere else. It's been doing it for a few days and I can't figure out what is wrong. It's this way in every sheet I have. Mouse works fine in every other program. I'm using Firefox, Win 10. There are several persons complaining about this.

Any ideas what is the problem?

i cannot get access to my saves in pocket anymore it is asking me for a password to log in i have never needed one before and no matter what i try to do even resetting a new password i still cant get anywhere

When I try to sign into PNC Bank Personal Banking website, https://www.pnc.com/en/personal-banking.html I get error CODE 18 - 68.60.142.187 I can login using Chrome. I have contacted PNC technical support team, who advise me that the problem is with Firefox. Does this make sense? Can you help me?

I have accessed (Google) Youtube - History, over Firefox/DuckDuckGo for a number of years now without difficulty. Recently Google introduced a Two-step security check and, when selected, a question was sent to the handset (which I use as a tether for two laptops) which always quickly appeared and quickly responded to my finger's touch. In the last couple of weeks the question is still asked but nothing comes through to the handset, or the standby handset. For a test I then went through Google Chrome and that opens the Youtube History without any questions etc. It seems to hint that Google are using the Two-step etc to keep out access over other Browsers. on the 16th of March, I lost my backpack which had a large number of irreplacible values on a train. One that is replaceable was my laptop that I use a lot with firefox.

IS it possible to find the location of my laptop via Firefox?

A setting that shows recent login activity? Anything at all! IP addresses, A website that was opened in a location? Maybe someone found my laptop and for whatever reason, opened my browser. The only browsers I have are Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.

If you have any knowledge about finding the location of a laptop beyond using Firefox, I would greatly greatly appreciate any advice or any knowledge you could share with me that I could try. Laptop uses Windows 11.

Everyone says my audio sounds distorted in google video chat. I had been using it for months without issue on Firefox, and then I got a new Apple computer and people started to tell me I had this issue. In order to isolate the issue I tried going on Teams Video chat and Zoom video chat and people said my audio sounded fine there. Then I opened Google Video Chat in Google Chrome and people said my audio sounded fine there too. Lately, it's only when I'm on Firefox trying to use Google Video Chat (aka Google Meet) to video chat and people say my audio sounds way too distorted to hear what I'm saying. I restarted my computer, I even checked for the latest browser, which is up to date, I can't figure out how to fix this. Sounds like a firefox issue. Any ideas?
