Basically, I have three different profiles in my Firefox with three different app icons, but only one of has notifications.

For some odd reason, the MacOS notification center is showing the wrong profile. It's like only one of the profiles is visible, or working. I tried resetting it, which is apples way of "deleting" it, but Firefox keeps forcing that particular profile and not my main one.

We recently implemented CatoCloud to update our company's security measures. However, we've encountered an issue where Firefox updates are not possible on PCs configured with CatoCloud. The suspected cause is the TLS Inspection feature. Currently, we've allowed an exception for the entire mozilla.org domain in the TLS Inspection settings to enable Firefox updates.

However, we are concerned that exempting the entire mozilla.org domain might be too broad. We would like to know the specific domains or IP addresses that require exception settings to ensure appropriate configuration. Could you provide guidance on the necessary exception settings for domains or IP addresses related to Firefox updates?

I kinda-frequently find myself in the situation that Firefox already downloaded an update, but some time passes before I bit the bullet of actually restarting it. So a new update has appeared - but I can't download it until I restart. So I will have to restart, reload session, download new update, restart again, reload session again.

So it would be great to be able to tell Firefox to forget about the already-downloaded update and just download the latest one. Can this be done?

(The reason why I delay restarting is because I have an unhealthy amount of tabs open, typically with many things in flight; so restarting makes me lose those things, plus there's always the possibility of some trouble while restoring all the tabs)

FWIW I'm in the Beta channel.

I am conducting research and Firefox keeps on deleting my browsing history. I have already extended the history limit in the settings and that has not helped. I believe I may have missed a setting. I would like for Firefox to remember my history as long as possible to better aid me in my research.

After updating Firefox 118.0.2, I loose all my pinned an not pinned tabs! After restarting the updated version, all pinned tabs shows a globe-symbol and the not-pinned tabs where empty. After an additional restart of firefox ALL tabs are gone.

What I tied so far: restoring the Firefox-profile from a backup -> no success. uninstalling firefox and install a fresh (newest) version and restoring the profile -> no success.

The only way to get the tabs back, is to uninstall firefox, restore the profile from backup and install the old version 118.0.2!!

Is there any reason, why this update fails? Is there any way to successful update Firefox, without loosing all my tabs??

I want the tab button to stop navigating any web page. Im tired of the alt tab shortcut moving my focus around and forcing me to completely refresh a page just to interact with it again.

Please do not tell me to use about:config browser.toolbars.keyboard_navigation. It doesnt work because its not what im looking for. I want to disable the tab key in my browser. Period. 100% gone. Stop bothering me ever again type deal.

Is there a way to disable tab key navigation that doesnt require a year of coding experience with an obscure addon that probably doesnt work as of 10 updates ago?

I can not log into my Harley ride planner account. Its not the websight as I can log in on my I phone. I get this message.The resource at “https://www.harley-davidson.com/etc/designs/h-d/images/dropdown-arrow-white-2.png” was blocked by OpaqueResponseBlocking. Reason: “nosniff is true and mimeType is an opaque-blocklisted MIME type or its essence is 'text/plain'”. How do I fix this? Thank you Paul

For the last several months, I have been unable to get audio input from any device working on Firefox. The mic inputs work in all other apps and browsers, are appropriately permissioned on Windows 11, and appear in the Firefox permission windows. No actual audio is received by the website.

I have installed Firefox clean, rebooted countless times, tried the Beta and Dev channel releases, and disabled all extensions, to no avail. I have ensured that I am on the latest releases, have tried various devices, run virus scans. I have included images of the Windows sound settings showing working Mic levels, Firefox showing the device in permissions, etc.

My sound drivers are up to date, and mics work in all other browsers and apps. This is limited exclusively to Firefox.

After facebook messenger upgraded their security chat with end to end encryption call/video is not possible in firefox. Call/video buttons even disappeared. However i can call from microsoft edge web browser for example. Is this some kind of bug with mozilla? Anyone have experienced this too?

I've read all of the recommendation on how to keep links from opening in another window. Tried them all to no avail. This is a new problem. Anybody out there finding the same issue? Find a fix?

Yes, following your instructions I now can see and access the attachements. I cannot still opening them, only download them. It is not perfect but at least I can have access to the attachments without having to exit Firefox and go to Acrobat.

I'm using a Hotspot provided by Cisco in a library and when first connecting to the Wireless network, Firefox prompts me to login to network in order to have Internet access (expected and works fine). However, once the time session expires Firefox will sometimes prompt again to login. When this fails and internet access is abruptly ended, I've to reconnect to the Wireless network and have Firefox prompt to login.

This is a security vulnerability as someone could advertise the BSSID of the router and have victims connect to their Hotspot instead of the true one.

This AM, I opened my Firefox Browser for the first time today and attempted to sign into my EaseUS account. I was confronted by a "request" to add "Browsing Safety by Safely" as an add-on to my Firefox. However, it would not let me to skip this "request" without adding it to Firefox. Nothing I attempted worked. I've never heard of a compulsory add-on, least of all from Mozilla! If I would have had the time, I'd have tried different accounts/log-ons/browsers, etc. However, I didn't have the time to do it then. Help please.

What is this? Have you heard of it? Do I have a problem? Should I remove the Add-On?
