Firefox will not let me get on the internet. It says Unable to Connect, Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www.rr.com. My version is 6.0.2, it was working fine yesterday, but today not at all. My Internet Explorer is working fine.

Firefox used to have under the file pull down a close tab feature and my latest version does not have one.

When I'm on a web site and want to go back to the previous page the back arrow is grayed out and the only way that I can get back there is to exit Firefox and then get ba… (funda kabanzi)

firefox keeps asking me to update however when I check the updates compatability I find that it wont work with my security software [avg free] being reluctant to leave my computer open to attack I am not updating until this problem is resolved

first you tell me my question is too long then when I edit you tell me to fill in extra!!!

Widespread "Firefox is already running" problem suggests it is not closing properly - is Mozilla fixing this?

Several people including me have reported a problem when closing Firefox and then attempting to re-open it. The message "FF is already running and must be closed...." appears, yet the taskbar does not show an active FF. At that point it is necessary to use Task Manager to close the old run. 1. This did not always happen on my computer- has started recently. 2. Most of the time it is in fact possible to open multiple versions of FF without difficulty. This problem only seems to happen if I close the first session and then immediately try to open a new one. So my question is what causes this, not what workaround can to used when it occurs.

My search feature has been Hijacked. Everytime I try to click on a relivant search it goes to a totally unrelated site. I removed firefox and reinstalled it but it did not work. This does not happen in IE. Please help, I do not want to use IE. Michael

directions and clicked on the file. For some reason I got two progress bars of installation

status. One of which was Adobe Reader X, the other was "Google Chrome". When all was complete, I

had a shortcut placed on my desktop labled Google Chrome. I did not click on this icon to this

day. FireFox's homepage is Google. Now is FireFox utilizing this new google download in any way,

and what is the shortcut on my desktop for? When FireFox opens with Google, it appears no

different that it ever did. I wanted to use "Add or Remove programs" to delete this "Chrome"

deal, but I'm not sure if that would mess up FireFox in any way. I hate when these kind of

surprises happens. Please Advise ... HELP !!!! pdh
