Hi,

Some time ago, I used my personal email address as a secondary email on another Firefox account, and I no longer have access to the primary email for that account.

I would now like to use my personal email as a primary email on a new account, but when I try to create the account, it says "This email was already confirmed by another user".

How can I get my personal email address "un-associated" from the old primary email-address when I can't even remember what that email address was, let alone access it?

I don't have any saved info that I care about so I would be happy to have all records "lost" in order to cancel any mozilla/firefox account, either primary or secondary, associated with my personal email address.

Hey, I've noticed lack of sync in audio when pausing video. What I mean:

Assumptions: - Using bluetooth headphones (tested only on airpods pro, 2 different pairs) - system MacOS 14.2.1 - Macbook Pro M1 Pro

1. Play any video with audio (vimeo, youtube, custom players) 2. Pause

Outcome: Right headphone audio stops first Left headphone audio stops after small delay

Expected outcome: Right & Left headphone audio stops at the same time

I'm quite sensitive to things like that.. maybe someone knows a fix for this or this is just Firefox bug?

Hi, Have been a happy user of Firefox for many years and it is my preferred browser. However, around mid 2023, I suddenly lost emails from trusted sources I signed up for like USPS Informed Delivery, ads from Publix, Harbor Freight, ALDI etc., etc. ... . Even when using the same computer running WIN10 64bit with another ISP abroad the same issue happens. Using Malwarebytes for Web protection. However, when I signed up for USPS Informed Delivery using AOL Edge, it works with daily updates. Tried to figure out if there are any filters on Firefox which could be the culprit but don't know what to look for. Appreciate any help to solve this issue. Thanks, Ben

I've just recently switched over to Firefox with Manifest V4's blocking of ad blockers, and made an account here to sync between devices. I somehow mistyped my age during the account creation, though, and put in "13" instead of what I meant to. Will this affect any of my searching, and if so, is there a way to change it?

I have accessed (Google) Youtube - History, over Firefox/DuckDuckGo for a number of years now without difficulty. Recently Google introduced a Two-step security check and, when selected, a question was sent to the handset (which I use as a tether for two laptops) which always quickly appeared and quickly responded to my finger's touch. In the last couple of weeks the question is still asked but nothing comes through to the handset, or the standby handset. For a test I then went through Google Chrome and that opens the Youtube History without any questions etc. It seems to hint that Google are using the Two-step etc to keep out access over other Browsers. I am based in the UK. All suggestions will be welcome. Kind regards, Tim Simpson

Used to use firefox all the time, on computers, though quit using it on tablets as, at those times, it would not display in landscape, whereas other preferred browsers have always displayed landscape without any problem.

Recently found that firefox now does landscape so I've tried putting it to use. While importing students' email addresses I discover it will not work, for days now, both for current firefox and firefox nightly. Working perfectly in every other browser brand, I log into same accounts in other preferred browsers, works just fine with all of them without exception.

I have perused settings to find a setting causative of such gross dysfunctionality yet found nothing. Is there a remedy for that?

All of my inbox e-mail have disappeared and when I go to "view", then click on "sort by" I notice my "received" link is disabled. Can someone please tell me what is going on here?

Everyone says my audio sounds distorted in google video chat. I had been using it for months without issue on Firefox, and then I got a new Apple computer and people started to tell me I had this issue. In order to isolate the issue I tried going on Teams Video chat and Zoom video chat and people said my audio sounded fine there. Then I opened Google Video Chat in Google Chrome and people said my audio sounded fine there too. Lately, it's only when I'm on Firefox trying to use Google Video Chat (aka Google Meet) to video chat and people say my audio sounds way too distorted to hear what I'm saying. I restarted my computer, I even checked for the latest browser, which is up to date, I can't figure out how to fix this. Sounds like a firefox issue. Any ideas?

Hello all. One of my 3 devices does not show up under the "connected devices" window. It's my Samsung A71 smartphone. It hasn't shown up for over 2 1/2 years. I have auto updates set up, I have sync set up, and I have checked settings. I don't know what else to check; I have been all over the place, checking. So, my question is this: how do I manually add it in? What happens after that, can I still sync it, but does that have to be manual, also? Much thanks.

During the week-end my email stopped sending emails. It asks for a password but even with a new password it will not send. I have worked with my email provider but all they can suggest is to contact you or to reinstall the email program. What can you suggest or is this enough information?

Today I have discovered that I am unable to access 2 websites on which I have an account - one is a hotel booking site of which I am a member, the other is a cosmetic company. I have accounts with both and CAN NOT even get to the "members sign in page" what is going on? BTW I have tried to read all the info posted on Mozilla and it doesn't make any sense to me at all as I am NOT... NOT... and IT technician, merely an end user.

I'm using the Firefox browser for Android. When I'm on Bluesky with my Android phone and go to create a post, I tap the image to upload an image. I get the post editor box on the top, the keyboard on the bottom. When I tap the image to add a photo, the keyboard disappears leaving only the box to edit the post and it doesn't go on to the next step where I would choose the image I want to upload. I'm using Firefox for Android 124.0 and a Galaxy A53 5G with One UI 6.0. Android version 14. Also, I have it set to use Spanish.
