Hi,

I am using FF for my automation testing.I run lot of FF instances/windows in parallel. For example if I run 20 window in HTMLUNIT-Driver then my cpu usage is only 5 to 10% but if i run 20 FF headless then my cpu usage is 80=90% .

I tried FF 80 . Still same behaviour

Hello!

I'm working on a small game (web-based) and I'm experiencing a very weird error with the new Firefox 82 update.

What I'm experiencing:

1. I can't logout. Every time I go to /logout, FF refreshes the account page. If I do the same thing on Chrome, it works. 2. I post something on the Forum - page refreshes. If I do CMD+SHIFT+R, the post shows up. 3. I can't login. I login, page stays on an AJAX request with loading. I do CMD+SHIFT+R, it logs me in and goes to the account.

This was all previously working fine in FF 81, and everything IS working as expected in Chrome.

I tried in Vanilla FF (without any plugins) and same issue. I disabled all external scripts that could cause this, and nothing is working.

Example here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/isba772aj49cpoz/Screen%20Recording%202020-10-25%20at%2020.46.04.mov?dl=0

Hyperlinks now broken for FF82.0 latest MacOS Catalina 10.15.7 on a new MacBook Pro (2020). Suddenly hyperlinks won't open - even after trying all the listed 'normal' solutions, e.g. safe mode, refresh, rebuild profile, link checking using Safari where they DO work, etc. Instead they suddenly open a new window with my homepage. You help is appreciated.

So I finally made the switch from Safari over to Firefox, however immediately missed support for HDR playback in YouTube. Is there a workaround that I can use now to be able to watch HDR videos in Firefox, or will we have to wait for it to be officially added?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Reproduce: I enabled Arabic as default language for Firefox in MacOS.

Issue: Now, I have a mixture or Digits format between Arabic Numbers & Hindu-Arabic Numbers. As you can see even with Firefox version from About window: 81.0.2 ‏(٦٤ بتة)

and Developer Tools too, see attached screenshot.

Note for Translators, Arab Countries don't use same digits formats.

- Eastern Arab countries are using Hindu-Arabic Numbers (٠١٢٣٤٥٦٧٨٩) - Western Arab countries are using the Arabic Numbers (0123456789 which are universal in this era)

References:

- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arabic_numerals - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eastern_Arabic_numerals

Workaround: I switch back to English when needed. And usually keep another browser for development.

How It should be: I am from Algeria (a Western Arabic country) & an developer (hobby). I expect to set Arabic language with Arabic Numbers format (and It is already set in MacOS preferences)

Possible Correction: - Split Arabic Language locale into 2 (East & West) or Have a special settings for locale formats - I thing most programmer are using dev tool in English even Firefox in mother language. Not sure how to fix this. It is similar to CLI that are not translated to cursive and RTL scripts.

When logging in to my bank account and requesting an authentication code, my cursor used to automatically refocus and i would be able to start typing in the code in the appropriate box without looking back up at my to click on the box first. Now I find myself typing in the code several times before I realize I'm not typing anywhere at all. Does anyone know if this is a firefox update or an update my bank did with their website? anyone have any idea for a fix?

I'm trying the second time, hopefully to fix this very frustrating issue on my website.

So.. in Firefox, I get random 302 Found statuses for some random pages (and the pages redirects to the user account).

I double-checked in Chrome, and the same page that is 302 in FF is 200 in Chrome. I tried cURL on the same page, and I'm getting => HTTP/2 200

The server is secure (HTTPS) so can anyone let me know why this behaviour? Prior to FF 82, everything was fine.

Thanks!

I inadvertently created a duplicate of my Bookmarks Menu, the folder of which now resides at the bottom of my Bookmarks toolbar. I sometimes accidentally open it when the original is already open, and that creates confusion. I'd like to simply delete the duplicate folder -- is there any way to do that?

I am having a problem where Firefox functions normally, saves session history, saves log in information, etc, until something like a power outage happens where the computer is rebooted. The computer is a Mac desktop. I have gone into system preferences multiple times and selected the option to have Firefox restore session history, and when I simply close the Firefox browser, it does indeed save session history and all other data upon re-opening. However, when the computer is re-booted, Firefox then acts as though it has never been opened before, opening a totally virgin version of the browser. Why would it be wiped every time the computer is rebooted? This is a business computer and we need the log-ins to be saved for multiple different sites. Having to re-log-in and save info for each site we use after every time the computer is restarted is driving me mad.
