After a new email notification sound plays from Microsoft Outlook, https://outlook.office.com/mail/, Firefox has a constant audio stream in use, preventing Windows computers from sleeping.

How to reproduce: 1) In an Admin Command Prompt, execute "powercfg /requests" and verify nothing has a power request, especially "SYSTEM: None." 2) In Firefox, open a tab and login into a Microsoft Outlook account at https://outlook.office.com/mail/. 3) Wait for a new email which triggers an audible chime. 4) In the Admin Command Prompt, verify "powercfg /requests" reports "SYSTEM: [DRIVER] <audio-driver-specific-string> An audio stream is currently in use." Note the computer will never go to sleep due to this request. 5) Close the Firefox tab with Microsoft Outlook. 6) In the Admin Command Prompt, verify "powercfg /requests" has no power requests, especially "SYSTEM: None". Note the computer will sleep after the idle period as expected.

I have logged into a new device with Firefox account and am not certain where the bookmarks have been pulled from as they do not match those on my previous device where the account was set to sync.

Last week attaching documents using drag and drop suddenly stopped working for Outlook webmail. I've seen the same problem posted here, but no response yet. Already tested, this feature still does work in outlook when using Safari, so there is some new incompatibility between outlook and firefox. I really do NOT want to change browsers as I've been using Firefox forever, but this is a deal breaker. Please please Firefox, show some evidence that this new apparent incompatibility is being fixed. Thanks!

p.s. this doesn't seem like it should be left to volunteers, is there a way for messages to reach someone who actually works for firefox?

I am using Windows 10 with Firefox 99.0 and I am trying to configure a Manual Proxy but my Proxy settings are all grayed out so I cannot even select Manual Proxy. I am logged in to my Firefox account. This happens both with and without VPN.

I own a mac and had to erase all my data from my computer in order to upgrade to new system. Issue is - the apple support person did not remind me to save down my firefox browser data/bookmarks. Now my mac is updated and it's like a brand new computer. I searched previous forums and apparently firefox automatically saves down your data but I don't see it in the appropriate folder (Old Firefox Data >bookmarkbackups) - I see data from 2016 and 2017. Can I recover these bookmarks?? I had a lot of important ones saved..

I have always used Gmail to email links, but it has stopped working. In Settings/General/Applications, the 'mailto" gives only the options "always ask", "Firefox (default)" and "use other". Previously the option to select Gmail was there. In fact, the list of applications only has 6 items instead of the numerous ones that were there previously.

I recently upgraded graphics cards from an Nvidia GTX 1080 to an AMD 6900XT. Since then I noticed video stuttering on YouTube while playing 4k videos, especially noticeable at 4k/60FPS (example video ). Prior to the upgrade, I was not experiencing issues.

I monitored task manager as the video was playing to see CPU usage, which was sitting at 25% (4 core 8 thread CPU). GPU usage was fluctuating from 1-3%.

I tried resetting all the changed configuration options in about:config, removing all add-ons, "Refreshing" Firefox, and ultimately uninstalling and reinstalling. Nothing has worked so far except for "Troubleshooting mode" in about:support. In that mode, I experience no stuttering and GPU usage rises to 25-35% with the video playing, even before I reinstalled.

This most likely isn't a networking issue as the "Stats for nerds" option on the YouTube video shows I have 10-20s of buffer while the video is still stuttering.

I would like to find out what's different about Troubleshooting Mode that is not giving me the same problem while in "Normal Mode". Any advice?

almost all are Facebook storage. I'm feeling a little reluctant to delete all site data. If I clear all cookies and site data will that fix the issue? will the issue re-occur?

I am trying to sync my two computers together and I now find one of them is effectively locked out because every time I try to sign in I get the message - "Blocked by content security Policy" so how can I fix this?

OneDrive links recently stopped opening (browser tab shows the OneDrive icon but the page shows no content); Edge continues to open the links. I am running Firefox 99.0.1 (64 bit desktop).

I have at least one extension that has had a later version than what I have for days and firefox is not updating it even though everything is set to auto-update. i hate to have to uninstall/reinstall it since I will lose all the settings I have in place. Any ideas?

Since about a month ago I can't drag a file from a folder to an open email in Firefox. Was always able to, but it stopped a few weeks ago. Follow the dialog at homelink.com to report an error with a garage door remote problem. Clicking on "Submit" gets a 404 error. I've had similar problems with other website dialogs, but usually the link is just ignored. For example rockler.com, when attempting to place an order - nothing happens. In both cases, switching to MS Edge works correctly.
