In just the last day, since the Firefox 85 update, I have not been able to click on eBay advertisement pictures to get them to expand so I can view them full screen (using eBay's image viewer I assume).
here is an imgur video of me trying to click the picture, please note the "javascript:;" in the bottom left as I click the images . . .
imgur.com/a/Uww46VF
I've also loaded a couple of images of the tracking exception I added and a Firefox "Inspector" screenshot of the page and some error indicated at the bottom of that Firefox "Inspector" related to eBay pages.
I did use Safari yesterday or the day before, which I've recently updated as well. I almost NEVER use Safari or Chrome etc. because Firefox is superior in EVERY way shape and form, including security, speed, innovation and quality of experience. I can honestly say I used those other browsers only in the last week or so and only for a very limited use.
I'm no expert at all, so I'm going to make a pure wild guess, that the problem has to do with some javascript update done by the other browsers (Safari specifically) or something done by a stupid 3rd party gaming site (ScoreDB dot io, I ran yesterday, which I should be much smarter than to even consider using), which appears to have now done some type of harm to my beloved Firefox in some way. I should say as well I do not know if this is just a temporary eBay glitch or not as it has only been doing this for about 1 to 2 days.
I did turn off the "Enhanced Tracking Protection" for eBay as suggested in other articles but no effect even after reloading etc. I've rebooted and restarted everything as well but still no change.
Any help much much much appreciated to help return my Firefox to full health!

I updated from the prior version to 85.0 (64 bit) today (Windows 7), and a new problem has shown up almost at once.
Under some circumstances, in particular, when I have one private window open on a King game that utilizes animation (in particular, https://www.king.com/game/candycrush ) and, while this is open, if I attempt to open a new private window, Mozilla Firefox HANGS altogether (doesn't crash--but shows an egg-timer and Windoze reports that it isn't responding).
I did ""NOT"" observe this in the prior version, or in any of the prior versions, but it seems to be something I can recreate pretty regularly, so it seems to be a bug which will probably show up when using other Web sites, as well, although, so far, this is the condition under which I've been able to reproduce the behavior.
I imagine it'll be fixed at some point, but have no idea how to bring this to the attention of a developer properly.
Version 85: Screen image stays after browser is closed I never had this issue until the 85 update.

In an answer to this question: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1318109#answer-1376159 cor-el warned that using OS authentication (like TouchID on a Mac with Touchbar) for passwords instead of a Primary Password is actually not really safe because apparently it doesn't encrypt logins in logins.json and it would be possible to extract them by running: prompt("Logins",JSON.stringify(Services.logins.getAllLogins())); Now I am a bit worried and confused because for storing Credit Cards the default is, of course, using OS authentication (I don't think there's an option to set a password instead). Is that safe, i.e., is the credit card information encrypted (even without a Primary Password)?
And if so, would anybody be able to explain the differences between these two approaches and why it's not possible to use OS authentication with logins/passwords in a safe way but it is with Credit Cards?

Hi. I always use my browser in maximised windows and in other browsers like Brave or Chrome, I can easily move my mouse pointer all the way to the right on the screen and click the mouse to snap to a particular place on the scroll bar, since the scroll bar extends all the way to the right edge of the window.
However, in Firefox it seems that there is padding on the right side of the scroll bar meaning that I 'overshoot' the scroll bar itself and accidentally click on the padding, which sends the scroll bar flying all over the place.
How can I remove the padding on the right of the scroll bar and get a functionality similar to other browsers? I assume it has something to do with CSS styling, but I'm not very good with that kind of stuff...

https://mail.yahoo.com won’t load without deleting the mail.yahoo.com cookie. This has to be done frequently during the day as my Yahoo mail inbox periodically breaks, showing the message "no Internet connection" even though the connection is fine. When this occurs, I get no response whatsoever when I click to refresh the page or reenter the URL address and hit Enter. I can close the page, then reopen it, to no avail. That’s when I have to delete the cookie to get everything working again. When I first open Firefox and go to my.yahoo.com and mail.yahoo.com (which automatically goes to https://mail.yahoo.com/d/folders/1?.partner=sbc since my email address uses @sbcglobal.net), there’s no problem. It only occurs later. This doesn't happen with Chrome and used to never happen with Firefox.
