I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

When I sign in to my bank, placing the cursor in the username box produces a number of username options, including the actual unsername and other mistyped ones from previous login efforts. I don’t want any unsername prompts. I went to Passwords in Firefox and made sure to remove the bank as a site to retain and offer such information when signing into that account. I continue to receive these username prompts. This doesn’t happen with other accounts. I cannot track down where that username information resides, how to remove it, and how to prevent Firefox from retaining this username information for this bank account.

I'm using the Firefox browser for Android. When I'm on Bluesky with my Android phone and go to create a post, I tap the image to upload an image. I get the post editor box on the top, the keyboard on the bottom. When I tap the image to add a photo, the keyboard disappears leaving only the box to edit the post and it doesn't go on to the next step where I would choose the image I want to upload. I'm using Firefox for Android 124.0 and a Galaxy A53 5G with One UI 6.0. Android version 14. Also, I have it set to use Spanish.

ever since i was in Portugal, and a repairman needed my phone to access our contract for a car repair, my web pages constantly show up in Portuguese. no matter what i set my page to, and it SHOWS it is set in English, i still keep getting pages opening up entirely in Portuguese..and have to work my way thru to reset it BACK to English.

what  is going on ?

I set up a Primary Password, but I can easily get around it by clicking 'cancel' then clicking 'home' icon. then I can get into ANY of the links. For others who have access to my computer NOT having that access is Exactly why I set up Primary password in the first place. Surely there must be a way to fix this???? haas2128@comcast.net Thanks. I'm running Firefox 123.0.1 on Linux Mint 21.2. Something changed after my last update. I visit a number of web sites at which I scroll down a window to a link, click on it to open it, read that link, and then return to the previous page. Examples are news sites like slashdot.org, associated press, or arcamax. Firefox used to return to the place in the original site page where I had clicked on a link. Now, it returns to the top of the original site page, and I have to scroll down again to where I had clicked on a link. I can right click on a link, open a new tab, and then close that tab, but that requires multiple clicks, and I used to just click/click. Is there a way to set up Firefox to go back to the previous behavior? Thanks in advance. ;

I don't know where the problem lies. I have a number of videos on youtube and when I was doing some work in markdown I clicked on an older link and was redirected to a website with some bozo trying to promote something - not mine. I tried a few more times and got a bunch of different websites and bozos. This is from clicking on the shared link on the the youtube page.

I don't know whether I've something on my computer, your browser that's causing it, or something somehow on youtube????

Got any suggestions?

When using Firefox, Facebook recently began insisting that I use a second device to obtain permission to log into my Facebook account. This is relatively new, and Edge still lets me log in without issue. How can I make Firefox return to the easier login system?

Commbank commonwealth bank upcoming bills/ payments not opening or working. All other operations in the Commbank site work - just not the tabs to do with Bills/bpay/upcoming payments:

I've tried the clearing of all cache a number of times as previous suggestions and still doesn't work.

It spins the "Loading" symbol for about 20 seconds then puts the message in the image.

I have to go to Google Chrome to operate these tabs and they work fine...... Don't make me go back to Chrome... :D

Hey, I've noticed lack of sync in audio when pausing video. What I mean:

Assumptions: - Using bluetooth headphones (tested only on airpods pro, 2 different pairs) - system MacOS 14.2.1 - Macbook Pro M1 Pro

1. Play any video with audio (vimeo, youtube, custom players) 2. Pause

Outcome: Right headphone audio stops first Left headphone audio stops after small delay

Expected outcome: Right & Left headphone audio stops at the same time

I'm quite sensitive to things like that.. maybe someone knows a fix for this or this is just Firefox bug?

I'm searching for an add-on for Firefox that will allow me to create reminders, access them, and be reminded when they come due. So far my searches have been in vain. I found a couple and added them but cannot find any icon that allows me access pending reminders nor have any that I thought I set up popped up when due.

I spend the majority of my time online in Firefox and would much prefer to control reminders there.

Can anyone recommend an add-on (or a feature I've overlooked) that will handle reminders in Firefox?

This is getting ridiculous! Recently the dam pinterest crap keeps popping up when hovering over images. I have yet to find a solution. It doesn't show in add-ons and appears this pinterest crap has just recently showed up. Yes, this is crap!

Tell me how to delete Google as the default search engine & replace it with another one. If I can't do this I will remove Firefox and also the Mozilla VPN from all my computers. I have used Firefox for years and supported Mozilla. As far as I'm concerned you people have lost your way if you do not give people the option to change their default search engine.

All of my windows and tabs are gone. Dozens of windows each with a dozen or more tabs. History shows many items older that 6 months . but does not remember any previous sessions.
