I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

As i said I want to disable the crtl + W shortcut but i cant find a way to do it. This shortcut makes my day a lot harder cos i sometimes press it by accident. It's annoying. Please help m e unbind/delete it :)

when i try to log on to my USAA bank accounts.

Tech support at the bank worked with me for an hour. We changed password, cleared the cache for the bank's apps, restarted Firefox, restarted the computer, all to no avail. I declined to try Google, simply because i don't trust it. Tech support person said another bank customer had had same problem and just changed browsers, which i don't want to do.

TIA for any help.

I just get a blank page upon attempting to enter the site, but with no content. Grateful if someone could advise.

I am having issues with Firefox crashing at various times though out the day. It always starts out fine, but at some point it just stops responding and I have to close the browser and reopen it. This happens at least once a day and it does it on different units (my LG Laptop, Dell Desktops (2 different units-1 at work and 1 at home), Surface Pro 9, my Dell laptop), so I know it is not the unit, it is something in Firefox! My Dell laptop runs Windows 10, all the others run Windows 11. Please look into this and provide a patch. Thank you!

Well, basically that. On normal browse ( no incognito ) tabs will re open if I re-launch firefox, even with the "Open previous windows and tabs" option off.

Am I missing something or is it normal ?

If I copy text from any website (I am using Firefox 120.0.1 (64-bit) and paste it into either Outlook 365 (email) or Word 365, it is always in "Calibri (Body)" & "Calibri Light" with size "11"?

I would prefer "Times New Roman" and "12".

I recently upgraded from Mojave to Sonoma 14.2, and Firefox 120.0.1.

In Mojave, fn-F12 used to invoke a "Dashboard" with applets like Dictionary and Thesaurus.

With Sonoma, fn-F12 causes the bottom part of Firefox's frontmost window to become a web developer tool, same as ⌥⌘I, instead.

Can I get my Dictionary and Thesaurus back?

fire fox usually has one row of frequently visited /fav web sites come up on the home page, but it has stopped doing this and even when i try and add them manually it wont accept them, the same when i try and boo marl a web page

Scrolling in Firefox is causing any webpage to scroll many lines at once with a single click, and it seems to be exclusively happening to Firefox, as every other application scrolls normally. I have tried searching here and elsewhere for a solution, and I have tried to change about:config settings based on the recommendations I could find to no avail. I have also tried to refresh Firefox and have used Troubleshoot Mode, but those too have not worked. I have no clue as to what could have caused this, as I have not been messing with any settings prior to this.

Firefox has been my default browser for longer than I can remember. Over the years, I have maintained a significant bookmark file for work. I recently purchased a new computer, and my zero bookmarks from the new computer have replaced all of the bookmarks that I had in my old browser. This is a bookmark file that has successfully followed me through multiple computers and even my ios devices. And now it seems to be completely gone. I've looked at the places.sqlite files, and the largest one is 20MB and is in my current default profile, but it is dated today. That makes no sense because I do not have any bookmarks on this older computer, and my new computer doesn't have any either. The bookmarks have also been completely deleted from my iPad, but miraculously are still on my iPhone (evidently I had signed out of Firefox for iPhone at some point so they do exist somewhere.) The thought of trying to rebuild my bookmarks is nauseating. My only thought is to sign out of the browser on all devices, then sign back in and sync on the phone. Would that repopulate the main file with what's on my phone? Any other ideas?

So it looks like notifications stopped working with the lastest Firefox version 120.0.1. Specifically notifications functionality has stopped working for ForexFactory.com. The site says browser disallows notifications though the settings in the address bar indicate that they are allowed. This is also the case for other sites like MarketWatch. Wondering if there is a bug or my install is corrupted. Let me know if anyone else is experiencing this or knows anything about this. Thanks.

Ok well i went to about config and tired off all the accessibility about the quick help bar and now my question is every time i try to go to google search and click on shopping no matter what item i am searching for I get a pop up at the the bottom i of the page every time i hit on shopping that say error update can not be added to this list or some thing like that. it was ok until the last update o of firefox and since i did that but am not sure why. doe not do it in Chrome just frefox. firefox is getting to the point b where i an thing king of leaving it. Machine is Windows 10 with a Logitech wireless keyboard. Latest Firefox browser. Not always but sometimes when using Firefox browser to log in somewhere or enter data on some web site, I'll get an incorrect entry for a key stroke. e.g. I enter a 0 and get a 1. But if I enter a 1 I get a 1. So far the error key has always been different.

I've tested things by launching a notepad or Word document and entering the character and in those all works fine. But go back to Firefox and I get the error again. What I have to do is to close and re-launch Firefox and so far this fixes things. It's an intermittent problem which forces me to keep another browser on the machine and ready. Imagine entering a password when all of a sudden you type 'X' and it gives you an 'E'. Really frustrating!

Hello wonderful Mozilla Firefox,

Could you please educate me on how I may change the default view of my bookmarks. I feel like it did not used to default to the "other bookmarks" in the "Manage Bookmarks" library window (ctrl+shift+o). I find it a bit annoying that it defaults all the way to the very last folder in my whole library. How to fix this? I tried to delete this folder but that is not possible. I do not need to delete, I just want for my view to default to either the very top, or possibly to remember its last accessed folder/location. Is this possible?

An avid and loyal Firefox user.

Firefox (x64 en-US) is our primary browser on 2 different computers: a desktop and an HP laptop. Within days of each other, both Firefox browsers on the two computers began crashing whenever we tried to use them. There has been no error message. Nothing we have done has helped, though we have only tried to fix it on the desktop. We have uninstalled it and reinstalled it on the desktop. We have refreshed the reinstalled version. My online pharmacy, connected to HumanaCenterWell, no longer opens in Firefox. A message "forgerock, redirect_uri_mismatch" appears. It did work until a few months ago and it does work on Google.
