I have Windows 10 with current maintenance and current version of Firefox.

Don't know what the address bar is called, but I believe it once had a download icon. Am I mistaken?

Sometimes after I enter an address there will be an icon where I can download something. Is this website-dependent?

I want the Firefox suggestions to show up when I click on the address bar. Currently, it shows up only when I type a letter. I am unable to find the settings for it. I know it's a silly query, but would still appreciate it if it could be answered.

I was told by Blue Cross tech support that to regain access to their portal, I need to replace my old Fepblue.org password with a new one within my Firefox browser. How do I do that?? Apparently, the Firefox browser doesn't recognize the new password I submitted to Fepblue. portal. Please help? Thanks

I have problem in Mozilla Firefox 118 and 119 about company web app. There are several input[text] and textarea that can't type in them. But in other browsers are fine and Mozilla Firefox ver. 117 is fine too.

Btw, this app using AngularJS.

Any idea what happen and are there any solutions for this problem ?

Can't login to tv.verizon.com. Entering login info produces the message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Trying the same login with Chrome works fine.

Should I be going back to using Chrome again?

Recently I have had multiple occurrences of Firefox "freezing" and I have to shutdown the browser which then reports the fault to Microsoft. It seems to happen when I click on the button to Maximise the browser window. I'm running Windows 11. It generally does restore the browser tabs successfully but is nevertheless irritating and a recent phenomenom.

When Firefox connects to AMAZON, you do not show full access like other browsers, like Google Chrome or MS Edge. In particular, you do not have access to "sizes" and subliminal access to prices like Google Chrome or MS Edge

Usually I don't properly close my applications before rebooting or shutting down my machine. Firefox then restores my previous session, which I don't want.

I've tried the following but this didn't work:

• Verify "Open previous windows and tabs" isn't checked
• set `browser.sessionstore.max_resumed_crashes` to 0
• set `browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash` to false

Do you have any idea, why this doesn't work? or any other ideas how I could disable this?

I'm a software developer working on some web application and sometimes need to manually add URL components in the address bar of an open tab simpyl to test something. For example I have some tab open shwoing the web page under "http://localhost:8080/entry" and I need to test "http://localhost:8080/entry/foobar" by manually adding "/foobar" to the URL. Depending on if "/foobar" exists or not, either some web page is shown or inc ase of a HTTP status code 404 Firefox automatically opens a new tab and forwards my input as search to Google.

That is not what I want. I want Firefox to simply show the HTTP status code 404 like the other browsers I use. Though, I want to be able to search in the address bar in general, only not in case there's an existing working URL open already and I change the child path only.

Is there some way to disable the behaviour of Firefox for 404s or do I need to completely disable searches in the address bar instead?

I recently changed to Firefox from chrome and the focus on security and privacy was a much needed upgrade. However, every time I close my windows I'm logged out of all my accounts. I checked all the settings that would have that effect even escalating it to a clean install and unfortunately nothing works. After checking the support forums this setting seemed to be the one that fixed things, attached is a screenshot showing that its unchecked and that there is cookie data stored, so I'm really at a loss.

While on michaels.com I click on a product, it goes to the product then immediately the screen goes blank. It also happens when I do a search, multiple products show up, then the screen goes blank. I don't have that issues on other websites. What is going on and how do I solve this issue?

I've been using firefox for 10 years and this is the first time this is happening on me. Firefox was working fine but it does not work starting yesterday, simple task like opening and starting a new tab firefox took more than 20 seconds. None of the pages are showing anything, even those about:config pages are not working Every other browsers, like safari and chrome is working perfectly.

I tried to refresh, reset, safe mode, uninstall and deleted library/caches/firefox, library/application support/firefox, but the same problem still occurs.

My specs: macos 14.1. intel 13900kf, 6800xt, corsair vengeance ddr5 48gb, wd 850x ssd

I keep getting a 403 error message when trying to access the British Airways website. This is the first time I have encountered this, although it is perhaps 3 years since I last flew BA. I have cleared my cache and cookies. I have also tried to access the same ba.com site using Edge - with the same error message. This suggests that the problem may lie with BA. However, they have no technical support that I can reach. So I do not know what to do next. I use Kaspersky anti-virus and Malwarebytes to screen for malware.
