Trying to open kossyderrickent.com I was suspicious of its safety. I was offered the option shown in the attachment. Is this legitimate? I am not familiar with the site and I think it may be unsafe. Pls advise.

Hi, Am backing up a laptop that needs to go overnight to a repair shop and want to wipe it clean for privacy. Will the passwords saved by firefox be saved in the backup as well?

I've also downloaded them to a csv file as an additional precaution, but have no idea how to reload them into 'saved passwords' after the repairs are complete, as no option is provided for that - only the option to import from another browser... Thanks for your help!

PS: also, why does mozilla require a manual login to this support forum when my login is saved in it's own password saver?? It is not auto-filling it as expected.

Hello I don't have sound on Firefox. I made all points from article mozilla's about trobleshooting with sound, but it still doesn't works. I have sound on others - Chrome, Edge, Opera. I tried also install Firefox to my laptop and it's the same problem. I turned off blocking of sound in settings. What can I do with it? I very like Firefox and don't image to be without it. I'm running FF 111.0.1 on a 64 bit ASUS I tried to get on Ebay.com a couple of days ago and when I used my bookmark to open the site the cursor just goes back and forth and the site never opens up. So, I figured that they were having internet issues and just kept trying. Well, it's still not working so I'm trying to find out why. I have my FF set up for the address bar to be "just that" and a separate search window in the tool bar. After trying all kinds of things that did "not" work, I changed my choice of search engine to "ebay" and when I typed ebay in the search window the sight came up with me all signed on (because I leave myself signed on) and everything seems to be working as normal. But, I don't want "ebay" for my search engine and I don't want to have to sign on to ebay that way. What has happened to cause this and how can it be fixed?

I've logged in on a brand new installation of macOS (Ventura), but it does not sync my logins, passwords, etc. The settings for the sync are also enabled and it works fine on Windows and Linux. Also tried rebooting, but no luck so far.

I use the Quick Tabs Ported addon. Developement has stopped.

What's nice about it is that it's a combo toolbar button tab counter with a badge, as well as a tab session drop down menu with a search field (pretty much like the built-in "List all tabs").

My issue is that the menu is slow loading, and I was hoping I could find a replacement that can be customized to make the menu entries more compact (remove the spaces between tabs) and display in a proper order

WTF?! You guys do not even have a technical support category?!?!??!

The latest update has broken ebay.com.au. It works fine in private mode. It WILL NOT WORK in troubleshooting mode. Works fine in other browsers on the same Windows 10 PC. Ive also tried disabling addons and extensions, and even Pocket, as well as browsing protection (the shield icon). It just sits there saying "transferring data from ".... the next bit varies, but usually says ebay.com.au, or sometimes a different page, but it NEVER COMPLETES.

I get that it might have trouble with unusual code, but WTF is with firefox not working with EBAY?!

A few days ago, I tried to log in to yahoo mail, and started getting this after I clicked okay: "Redirecting . . ." (print screen below). Now I get the same problem when I paste links into the search bar. I think this started with the new March 31st update. It isn't just one site or application, which seems to suggest that FF is the problem. https://prnt.sc/dIc_AerJtR7g The tab gets stuck there.I cannot view my mail on ff at all, but I can on my phone, probably because I wasn't forced to log out and back in. I cannot paste links. FF is basically unusable for me right now except for sites that I use frequently.

Lately, I've been having the problem with bookmars.

When I want to save my favourite pages to specific folders I created for different areas, I always used the method where you click in panel with www address e.g. https://support.mozilla.org/, the whole address is now selected and I drag that addres to specific folder of mine. When placed, the bookmark was saved to that folder, but in addition to that, Mozila browser also fetched bookmark title with title of the page.

So after drag-and-dropping the link https://support.mozilla.org/ I ended up with bookmark in my folder, that looked like this: "Get Support | Mozilla Support"

Now when I do the same procedure, I just copy the link addres itself. So it ends up like this: "https://support.mozilla.org"

You get the idea. )Where did the feature of fetching titles dissapear? Can it be returned back?

I've been using bookmarks this way (drag-and-drop by mouse to specific folder) since I can remember. And this problem occured just week ago. It helps me to speed up my process faster than using the star icon. And now I dont even know what I saved when I look at my folder and try to make sence of it the next day, because everything I can see is link addresses.

I tried it on many computers and many diferent systems Win10 11 etc and I still get the same problem. I tried it with reinstalling Firefox, with deafult settings, in normal or inkognito mode. Nothing works.

Any help? Can this be fixed?

I've used the Last Pass application with Firefox for years but recently Last Pass isn't auto-filling anymore. It auto-fills fine with other browsers but has stopped with Firefox within the last week or so. Any help would be appreciated.

IF I CANNOT GET BACK INTO MY FIREFOX AND/OR GOOGLE ACCOUNT I CANNOT GET MY EMAILS TO SYNC. How does someone get ACCOUNT HELP? I'll pay for the blasted help if just to get my emails out of FIREFOX? Such BAD customer service -- oh yeah, we aren't CUSTOMERS cause Firefox is FREE. Right now that is EXACTLY WHAT FIREFOX and MOZILLA are worth -- NOTHING, NADA, ZERO, TRASH! And now it will cost me $$$$$ to get my computer completely reset to eliminate ALL TRACES OF FIREFOX!!!

For the past few months I've been starting to have some trouble with other sites that I go onto. For example, on Google if I try to search something that has 'a' in it, it ignores the rest of my query and searches up everything leading up to the A. Even just pressing A it's almost like it's acting as a mouse-click, but this problem only seems to be occurring on Firefox, nothing else.

What's going on?

when i search something in google.com most of it is unloaded and i cannot scroll down and on youtube.com i cant scroll down. I dont know what to do

I've used Firefox for years on my iMac with its 5K display. The UI was fine. Today I had to delete and then re-install Firefox because the program had started crashing repeatedly. I lost a lot of bookmarks & tabs. Upon opening the new install, I saw that Firefox now shows a miniaturized UI that is very difficult to read. I refer to the UI elements (tabs, bookmarks bar, URL/search field), not the web pages themselves. As part of the installation, I went through all the settings, and I didn't see any controls for the sizes of UI elements. So I searched the internet and found many reports of similar problems over many years. I tried a few suggested changes to about:config settings. Nothing has worked. I am exasperated. What am I missing? Can anyone help?

Hello. With the new Firefox 111.0 64-bit, I am no longer able to use the add-on PrintEditWE. Is there a security feature that was added, or a setting that I need to change? Thanks.
