Trying to open kossyderrickent.com I was suspicious of its safety. I was offered the option shown in the attachment. Is this legitimate? I am not familiar with the site and I think it may be unsafe. Pls advise.

Hello I don't have sound on Firefox. I made all points from article mozilla's about trobleshooting with sound, but it still doesn't works. I have sound on others - Chrome, Edge, Opera. I tried also install Firefox to my laptop and it's the same problem. I turned off blocking of sound in settings. What can I do with it? I very like Firefox and don't image to be without it. Hi, I don't know why, but my firefox's console suddenly started highlight dom elements only with borders, without background colors for padding and margin as usual. How to get them back? Attaching 2 images: one from firefox, with current boder-highlights, and sadly one from chrome, because firefox doesn't have anymore, with background highlights, just as an example of how, circa, was FF before.

Hi, Am backing up a laptop that needs to go overnight to a repair shop and want to wipe it clean for privacy. Will the passwords saved by firefox be saved in the backup as well?

I've also downloaded them to a csv file as an additional precaution, but have no idea how to reload them into 'saved passwords' after the repairs are complete, as no option is provided for that - only the option to import from another browser... Thanks for your help!

PS: also, why does mozilla require a manual login to this support forum when my login is saved in it's own password saver?? It is not auto-filling it as expected.

I'm running FF 111.0.1 on a 64 bit ASUS I tried to get on Ebay.com a couple of days ago and when I used my bookmark to open the site the cursor just goes back and forth and the site never opens up. So, I figured that they were having internet issues and just kept trying. Well, it's still not working so I'm trying to find out why. I have my FF set up for the address bar to be "just that" and a separate search window in the tool bar. After trying all kinds of things that did "not" work, I changed my choice of search engine to "ebay" and when I typed ebay in the search window the sight came up with me all signed on (because I leave myself signed on) and everything seems to be working as normal. But, I don't want "ebay" for my search engine and I don't want to have to sign on to ebay that way. What has happened to cause this and how can it be fixed?

Suddenly my email from yahoo (my address==> [edited] @att.net) is GOING INTO TRASH. What'up ? I made NO changes to filters.

Hello. With the new Firefox 111.0 64-bit, I am no longer able to use the add-on PrintEditWE. Is there a security feature that was added, or a setting that I need to change? Thanks.

I've logged in on a brand new installation of macOS (Ventura), but it does not sync my logins, passwords, etc. The settings for the sync are also enabled and it works fine on Windows and Linux. Also tried rebooting, but no luck so far.

WTF?! You guys do not even have a technical support category?!?!??!

The latest update has broken ebay.com.au. It works fine in private mode. It WILL NOT WORK in troubleshooting mode. Works fine in other browsers on the same Windows 10 PC. Ive also tried disabling addons and extensions, and even Pocket, as well as browsing protection (the shield icon). It just sits there saying "transferring data from ".... the next bit varies, but usually says ebay.com.au, or sometimes a different page, but it NEVER COMPLETES.

I get that it might have trouble with unusual code, but WTF is with firefox not working with EBAY?!

Hi, I disabled several options in About:Config, and a feature previously disappeared. When I pressed the scroll button in the diamond, it opened a tag and moved to it automatically. Whatever you do with the current tag, I want it. Please help me.

IF I CANNOT GET BACK INTO MY FIREFOX AND/OR GOOGLE ACCOUNT I CANNOT GET MY EMAILS TO SYNC. How does someone get ACCOUNT HELP? I'll pay for the blasted help if just to get my emails out of FIREFOX? Such BAD customer service -- oh yeah, we aren't CUSTOMERS cause Firefox is FREE. Right now that is EXACTLY WHAT FIREFOX and MOZILLA are worth -- NOTHING, NADA, ZERO, TRASH! I use the Quick Tabs Ported addon. Developement has stopped.

What's nice about it is that it's a combo toolbar button tab counter with a badge, as well as a tab session drop down menu with a search field (pretty much like the built-in "List all tabs").

My issue is that the menu is slow loading, and I was hoping I could find a replacement that can be customized to make the menu entries more compact (remove the spaces between tabs) and display in a proper order

For the past few months I've been starting to have some trouble with other sites that I go onto. For example, on Google if I try to search something that has 'a' in it, it ignores the rest of my query and searches up everything leading up to the A. Even just pressing A it's almost like it's acting as a mouse-click, but this problem only seems to be occurring on Firefox, nothing else.

What's going on?

Hello. I un-installed Microsoft Edge and Office 365 and now Firefox has stopped working (on another computer not this one).

This is the same problem that someone reported in 2021, but that thread has been archived.

The advice then was to re-install Firefox and to download Visual C++ \ Visual Studio files ( especially VCRuntime1401.dll).

My problem is that I don't have a browser on that computer, I am completely cut off from the internet and can't download anything.

Is it possible to download the necessary files on this computer and transfer them to the one that has the problem? Thanks.

When I'm on a webpage and drag the URL onto the Bookmark Toolbar it's showing up as an URL instead of the page name like it used to.

For example: If I was on this page: https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/35895322/sources-cowboys-trade-texans-wr-brandin-cooks

Before the last update if I dragged that URL to the Bookmark Toolbar it would say: "Cowboys trade for Texans WR Brandin Cooks"

After the update it just shows the URL.

This makes it VERY hard to remember what each bookmark is.

Can anyone help me to bring this back to using the page name instead of the URL on this Toolbar?
