Hello, I've been experiencing some issues after updating to version 106. I can be watching a video, listening to a music of viewing a site and randomly, the browser would become unresponsive and freeze. The funny thing is that music or videos keep playing in the background and the RAM or CPU usage never goes down but I can't do anything. After a while if I try to click on the browser, it then brings up a popup telling me that the app is unresponsive and I could either wait or close the app. Previously I had waited for over 2 hours hoping that it would fix itself but that never happens. The only saving grace is that I am able to restore my previous tabs after closing Firefox but tabs on my private tabs are gone forever (P.S. It's not p0rn but site that i don't want cached on my browser). This started from me updating to version 106 and currently am on 106.0.2 but the issue persists. I was hoping someone can assist me with this as I do prefer using Firefox.

I just opened a pop up that you sent - asking to choose a color. I had no idea it would change the look of Firefox. Please could you instruct me how to change it back to how it was. This brown is not OK.

I tried changing the user agent, it didn't help. I think the problem is in the Java engine.

My firefox browser for windows 10 disappeared overnight, I downloaded & reinstalled but my shortcuts & add ons are gone, even though I am logged into my Firefox account?

I have been using online banking for years and using Firefox to access my accounts. Suddenly, I now get an error message (see attached) that demands I use another browser (e.g., Chrome, etc.). I want to continue with Firefox. The website support people tell me there is a Firefox update needed, but the latest Firefox is installed. I did the usual and deleted the cache and the site data. No effect.

Can you help?

I was so in hopes that the latest update (10-19-22) would fix the issue with facebook...but no, after a minute of scrolling on facebook, the screen starts jumping and scolling around without my input. Facebook works fine with Chrome, but I would prefer FF. I know there are a lot of people experiencing same and was hopeful this update would be the fix. Windows 10, most recent update on facebook and now most recent FF update, too.

The last two upgrades caused me to lose all of my bookmarks. I am running version 106.0.2 on a 64 bit hp desktop. Am I doing something wrong? Pretty basic download/upgrade. I am no longer taking upgrades until I can get answer(s)

Hello all, im needing some help.

Wifes comp blew up, an old Win7 system, component on the motherboard died, but I pulled the ssd out and dropped it onto something else so I can back data off of it.

I have it in a W10 box that is alive and well. There are 3 things i need to get at and I am not sure how, this is basically the same question for Firefox, Chrome and Opera (apparently some of her business stuff likes one browser and not another etc etc etc, I dont ask I just fix things).

So in firefox, i have the entire Firefox folder as the SSD it was all on seems to be alive and well and other back ups have been fine. Is there a way I can back everything off of her version of Firefox that is not installed just present as a secondary drive, so all her bookmarks, and (im assuming no on this part but ill ask) her web cache and add them into a new install of Firefox? Is this possible? If I just launch Firefox.exe form the D drive that was originally W7 not W10 would it fire up? It just needs to be alive long enough to do the backup to an HTML file and copy the addresses for the open tabs. Can this be done? PLEASE any\all advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

Hi, yet again, I've opened Firefox to find just one tab, a Mozilla ad in this case; the 40 or so tabs I had open are gone. I had prepped for a day's work ahead and had opened the tabs I needed for research and work, ready to start in the morning. I don't know what's causing it; I do know that this most often happens when I've shut down Firefox, then go to Thunderbird for a last check of emails, and click on a link in an email which opens Firefox.

Is this a bug? Does Firefox just not like being opened via an email link? Is it a problem if a Firefox private window has been left open inadvertently, even though Firefox was properly shut? Or is it just Firefox updates that cause this problem? It's been happening for a while now, and is really frustrating and costly, workwise. Yes, I do have restore previous session ticked. I've shared the data report below - at the time of this post, not at the time of opening Firefox. Any help would be really appreciated, especially if it's simply explained :) Thank you

With the latest update, my Win 7 Dell laptop hangs every time I exit Firefox. All I can do is log out and log back in to correct it. There is just a spinning icon that never goes away and I can't access the Windows menu. I'm submitting this from another machine so I don't have to deal with the issue.

Hi, can i ask you please don't publish new Version of Mozilla Firefox everyday? I use it and everyday and every Time that i open it, there is a new Version of Firefox, that i should download. please first make all of changes and after that maybe one Time per Month is okey but not every Hour and every Day. When I try to save a Google doc, I get "Something went wrong" error message. I've tried all of Google's troubleshooting tips plus contacted Google support with no success. I can save Google docs successfully in Chrome, but Firefox is my preferred browser. Google support asked me to check if I had Firefox set up to block Google drive, but I didn't know how to check for that. They told me Tools>Options>Privacy, but I don't see "Options" under the "Tools" menu.

I notice that this issue with Google docs started after I got the pop-up on 10/31/22 from Firefox about their new themes and tabs. I accidentally clicked "yes" and now have another problem. I can't read the screen and can't figure out how to go back to the default setting. Community says to try a different theme, but none of them works for me. I just want to go back to the default setting for themes and tabs. Not sure if this issue with themes caused the problem with Google drive.
