I think I may have accidently pressed a button and made the homescreen giant even though it shows as being at 100%. Does anyone know of a way to return to to normal?

I have my saved login and password details from another browser in a CSV and would like to import them to Firefox. I initially did not have the 'Import from a File' option in the drop down menu of the Logins and Passwords tab. After following a guide that instructed to set signon.management.page.fileImport.enabled to true in the about:config page, the option appeared. However, the said option is unresponsive to any clicks. The drop down menu simply closes once the option is selected, without any other reaction.

I'm not sure if this is a related problem but I am also unable to use the Import Wizard that appears on performing Alt+F and choosing 'Import From Another Browser...' The Import Wizard window only appears with a message that says "No programs that contain bookmarks, history or password data could be found."

Funnily enough, the 'Browse..' button for adding images under this support question doesn't work either.

Firefox has suddenly stopped sizing shipping labels when downloading them from Amazon and ebay. They print way too large. Changing the printer setting, size, etc does not help. It seems as though Firefox is converting them somehow. I have tried clearing the printer settings in Firefox also.

On many websites I see text such as keyboard_arrow_right obstructing the view of the actual content (see attachment for example). Currently it's just annoying, but it makes it difficult to use websites and often I switch browser to Edge just to get work done on that website. How do I fix this? Or is it just a bug with this latest Firefox version [103.0.2 (64-bit) for Windows 10]?

Where ever I press my left click on any text the line that shows when pressing on an area for typing appears... It doesnt allow me to type but it is sooo annoying plus sometimes it prevents me from pressing on buttons of some websites.

Duplicating of bookmarks now sorted by clearing all, thanks. Now, in the drop faves the bookmark menu is missing but appears in left pane when manage tab pressed? what is going on!

I haven't used this laptop (Win10) in a few days, but FFox just updated to 103.0.2 and the icon in the taskbar is no longer there. It's a "blank page" looking thing. Wow. After years of having FFox in my taskbar, I'm surprised by how disorienting this is. LOL.

I unpinned from the taskbar, and the icon appeared for a half second before it went away. Re-pinned, and the blank page icon is back. Creating a shortcut for the desktop works just fine, but I'm used to the taskbar.

Obviously, I can deal with this, but I thought y'all should know that this broke in the last update. At least, for me, it did.

Dear Firefox Team,

I am using Firefox in two laptops, one Win10 and one Win11. My situation is as the following:

1. Bookmarks in two laptops have already been synced. 2. On laptop1 I login Firefox, delete some bookmarks, and sync. 3. On laptop2 I login Firefox, sync, then all my deleted bookmarks are restored in laptop2. (4. If I login Firefox on laptop1 later, deleted bookmarks come back too.)

I expect 3. not to happen because I expect Firefox uses data modified time to decide which is the latest. However the above situation keeps happening.

Could you please guide me how to not restored deleted bookmarks? Thank you.

Discord hyperlinks will no longer open when Firefox Developer Edition is selected as my default browser. They open fine in both Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome when selected as Windows 11's default browser. When selecting my default browser it would show 2 instances of Firefox Dev but after uninstalling then reinstalling it there is only one instance in the default app list. I'm not really sure where to go from here. Maybe this is an issue with the latest version of Dev Edition or is this an issue with my Windows?

i really hate when forcing a new features without clear or easy way to disable it ..started the the download icon new annoying behave. now i have 2 more problems....

1.how can i disable this one ( Windows' "Make text bigger" accessibility setting now affects all the UI and content pages, rather than only applying to system font sizes) it was ok before update i want to remove this new one i don't like the UI auto resize..

2.after updating to 103 my bookmarks toolbar stopped working.. now its it's empty and i cannot add any new bookmark by select and drag the only thing i can do to show or hide this blank bookmark toolbar how to fix it ?

After this latest Firefox install, my zoom percentages are wonky. They were set at 100% before but now I have to adjust them to around 70% for the same zoom effect, but that doesn't fix how much taller the tab space is and bookmark space relative to the previous version.

Hello! This is probably one of those intrusive facebook things I won't be able to stop, but when I open messenger in Firefox, it prompts me every! single! time! to download messenger for windows, which I very much don't want to do. It does it via a box over my messages that I have to physically click away. I already have pop-up windows disabled for every site. I went to permissions-- notifications but it wouldn't let me add messenger. Is there anything I can do?

FF upgraded itself and turned off the lighted keyboard on my tower computer. I can still use the keyboard, but it is not backlit and I want that feature back. Windows help files are non-existant. I have unpluged the keyboard and reconnected it and I did a cold reboot of the computer-no joy. Disabling the keyboard and trying to reinstall it by plugging it in again might work, but doing that is marked "advanced" by windows, so I am afraid to do it without advice. I am running windows 10 and use a Logitech keyboard. I am not a computer techi, so I need advice in baby-talk. VO1TV>

Firefox updated to 103.0 (64-bit) tonight and now zoom is at 110%. I have gone in and put it back to 100% but it's not changing. When I go back and look, it's right back to 110%.

How can I fix this?

This is a very bizarre problem. Basically I can't install any Firefox addon neither on my desktop OR may laptop. I noticed this issue just couple of days ago. When I try to install any addon normally, from a link, it tells me that the addon can't be installed because the file is corrupt. Tried several addons, all same problem. On my desktop AND on my laptop. On my desktop I'm running ver. 103, but on my laptop I still had ver. 102.1, so there is no Firefox update issue. When I try to install addon from xpi file, it tells me that I have no permission to open that file and that's it. I tried to take ownership of that file but it didn't solve the issue I tried to disable my AV program, but it didn't do anything. On my laptop, I tried to refresh FF, no help. I tried to start FF in safe mode, same problem. I created new profile, same issue. Eventually, I totally uninstalled FF, removing program itself, removing Appdata folder and even registry entry. Installed fresh copy of FF, same problem exists. Then, I noticed one thing. When I tried to sync fresh FF installation on my laptop, it synced everything, EXCEPT for addons. So, something is preventing me doing anything regarding addons. Themes install just fine. I've struggling with this problem since yesterday and at this point I totally ran out of any fresh ideas how to solve this issue, thus posting here. I'll appreciate any fresh idea as what to do next. I opened Firefox this morning and suddenly my home screen was 4 or 5 times larger then when I shut down the night before. The zoom settings in the menu only affect the body of the home screen. I can not find how to reduce the size of the fonts being used in the ribbon.

My web pages have increased in size on their own. I tried shrinking the font size a bit but it is not the font but the pages (borders, etc)....how do I get it back to normal and why did it do this?

Hi, I am trying to understand why my exceptions (blocked web sites) keep deleting and or when I delete cookies the exception are also removed? I apply several web sites to be always blocked, but every time I go back to add another or check. They have been removed. Also if I tick the delete cookies when closed. That also deletes the exceptions. Why would it do this?

Why on earth would I continue to re-enter the same several exceptions every time I open Firefox?

Am I missing something else in the settings? And yes I always click on save changes.

I've enabled 'Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed' to delete the cookies and site data when I close Firefox, but I would like to add some exceptions (mostly mail site). Every time I add the exception through Manage Exceptions... button and then I close Firefox, when I restart Firefox, the exception is gone. Is this expected? I don't think so. If so, it's not clear in the UI, as the button is just next to the mentioned checkbox.
